We are avid travellers who have enjoyed the benefits of VRBO, and the comfort of staying in a home versus a hotel. We live in and love this home, and we are sure you will too. We custom designed it from top to bottom with a gut-job renovation that started in 2015 and finished in 2016. You might notice that there is limited rental availability in our calendar - that is because we only rent our property out during the times we are able to travel ourselves.
Meg purchased this House in 2015
Why Meg chose Old Toronto
This home is both a beautiful home base for adults in town for cultural activities, leisure or work and also a comfortable family home that can easily host families with small children. The house is a short walk to downtown shopping, dining and theatre and it’s close to several good playgrounds and the wonderful Riverdale Farm. It’s got something for everyone.
What makes this House unique
The peace and quiet of this home, with the added benefit of being a centrally located, large, downtown home in excellent condition, make this property wonderful. Our favourites include our use of large windows, a large kitchen with room for many to sit, and a third floor master retreat with french doors to a private, large deck, as well as a large master bath.

Beautiful place by the city
Meg’s place was gorgeous and the perfect size for my group of 6. We were greeted and showed around by Yolly who was very helpful and answered all of our questions. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely book here again for future trips. It was surrounded by a cute neighborhood with a number of shops and an easy 10 minutes drive to downtown. All in all we loved our stay!
Meg’s home and hospitality helped to make our a Women’s Getaway everything we had hoped for and more! Meg was very responsive to all of my questions prior to arrival. The house was immaculate. Many happy hours were spent visiting, with a glass of wine in hand, on the two patios, or curled up with a book on the couch watching the world go by. I would recommend this home to anyone- families, groups of friends, etc. It was an absolutely fantastic home base for exploring an amazing city!
This is one of the nicest VRBO's we've stayed in. There were six of us so there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen is fully equipped and we used their grill. We didn't have a car but between walking, the bus and subway, it was easy to get around. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet and the owners were so accomodating. Don't miss the restaurant Tilted Dog and make sure you order the pie for dessert. Area stores and coffee shops are fun especially Rocket Fuel.
Thanks Miriam! We’re so glad you liked our house so much, especially since you have stayed in other VRBOs and have a basis for comparison. Have a great summer, Meg
Our stay in this beautiful Victorian townhome was great. It was a family vacation and everyone loved the place. The owners were very sweet to prepare a manual for us - it was very helpful as this was our first time in Toronto. The home was clean, updated and and cozy. Loved a subtle Flamingo theme throughout the house! The owners were responsive at all times and the check in and out process was easy. The location was pretty convenient - walking distance to the city center. We loved the outdoor patio with chairs upstairs off the masters bedroom and the outdoor enclosed area downstairs with the grill. 5-stars to everything! Thank you to Meg & Family for making our stay so pleasant. The Lujan Family (U.S.)
Excellent stay, welcoming owners!
Our family of four enjoyed our stay in this lovely and spacious home. We enjoyed our time in Toronto and felt very much at home. The amenities provided were much appreciated and we did not lack any creature comforts. Meg was wonderful and happily answered all of our questions promptly. Yolly was very kind and helpful...she was always gracious and flexible with her time. (After more than a 5 hour delay into Toronto, she was happy to great us as we arrived after midnight.) We found the area easy to manage and there were good eats to be found all around the city. We would not hesitate to stay here again!
