In a private, calm and green alley, pretty villa of one floor for 6 to 8 people. Exceptional panoramic view (south-west) over the sea, the “Chateau” hill, the town and, far away, the mountains. Nice garden planted with trees round a NEW swimming pool. It is fitted with swim in counter-current and hydro massage built-in and surrounded by a wooden beach and terraces, giving the choice between sun - tanning or shadow refreshing.

Don't hesitate to book this lovely villa. Tastefully decorated it has all you need. A large balcony allows views across the harbour and the port. The villa is located on a street with other properties that has gated security access by key remote . Car parking is off road next to the house. There is no noise from surrounding properties or from external traffic which is surprising for a large city like Nice. Grocery shopping is just 1 minute away by car and a large Carrefour is just 5 minutes way. Many restaurants and other entertainment are all close by. We were met on our arrival and departure by the owners representative who was totally helpful and available at other times if required. Communication with the owner is first class and the service he provides cannot be faulted. There is just one complaint....we should have stayed longer! We will return if we visit Nice again.
I have been holidaying in rented properties in Europe for many years and this was probably the best of all the places I've stayed.
The house is stunning, incredibly well equipped, nicely decorated and furnished and with wonderful views. The location is fantastic as the villa is about a 15 minute walk from the port and old town but in a quiet and safe neighbourhood.
The owner went out of his way to provide very detailed information about the house and communication was exemplary both before and during our stay.
This property really does have the "wow factor" and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it - you won't want to leave!
"We spent two weeks in Villa L''Herm in July 2012 (wk 28 and 29). We rented a car from airport and it immediately felt safe, when we noticed that Allee de la Palmiere is behind a gate. We were given the code to open it when we arrived. Houda and Philippe live next door so we were given the keys and instructions and Tour de Villa at once. And we fell in love with the villa really. The view is wonderful to Vieux Port, The Chateau Hill, Promenad des Anglais , airport and the city towards MAMAC. The house is like a home, full of small details all around. I particularly liked the library: I was able of study the history and geography of France. WiFi works without problem. TV sets, DVD and radio were also nice. Kitchen is good, we ate either on terrass or in the kitchen. It was never too hot at night because there are numerous electrical coolers in the house. I liked the pool, the water was not too warm (like neighbour Helmut''s, very nice neighbour though). Second week we had four children as our guests and they loved the pool, and it was also safe because it is only 120cm deep. We could easily walk to Vieux Ville, only 20 min. The car is easy to park either on the allele or in the yard. Washing machines worked as they should. Totally perfect. We felt privileged to live there! My mother, now 77 y, planned to rent L''Herm with couple of her lady friends. She liked the 1 floor arrangement, no stairs, except the cellar of course."
Une très belle villa, très bien située. Du balcon, vue sur la baie des Anges et centre ville. Villa très bien equipée, belle piscine sous les palmiers. Les vélos permettent l'accès à la plage et centre ville à moins de dix minutes. Tous les avantages de Nice dans un endroit très calme. Une villa où on a envie de revenir.
When we found the house, we had chosen it, because it is so near the city. When we arrived we knew that it is one of a kind. the house has everything you need and much more. the housemanager Delphine was very helpfull and incredible charming and provided us with all information we needed. in the house and at the pool, with that incredible view, we found everything you would need to live there forever.
what bigger compliment can one make than return and we will be here again next summer. thanks for having us!!
Lovely large villa with pool and gorgeous views over Nice. Very comfortable accommodation, with all the "extras" a family could need (we were 3 generations). The owner and his local agent went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Fully recommended, top marks.

The Old City within 1.500 meters : its Cathedral and its chapels, the Lascaris Palate, typical lanes, odorous trade and restaurants of Nice cooking, the flower market, etc. The Hill of the Castle to 1.200 m : its splendid panoramic views, its cascade, its historical cemetery, nice walks in a landscape full of History. The Port (1 km) and the Promenade des Anglais (1.800 m), universally known, the Masséna museum. The Hill of CIMIEZ, greek and roman birthplace of the city, its arenas, the archeological site and its museum, the Monastery and its gardens, the Matisse museum. The city and its culture. A coast and a backcountry full of discoveries.
