My property is situated in the most beautiful part of town, in green, low-trafic area, near St.Jakob beach and on short walking distance to The Old Town. Apartments are situated in 120-years old house, recently renovated with spectacular view to cristal blue sea, Island of Lokrum and historical Old Town. House has nice surounding full of domestic trees and plants where guests can taste seasonal fruits. Guests are far enought to avoid all crowd and noise in the centar but close enought to take a plesent walk there. Dear guests, just come and steal this part of paradise just for yourself!

Perfect location, absolutely recommend it!
The description of the property was accurate and the facilities were perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was clean and tidy. The view from the bedroom and balcony was amazing and it was a joy to watch the sun setting over the old city. Kate was very welcoming and helpful. The tomatoes were delicious! I would recommend this property to all my friends. It is perfectly located and the walk into the old city was easy if hot! The local beach was a great relief in the afternoons and the restaurant was lovely. I hope to come back!

Nous avons passé, mon épouse et moi, cinq jours très agréables dans le joli appartement que loue Kate dont l'accueil était très chaleureux et amical. Elle était toujours très attentive à veiller au bien être de ses locataires.
La villa est légèrement en surplomb d'une rue peu passante. On y accède par un escalier de 50 marches ce qui est très raisonnable comparé à toutes les rues en escaliers de Dubrovnik ! La maison se trouve à une petite demi-heure de marche de la vieille ville.
Quel plaisir d'ouvrir les rideaux de la fenêtre le matin sur cette superbe vue sur la mer, les beaux bateaux et l'île de Lokrum. Le petit déjeuner se prend bien sûr sur la terrasse ombragée, la cuisine est petite mais rien n'y manque.
Nous ne manquons pas de recommander à nos amis et nos connaissance cette délicieuse adresse.
Great apartment, wonderful host Kate, amazing view
After an unforgettable holiday in 2012 in Dubrovnik, we booked this apartment for the 2nd time again this year and I think that’s the best confirmation of our great satisfaction about this accommodation on this lovely spot near Dubrovnik Old City: When you have stayed there once, you want to come back! And we did.
With our 3 daughters (2, 5 and 7 years) we experienced a wonderful 2 weeks stay. For our youngest the very helpful and friendly host Kate put an additional bed in the master bedroom, leaving more then enough space. The other two could choose to sleep on the sofabed in the living or in the loft bed built above the kitchen. The kitchen itself is not too big but well equipped and more than enough space anyways for a holiday of which you spent time outside the most. The perfect shower in the large bathroom is very welcome after a hot day. All in all quite spacious apartment, located in the (to my opinion) best part of Dubrovnik, not the high luxury of a 5 star hotel but everything (and more) you need for a 5 person family like us is present and clean. A very, very good value for money!
The view through the windows of the bedroom and especially from the terrace is just stunning: looking over island Lokrum and towards the ancient city of Dubrovnik makes your breakfast tasting better! And in the evening, the kids nicely sleeping, you can finish another enjoyable day having a glass of wine on the terrace, watching the illuminated city walls in a distance.
The apartment is on walking distance to 2 pebble beaches. One is Banje Beach, just outside the old city. This beach hosts a lounge bar, is very popular and therefore crowded. We prefer Sveti Jakov Beach much more. It’s a 3 minutes walk from the apartment, in the other direction away from the old city. It is much more quiet, the view on the old city still stunning, beach bed and umbrella for rent, crystal clear water, the kids enjoyed it every day. And their parents as well :-) Little disadvantage are the 165 steps stairs from the road to the beach below the cliff. Going down is not the problem, going up after a lazy day on the beach is a bit more challenging (carrying a child on your neck). We took this for granted; this idyllic beach is just too nice to leave it aside because of some stairs.
We would like to thank Kate and her family for their hospitality which surely contributed to another unforgettable holiday. It just felt as coming home, and we will be back again for sure!!
