Our stay in Florence was fantastic. The apartment is 3 minutes away from the Duomo, clean, big and perfect for small groups.
Antonia was the perfect host! She's really kind and she was always available. Thank you so much for the library and Il Santino, the best advices ever! We highly recommend this apartment.
Thank you for everything Antonia!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florence and received a warm welcome when we arrived, with lots of local tips and dinner suggestions. The space was beautiful and was in a relatively central location. Access to a washing machine was much appreciated! Slight downsides however included poor ventilation in the sleeping area (it was very stuffy at night) and a large amount of street noise each morning between 4-6am, making it difficult to get a good night sleep.
This is an excellent choice for a stay in Florence! The apartment's location is right in the center of the old town and we walked everywhere. It is in an unique building that is more beautiful than reflected in the photos and puts y right in the atmosphere of Florence. It a spacious appartement for five. Very clean and nicely decorated. Antonia waited for us and was very helpful with lots of tourist information. She even prepared a map in Hebrew for us. We would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Floreence and we hope to return. Thank you Antonia.
Antonia’s loft apartment is beautiful. The apartment was clean. The kitchen had adequate utensils and dishes. There was always hot water and the shower stall was small, but adequate. Bring your own face cloth if you use one. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
The location is amazing. You are a couple of blocks from the Bargello museum and then another minute to Palazzo Signoria, the Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio. You walk by the Duomo on the way from the train station (a 15 minute walk). So you really are in the centre of everything. There is a Conad, about 5 minutes away. Again as far is the Mercato San Ambrogio, a great place for fresh produce.
The only challenge for this apartment is the 84 steps up to the apartment, half of which are on the very grand staircase you see in the pictures.
Antonia was responsive to my emails, and was very helpful upon our arrival and during our stay. She lives next door.
I highly recommend staying at Antonia’s apartment!
This is a wonderful place in a great location in the historic part of town. There are so many places to see and visit within a few blocks. Antonia makes you feel right at home and is a very gracious hostess with lots of helpful information and tips for a visit to Florence. The place has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The only thing which you need to consider in staying here is the number of steps to the place, but that is part of historic Florence. Otherwise I do not think you can find a nicer place to stay in Florence.
My husband and I just came back from Europe and we absolutely loved this apartment. It's very well located, right next to everything but not on a busy street. The ceiling is high and window is huge, it lt lets a lot of light in and is very picturesque. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking - we had made a few breakfasts there. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Antonia is an amazing host. She waited for us until 1am because a flight was delayed and was very helpful in recommending good places to eat and see. I could go on and on but it makes me sad that i am not there now. :)

It’s hard to choose among the many cultural or leisure activities available in Florence, and the numberless charming places you’ll be able to discover staying in our flat right in the middle of this city, that is a work of art in itself, included in the UNESCO World Heritage. You’ll be not just among monuments, churches, palaces, but also cinemas and theaters, discos, pubs, and - last but not least - close to several very good Tuscan traditional, ethnic or haute cuisine restaurants.
Allow us just to suggest a visit to the nearby Biblioteca delle Oblate (Via dell’Oriuolo 26, from Monday to Friday 8.30 – 18.30, Saturday 8.30 – 13.30, tel. + 39 055261652) the largest City Public Library recently opened in a former convent of wonderful architectural structure, from which you will also able to enjoy one of the finest views over the city. It has Internet Points, Reading Rooms, a section for International Press, and Children Spaces.
