Lovely apartment in a Beautiful area
We very much enjoyed our stay at this roomy, airy apartment with amazing views from multiple directions. 120 plus steps from the main street, but worth it; just plan well!
The owner met us and gave us a personal orientation to the town after showing us the apartment. It was a good way to get the feel of the place. He speaks French and Italian so some communication was a little iffy, but we caught most of the drift.
The main glitch that we found was that the promised WiFi did not work. He informed us when we arrived; he did show us spots in town, and in the end, we had drinks and WiFi at the bar just below the apartment.
I'm sorry for the WiFi. The router did not work and I had to bring it to Naples to have it fixed. It took some time before they accepted to replace it.
You were unlucky, it now works fine and fast!
I'm happy you enjoyed your staying in my house and thank you for your nice commenta.

"The flat was perfect: clean, not noisy at all and the view couldn''t be better. Minori is the best place to visit all the Amalfitan coast, even with public transpot.

"Our stay in "Casabluette" in Minori was one of the highlights of our holiday in Italy. The apartment is excellent for a couple, perhaps with one child. It is spacious, very tastefully and comfortably furnished with a very personal touch. The views from all windows are memorable. The only slight offset is that there are over 130 steps from the village main street to the apartment. But, I emphasise, it is well worth the effort.
Our hosts were very helpful and Vicki met our bus and showed us the apartment and around the town. The immediate neighbour is charming and friendly. Minori has a pleasanat atmosphere and is rather less 'touristy' than some of the other Amalfi towns.

"A characterful and atmospheric apartment in historic building with fabulous views (much better than is apparent from pictures).Unique and memorable experience.Characterful and stylish decor (beautiful tiles).Very clean, extremely well equipped. Most efficient ceiling fan in kitchen.Verandah spacious with breathtaking views of sea & church, also stunning panorama of town & hills. A truly memorable experience to eat out here, by day or night.
Owner v friendly, 100% dependable, most helpful advice, took us to wonderful viewpoint, very kind and conscientious.Friendly, welcoming neighbours. Superb location in historic centre,v close beach,1 minute from 3 excellent restaurants, excellent choice of grocer/butcher/fish/supermarket on doorstep, away from noise of coastal road.Apartment in fascinating medieval building with fabulous views as you ascend/descend stairs.
After 2 weeks exploring Amalfi coast, would definitely recommend Minori as base.Less commercialised, more attractive sea front than other towns, greater community feel, far fewer Brits/Americans (so no trashy tourist boutiques),less crowded, more authentic Italian.
Would highly recommend Casa Bluette and Minori."

"The tastefully appointed apartment was everything I had hoped for, and more. The charming home with its impressive sea and mountain views is a great place to relax and recharge. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for an authentic Amalfi coast experience and an appreciation for a holiday home with character and soul. The only possible improvement would be to have some ipod speakers in the apartment, other than that, it ticks all the boxes. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and very helpful with recommendations and info about the area."

"We stayed in the apartment for a week in September 2010 at the start of a ten week holiday in Europe. It was the best accommodation we had in the whole trip. It was comfortable, clean, well appointed, had fantastic views and Minori was just lovely. Away from the 'tourist' areas of the Amalfi Coast and everyone was very welcoming in the town. The owners, Ugo and Vicki met us and showed us their apartment and had some snacks ready for us and our children. They told us all about the Amalfi Coast and the best places to go, see, eat etc. Minori is such a beautiful little village and we would thouroughly recomend this apartment and the town to anyone travelling to teh Amalfi Coast."
With the car: the highway to Salerno, take the exit at Vietri, next to the beach take the state highway following the directions for the Amalfi Coast until Minori. With the train: Railway station of Salerno, SITA bus or ferry. With the air plane: Capodichino Airport of Naples, SNM bus, SITA bus, Arriving at the centre of Minori at the end of the main path, take the stairs going up, and you have arrived to the building, go up three floors and you have arrived to the apartment. The apartment is approximately 200 meters from the pier quayside, from where the hydrofoils and ferries depart to Amalfi, Positano, Capri, Salerno. A few steps away there's the bus stop for Amalfi, Ravello, Positano, Salerno, and Sorrento. Some villages to visit heading towards Amalfi (with a cosy bus) to Ravello are; Amalfi, Furore, Praiano, Positano and Sorrento. Heading towards Salerno, Erchie, Cetara, Vietri, Pompei and Vesuvius. Don't miss the chance to enjoy a pastry at the famous pastry shop De Riso di Minori. For those who love to hike, we advise the country hike between the lemon terrace and the coastal panorama that go from Ravello reaching Minori. Another recommended hike is the route that alternates between stairs, terraces and a breathtaking view from Minori through the small fraction of Torre Fino arriving to Maiori.
