My husband and I spend quite a lot of time at our island home. We spend most of the time though in a suburb of Chicago running our lawn care business. We love to share our island home with others who want to see the beautiful island of Maui. Jennifer & Rolf

We came to Maui for the first time in 1999 and fell in love! We came back every winter and finally in 2002 we were able to buy our little piece of paradise. Nani Kai Hale is on Sugar Beach and you can not beat it for a stunning beachfront location! Sunrise against the West Maui Mountains and the sunset into the sparkling Pacific Ocean are must see.
Our 1 bedroom condo on Sugar beach offers 5 or so miles of golden sand to walk on, lay out at or take a refreshing swim. Whale watch in season from the lanai or catch a breathtaking sunset. The property has an oceanfront BBQ area and heated oceanfront pool. We are also central to many island activities.
My wife are currently staying at this property as I write this review. Everything that is presented in the description is just as it says. We arrived and found the condo ready for our visit. The owners have been very helpful in the rental of the property. The condo was very clean. They even provided us with a great welcome basket. Location, Location, Location, This was centrally located to all of the attractions that we had planned. My wife and I prefer to rent a condo instead of staying at a resort and this was well worth it. The other guests and regular residents were very friendly. I highly recommend this condo, you wont be disappointed.
Close to shopping and walking distance for fresh fruits & vegetables. A perfect sand beach lies just out the door. The owners have provided everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing vacation. They have put together a book with excellent restaurant choices and general information. The local residents are friendly and very helpful with information. Nani Kai Hale is a place to relax at and home base to to see all Maui offers.

The property is located in the very north end of Kihei, out of the congestion of Kihei and South Kihei, very little traffic noise and a good view of the ocean.
The owner was quite responsive to all of my questions and everything she stated was right on. The unit is very clean, and wonderfully outfitted with utensils, non stick pans, soaps, towels, beach chairs and even a cooler for beach (2, one big one and a smaller one).
I highly recommend this place and especially this unit.
The owner took the time to call me after our first day to make sure we were all good to go, never had that happen before.

This made our vacation in paradise even better! Jennifer was great and very helpful with any questions we had, whether it was regarding the condo or questions and suggestions about Maui. She answered every question we had and provided a detailed list of things to do on the island. When we arrived at the condo, everything was provided for us including coolers, beach chairs, plastic baggies, beach towels, and more. The two bathrooms were a fantastic added touch! The condo was decorated beautifully and very clean, not to mention the great location! We will definitely be staying here again for our next trip to Maui!
Mahalo to Jennifer and Rolf for their lovely condo. We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, modern, and comfortable with lots of nice extra amenuties. It was terrific to have all the essentials in the kitchen for preparing meals in to save on expenses for the 8 days we were there. There were plenty of linens and extra pillows. The bed was so comfortable! It was great to have a laundry room on the same floor. I loved that there was two full bathrooms! My man and I each had one to ourselves which felt indulgent. There were even extra lawn chairs, ice chest and soft sided cooler if we needed them. The location of Nana Kai Hale was wonderful. We walked the beautiful beach and enjoyed the well kept grounds. It was incredibly convienient to that the farmer's market, ABC store, and shaved ice stand were just across the street and down a block. Not to mention getting out and exploring the island and doing so many great activites: snorkeling, hiking, walking the beaches, shoppng, and just relaxing there.
I recommend this as a wonderful vacation rental! When we come back to Maui in the future I beleive this is were we will stay. Mahalo!
The Nani Kai Hale condo was perfect! Steps to a beautiful beach, that we often had completely to ourselves. The condo is exactly as described. It feels as though it has recently been updated. The king size bed is super comfy, and the room is large. The condo was very clean and suited us very well for our week long vacation. Nicely appointed kitchen, with all the amenities you will need while you are away from home.
The condo is located conveniently to shopping, ABC corner store, and probably the best shave ice on the island. We found driving to anywhere on Maui from this location was easy and returning home to the condo was very accessible, with a main road nearby, with tons of parking available for everyone.
The entire property is well maintained and clean, including laundry room, pool and bbq/patio area.
The owner, Jennifer, was wonderful to communicate with. Answered all emails in a timely manner, and was easily reached via cell phone - even while she was away on her own vacation in Italy. Jennifer made accommodations for us, as we arrived later than expected due to flight delays - she invited us to stay an extra day, though we were unable - and when we had a late departure, she made it easy for us to stay a little past check out. We had a worry free vacation, and we can't wait to come back.

We stayed for 10 days in Rolf and Jennifer's wonderful condo in November 2013. It is clean, well-equipped and very inviting. This is our third visit to Maui and for the first time, we can honestly say we found a condo on the island that we want to return to, again and again. We look forward to renting unit #404 again very soon.
