Ideal and EXCELLENT SEAFRONT location with lovely unobstructed SEAVIEWS of Mellieha Bay, only 10 metres away from the seashore (which is right across the street), and less than 2 minutes walk from the largest sandy beach of Malta - This apartment enjoys an UNBEATABLE SEAFRONT LOCATION IDEAL FOR UNWINDING AND PERFECT FOR RELAXATION. Inspite of its EXCELLENT SEAFRONT position, the apartment is very reasonably priced. Mellieha Bay has the longest and the best sandy beach in Malta, 1.5 km long. Apartment has a Front Terrace/Balcony with seaviews. This Terrace/Balcony has an area of 10 square metres and also outdoor furniture where you can eat or simply relax and soak up the sun, whilst listening to the lapping of the waves and enjoying the seaviews that are right on your doorstep. Alternatively you could swim in the bay that is right across a narrow street from the apartment, as can be seen in the photos. Besides enjoying a most desirable SEAFRONT location, this apartment is clean, modern, well equipped and indeed very tastefully decorated with a new kitchen complete with luxurious granite worktops and quality stainless steel appliances. Our clients keep coming to this apartment year after year.
I have always lived in Malta and my parents have been in the holiday rental accommodation business before me. But since my Dad was growing old, I gladly took over the reservation business myself about 12 years ago. All my life, I have grown up mingling with tourists who frequented my Dad's seafront holiday apartments and many times he brought them over to our house for a family dinner, as most of our clients ended up becoming his friends too. I also remember him taking his clients to see interesting historical places in Malta, and I accompanied him on many of these tours. So I was happy to take over the business myself when the time was ripe.
My father passed down this unique seafront land to myself and my 2 brothers upon his retirement. I have frequented Mellieha Bay
myself many, many times, both as a child and as a grown-up. I have spend many summers in my seafront apartment enjoying boat rides with my friends in Mellieha Bay, and Bar-B-Qs in the evenings. It is my favourite place to be if I am in need of relaxation and if I need to forget about all my cares in life. The local Maltese people also think that my apartment boasts of the best location in all of Mellieha Bay and I have had many repeat clients in the past, both Maltese and foreigners alike. Who would not like to be right on the sea water's edge, always listening to the lapping of the sea waves against the shoreline, whilst basking in the sun. In Malta, we get 300 days of sunshine in a year so the chances of getting good weather during your holiday are very high. When I go back to my winter house at the end of summer, I must admit that it takes me 2 months to get over not being in my seafront apartment in Mellieha Bay.
I must admit that I am very happy to be the proud owner of such a unique apartment with outstanding, panoramic seaviews, situated right on the water's edge. The seafront terrace with its outdoor table and chairs, makes it such a desirable place. You can swim and sunbathe either in the bay across the street from the apartment, or else walk for less than 5 minutes to the largest natural sandy beach of Mellieha Bay (1.5 km long), and spend the day there, just lying in the sun or swimming in the crystal waters of the sandy beach. In winter, it is equally enjoyable, as one can take many interesting country walks to nearby places such as St. Agatha's Red Tower with its 360 degrees views over the islands of Gozo, Comino and Mellieha Bay. You can also walk for about 30 minutes to a nearby wood called 'L-Ahrax tal-Mellieha' which is ideal if you want to have a picnic under the trees. Other interesting walks would be to the Bay of Armier, or Ramla Bay, walking along the sandy beach and then along Maltese country side. One can also go up to Mellieha Village and proceed to Selmun Palace area which boasts of both country and seaviews. I have spend many interesting Sunday hikes at Selmun as a teenager. Mellieha is really one unique place. For those who want some night life, you can proceed to nearby Seabank Hotel, or the Mellieha Bay Hotel, for a night of animation and singing. Both hotels allow non-residents to enjoy in the fun. The Seabank Hotel also offers Spa facilities, and has both large outdoor pools and indoor pools, which would let you use them for a small fee, if you prefer swimming in a pool rather than the sea.
Josette was very helpful in picking us up and taking us to the airport. There were many pamphlets and information available for us to look at. The apartment had a great location and a beautiful front deck looking over the bay with great breezes coming through. It is located very close to the bus stop making it easy for you to get around. Would suggest going to Bouquet Garni for dinner....great service, great food and reasonably priced. Loved it and would definitely recommend for friends and others looking for a nice and reasonably priced place. The only issue we had was we could not find any extra trash bags only the 1 in the can originally and could have used another, but that is a minor issue and would not affect our decision to stay again

A great base from which to relax, unwind and explore Malta. The apartments are in Mellieha in the north of of the island and are just 10 steps from the sea and a further five minute walk to one of the largest sandy beaches in Malta.
We stayed in Flat 1 which was clean, spacious and well stocked with everything we needed for a fortnight's stay with our two children.
The balcony at the front of the apartment overlooks a pretty swimming area which is popular with the local Maltese holidaymakers. The balcony is equipped with a table and chairs so we spent many occasions dining there. It enjoys cool shade during the first half of the day and by mid-afternoon it's under full sunshine.
To the front of the property there is a good size kitchen, dining area and living area with a storage room and extra small bathroom. Further back are two bedrooms, with double and twin beds and plenty of storage space. Along the corridor is a family bathroom with a shower unit. A washing machine is just outside the bathroom and to the rear of the apartment, another small balcony is available to hang holiday washing in the morning sunshine. There is also an extra moveable bed.
Shops, supermarkets and restaurants are all very close by, and the local fruit and vegetable seller passes every day with fresh produce (as does the doughnut man!)
The apartment's owners are very helpful and friendly but entirely unintrusive. The apartment is highly recommended for families who want a relaxing, tranquil place to stay, even at the height of the season.
Recommended nearby places to visit with children:
* Ghadira Bay (5-minute walk from apartment). Lovely sandy beach with shallow waters for safe swimming
* Mellieha Church and Sanctuary (15 minute walk up the hill). Has fountains outside in which the children can splash about, and a playground nearby with a cafe and amazing views
* Blue Lagoon, Comino (15 minutes by boat). Stunning turquoise waters for swimming and snorkeling
* Popeye Village (5 minute drive). Located in pretty Anchor Bay, this former film set now serves as a fun park for youngsters
* Gozo, especially Ramla Bay (a 20 minute ferry-ride from nearby Cirkewwa to Malta's more rural sister island)
* Mdina (20 minute drive). A beautiful fortified city in the centre of the island. Take the children for cakes at Fontanella and to make Maltese friends in the large playground afterwards
A very spacious and well equipped apartment with the sea so close, you literally walk across the road and start swimming. Many local Maltese holiday here too, so it's the real thing, which we loved. Several bars, restaurants and shops just around the corner. Ideal too, for touring the beautiful beaches in the north and Gozo and Comino. Owner, friendly and flexible. Would definitely go back.

Apartament położony w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji przy jednej z największych plaż (ok 300m do przejścia i jest się na plaży) na Malcie. Dla 4 osób w sam raz (2 pokoje dla dwóch osób + balkon z dobrym widokiem na którym 4 osoby się pomieszczą).
Apartament jest dobrze wyposażony. Duży plus za bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem

Follow directions for Mellieha Bay, North of Malta. 45 minutes drive away from MALTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
Malta is the ideal place for tourists who want to get away from the cold climate and enjoy our mild winters and warm summers. Restaurants, Tunnara Fishing Museum, Ghadira Bird Reserve and St. Agatha's Tower with views of the islands of Comino & Gozo are all within easy walking distance. World War II Shelters, Mellieha Parish Church, Sanctuary and Grotto of Our Lady up in Mellieha Village also worth a visit. Boat Trips to nearby Comino Island, where one can swim in the lovely crystal clear turquoise waters of the Blue Lagoon, are available close by. The Gozo Ferry which takes you to our sister island, Gozo, is less than 10 minutes drive away. Water Sports available in the summer. Mellieha Bay & nearby Selmun Area is also ideal for hiking/walking in spring/autumn/winter. Popeye Village, which houses a fun park for children and a film set from the 1980 film Popeye starring Robin Williams, is also close by at nearby Anchor Bay and this venue should please both children and adults alike. Puppet & Animation Shows are held at Popeye Village, and Santa's Toy Town during the Christmas Season is a must see. Games Room, Bowling, Singers, Pubs and Internet Cafes available in nearby Hotels.
