"A clean, well equiped chalet which was a great place for a ski holiday. In a quiet location with access on and off the slopes either by bus to the main lift area or a ski run down to another lift. Beautiful views across the valley to the mountains.Easy parking right by the chalet.Owners and key-holder were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this chalet"

"We stayed in the Chalet ...

  • 5 of 5

"We stayed in the Chalet for 3 weeks during Xmas and new year. As a party of 10 (6 adults, 4 teenagers) we had plenty of room with all the kids staying in the basement room.

The chalet is very well equiped and clean.

The location is in the old town on bend 20, during good snow conditions you can ski to bend 20 down the Huez ski run, otherwise you can easily use the slope that runs through the middle of the old town from the Signal and walk 10 minutes down hill.

In the mornings there is a bus at the end of the road that stops at Les Bergers and the DMC.

The view is spectacular, looking down the mountain to Bourg with views of Signal de L'Homme and Maronne.

The old town has excellent night life, with the Yeti for Apres ski, the Igloo and Smithy's for late entertainment. Edelweiss is superb for food and our favourite Le Sporting just 15 minutes walk away - near the Ice rink.

There is parking directly opposite the chalet and the road is cleared after heavy snow falls.

I would definitley recommend this chalet for the ski season and for anyone interested in cycling as it is perfectly located to watch an ascent of the 21 bends !!!"

Semaine bleue et chalet super

  • 4 of 5
