|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
Forget about traffic jams and public transport. You are already there : take a walk to wherever you fancy...It will take you 10 minutes to Notre-Dame, even less to the Sainte Chapelle or the Louvre, maybe 15 minutes to Ile Saint Louis...and no time at all to feel and enjoy the "rive gauche" atmosphere or treat yourself to an old movie. If you feel ready for adventures beyond the Quartier Latin, prepare yourself for a 20 minute walk to the Marais, possibly 40 minutes to the Champs-Elysées...Enjoy your stay !
Spent 3 nights over New Year. Weather was very cold, but the apartment was very warm and welcoming. It is in an excellent location from which many sights are within walking distance. In the immediate vicinity are restaurants, cafes, take seats and a good supermarket.
The flat itself has all you need, including decent kitchen facilities a good bathroom, TV, comfortable seating etc. The only point to be aware of is that the bedroom area is very low and up some stairs that need to be carefully negotiated. As a 65 year old I had no difficulty with it, but those with mobility issues will struggle.
Luc was a helpful owner who speaks excellent English.
All in all a perfect little apartment for us.
We had a great visit to Paris! The apartment was everything promised and also had a "little library" with a variety of books. Luc was a perfect host. The location is fantastic and we were able to walk to any available sight. The perfect way for us to experience Paris.
Luc was an amazing host, and the apartment has absolutely everything you need. Definitely the highlight of our trip. We loved the location of the apartment, close to Notre Dame, Sein river for dinners, TGV station and in the hustle and bustle of the streets which created an awesome atmosphere. Luc went out of his way to assist us in one or two of our travel arrangements, which we really valued.
We will definitely stay there again.
The apartment was right in the heart of Paris, easy to get anywhere. Luc met us at the apartment and was very accommodating to our early departure and late arrival! A real gem in the City of Lights!
Great location and amazing owners! We were greeted on arrival and was invited for coffee and tips for the city. The apartment was perfect for us and in a fabulous location. I would come back and stay here in a heartbeat!
I just returned from an 8 night stay at this perfect pied a terre in the St. Germain neighborhood. It was even more comfortable and user friendly than I had expected from the photos and reviews. The design and decor has been well thought out to be both practical and elegant with attractive and comfortable furniture. Floor to ceiling drapes that can shut out all light at night, lovely black slate bathroom and shower with big fluffy towels, good quality pans in a modern corner kitchen, comfortable mattress/bed and feather pillows, great lamps and reading lights. I was concerned that descending the loft during the night could be a problem. But was pleasantly surprised that although it is tight, I was able to sit up and slide over to the solidly and beautifully built wooden staircase that had a strong rod iron railing. So even being a bit sleepy it was a very safe descent. Luc and Florence could not have been more helpful and thoughtful, answering questions and anticipating my needs. Within a few blocks you have dozens of restaurants, clothing stores, galleries, a supermarket, movies (including one that was showing original classic american movies) and of course cafes and bars. As a woman, alone, I felt safe walking day or night, using the main metro line #4 which has a stop at the Odeon, a five minute walk from the apartment. Just a last remark, being in a lively neighborhood, and overlooking the street, the nights, especially on weekends are not completely calm. I could hear people talking along the street. It was not a problem but something to consider when choosing to be in the heart of Parisian life. That said, if I could have, I would have stayed there indefinitely! Thank You, Luc and Florence, for a memorable Paris visit!
(Text automatically translated) You are really in the heart of Paris and it is easy to reach many monuments by very pleasant walks. But the metro Saint-Michel and Odeon are both less than 100m and bus lines nearby are missing pas.En addition, the Saint Michel RER station gives you direct access to Roissy Charles de Gaulle as Orly.
(Text automatically translated) The rue des Grands Augustins is packed with great restaurants (some starred!) Lapérouse to Jacques Cagna through Ze Kitchen, Guy Savoy, Le Louis XIII and Roger the Frog. An excellent dinner before strolling with a smile, in the delightful maze of streets and alleys of the neighborhood magical.
