Clean & spacious apartment at a great location
We stayed here for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is spacious & clean. Has almost every thing you need. The view from the balcony is great and a wonderful place to spend the mornings & evenings. San Agnello is a quaint little town with small shops, restaurants & fresh produce stores. Apartment is within easy walking distance, about 15 to 20 mins. to Sorrento with many scenic portions. The apartment doesn’t have a washing machine & microwave. It also is on the fourth floor with no lift. In spite of that, we still highly recommend this place.
Great experience
Fulvio was very helpful, came to pick us up from bus stop. Was always happy to give us recommendations. The area was lovely, able to get around easily. Apartment was in a great spot, close to beach and other amenities. The view from the balcony was unexpected, we could see Bay of Naples. Really enjoyed our time there.
The Villa
Very comfortable home. We stayed on the third floor of a private home which one tour guide referred to as "The Villa". Easy walk to many restaurants, but a longer walk into Sorrento center - best to take the bus or call a taxi. However, with the two tours our group took, we were picked up at the Villa. Very convenient. The home was very comfortable and the steps to the third floor were easy to negotiate. It would benefit with a microwave. Best part - very large balcony with lots of seating overlooking the Bay.
Amazing property and a wonderful host
Fulvio really is a super host ! Nothing was too much trouble , he even went out of his way to drop us to the bus stop for our transfer back to Naples Airport .
The apartment is beautiful , complete with everything a family would need on holiday , fully equipped kitchen etc . The chrome cast stick on the TV was a lovely surprise not that we were watching TV much .
The apartment is opposite a bus stop which takes you into sites to however the train station is only a 7 min walk away and a short train ride into beautiful sorrento .
If you don’t have a car during your stay we did the amalfi coast by taking a ticket on the city tour bus from sorrento which leaves hourly and is also cheaper than the extortionate ferries .
There is a ferry across to Capri which is not to be missed and overall it was a fabulous stay - mainly because the apartment was so beautiful and thank you once again Fulvio for being a wonderful host and we hope to return soon
Absolutely loved the feel and comfort of the place.
The apartment is really comfortable and in a good position. Fulvio was a very helpful owner. Apartment is well equipped and clean. About a 25 min walk into Sorrento and 10 mins to supermarket and railway station. Will hopefully return in the future. Only minus point is the apartment is advertised with a washing machine which it does not have. But still can highly recommend.
Amazingly beautiful and relaxing apartment! Could not recommend more highly!
The view from this apartment literally took my breath away when I walked in! The area is lush—full of palm trees and other tropical-type vegetation. It is 20 minutes’ walk to the port, from which ferries to Positano, Amalfi, Capri, and Pompei come and go. It is also a 10-20-minute walk to lots of wonderful restaurants. There is a very large, furnished balcony with a view of the sea. I spent a lot of time reading on the balcony (although the spectacular view was a bit distracting;-) ).
Fulvio, the host, is fantastic host—kind, generous, and thoughtful. He had some wonderful (and huge!) tomatoes he had grow in his garden—as well as a sweet little bottle of limoncello and bottles of water and snacks—waiting for us upon arrival.
I would recommend this to any traveler seeking a luxury experience on the Amalfi Coast at a very reasonable price. This apartment is large, too, and could easily house 4 people—5 if one is willing to sleep on the sofa. The master bed was comfy and, and a second bedroom had 2 nice single beds. Both bedrooms had air conditioning, which was great!
For me, this home was/is like something out of a dream!
