The Farm house cottage was just as described. Everything was absolutely wonderful. So comfortable and cozy for our 4 member family. It had everything we needed for our 8 day stay plus more! We hope to return to Jeannette and Stephen’s farm house cottage in the future when we return to visit with local family and friends. Highly recommend!
Quiet retreat after Ashland adventures...
I stayed with my daughter and son (12 and 10) in Steve and Jeanette's Farmhouse Cottage for 4 days recently. We were in the area to watch a couple of OSF performances and could not have found a better place to call "home" for that time. The cottage had everything we needed to be absolutely comfortable with the added bonus of dogs, cats, horses and farm fresh eggs! It was easy to make meals at home and coming and going from Ashland was a straight shot of 5 minutes or so. It was nice to "retire" to the country after plays, shopping, escape rooms, hikes, etc. Sunsets were gorgeous and the fountains made for a gentle, relaxing soundscape. Steve and Jeanette were great hosts, available as needed and otherwise happy to let us feel we were alone on the property. The air condition both up and downstairs worked like a dream and was especially appreciated after a day hiking in 90 degree weather. We'll definitely look to see if the cottage is available on future stays in the area!
Quiet country refuge
We needed a quiet place to stay and unwind after days of socializing with friends and family. While we are extroverted to some extent, we need our introverted time to recharge. Stephen and Jeanette’s cottage provided the perfect spot. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and well stocked, with space for our two young kiddos to play when it was too hot in the middle of the day to venture outside. We were welcomed to the farm like we were family, and our kids absolutely loved the space outside as well. We were left to ourselves if we wanted, but Stephen and Jeanette were incredibly warm and hospitable when we ventured out for company. We were in the Rogue Valley for my husband’s high school reunion and to visit family, and the farm was located quite conveniently between Ashland and Medford. If you need the bustle of a crowd, a TV and a pool, this is not the place for you. If you need the quiet of the country, a cozy place like home and lots of fresh air and serenity, this is most definitely the place for you. We will certainly be back!!
Peaceful, beautiful place to stay! Kind, gracious hosts. Comfortable, clean, spacious and fun! Thank you!!
This efficient cottage had everything we needed. It was a quiet and peaceful location, too.
This space was lovely the only unfortunate part was that we were too busy to spend more than just sleeping at the cottage.
Guests were respectful of house rules and left our cottage in great shape.
