About Ann Marie Heal
I am an artist and had been searching for years with my husband a place like this: gorgeous views, an abundance of nature and warm breezes year round. When we visited Vieques in July of 2010, we felt immediately that the island and its people had it all. The weather was perfect. The views were remarkable. There were horses seemingly everywhere. Hiking and kayaking, swimming and snorkeling kept us busy and contented. Soft breezes merged with the saturated colors of ocean and sky in colors I could hardly believe. I could only think that it was a paradise. I couldn't leave it after we became proud owners, so I spent a year creating a tropical garden - my tranquil oasis in Vieques.
Ann Marie Heal purchased this Villa in 2010
Why Ann Marie Heal chose Bravos de Boston
Island Dreemz took our breath away the first time we saw it, and it continues to amaze us with the sparkling ocean always before us and the lushness of our surroundings. It is situated on a cliff over the ocean and has a deck on three sides with translucent sliding glass doors, providing an unparalleled view of the sea and/or private garden from every room. With our wonderful South American art collection inside and an uninterrupted view of the water and our diverse garden outside, you feel like you are one with the ocean and sky. It makes us smile every day to know it is waiting for our return. We fell in love with Vieques after two days there in 2010 because of what the island did to our senses: the air, the life all around at the beaches and woods and mangroves reset our systems to feel better and enjoy where we were and what we were doing with an amazing clarity. The stars are bigger and brighter in Vieques: it has been ear-marked as an optimal observatory site because of the absence of light pollution. We saw the international space station in September as large and bright as a beacon!
What makes this Villa unique
The sound of the waves lapping the shore is soothing and tranquil, the breeze keeps you in constant comfort (with a split system AC in every room to guarantee perfect temperatures even in the middle of summer). You can walk to an intimate snorkel beach as well as all the amenities in Isabel II. Being at Island Dreemz makes worries melt away with each passing breath and breaking wave!

Great place to stay - house is very clean and property is beautiful along with gorgeous views!
Awesome Property and Host
Even though we were without electricity the first day, the manager worked with the electric company to resolve the problem and the host has refunded that day. This is a nice little town with lots of great places to eat and things to do nearby. The house itself was well apportioned, clean, and well maintained.
This house was the perfect modern beach house for my family of 7. Prime location, about 5 minutes from the ferry, near to grocery store (7 minutes) restaurants, bakery, spa. The house has two separate areas. The top floor and main area with two rooms, each with their own bathroom, kitchen, family and laundry room and an Amazing view with Cristal doors all over so you don’t miss anything but feel private at the same time. Loved waking up in the morning and look at the sea from my bed! the first floor that connects from outside stairs, were my parents stayed has Two rooms, 1 bath, kitchen, family and outside area with a hammock and again the amazing views. It was perfect because each had their own privacy, but we had breakfast lunch or dinner in the second floor. There is Also a lovely deck surrounding the second Floor. Loved watching all the horses in their daily walks. The horseback tour Colon, who I recommend even passes in front of the house and my parents took lots of pictures.
Thank you to Val house manager she was great and help us finding a car to rent. Every place I called were already full.
We will be back soon!
Beautiful home with sounds of waves crashing the surf
Comfortable home with beautiful amenities in Isabella II location, small beach cove in walking distance to beach, quiet location.
Very comfortable and stylish house.
Everybody had a enjoyable and comfortable summer vacation.
I have used Homeaway for years. This stay has been one of the best experiences I’ve had so far. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation. The Kitchen has the essentials to be able to cook everyday. The house was extremely clean and the gardens are beautifully kept. You’ll be surrounded by art and natural beauty, the view is enchanting. This is the perfect place to relax. Both the owner and manager are super friendly and accessible. It was a Great experience and I strongly recommend it. Note: We had teenagers and a grandmother in the group. I don’t recommend this place for people with small children due to height of balcony the pottery, and the art throughout the house. The owner called me prior to processing the reservation to verify if I had toddlers in the group and explained the terrace may be a safety risk but I want to emphasize it.
Enjoy the short walk to beach and town along the coast in minutes. Ask about
Jet Ski Rentals
Breathe in the air in Vieques once and it will beckon you to return again and again to fill your senses with relaxation and peace. Step from unblemished sands into a snorkeler's paradise on more than a dozen beaches, each with a different style. Dive from or just amble down the one-mile long scenic pier, or stay near the grounds and walk to the cove around the corner and swim or snorkel with abundant sea life on the local reef. See one of the wonders of the Caribbean at Bio Bay, our world-class bioluminescent lagoon. Warning: you may not want to leave the verdant tropical garden in the back yard filled with exotic flowers, mango and banana trees, agave and aloe plants, and the hypnotic smell of our 18-foot Ylang Ylang tree wafting its Chanel scent through your master bedroom and garden while everywhere you look the aquamarine ocean sparkles back at you. Choose any one of our delicious restaurants: try Conuco, Coqui Fire or the gourmet deli/cafe Buen Provecho in Isabel II (a ten-minute walk); for an island feast in Esperanza, try El Quenepo, Bili, Bananas or Tradewinds on the Caribbean. Walk to town for a friendly low-key outdoor bar and patio. Tour the mangroves and see if you can find our amazing manatees. Bring a camera: you won't want to miss the chance to show off your photos of herds of wild Paso Fino horses in our fields and on the beaches when you return home.
