We (Angela & Christoph) are a small family business. We rent out to tourist and business guests for some years now. It's always fun to meet new people and listen to their stories.
It's perfect located for a city trip, as the public traffic connection can't be better. If I would rent an apartment in another city I would like to have it the same way.
Angela and Christoph were amazing hosts for this property - they responded to all our queries promptly before we arrived and provided local maps, restaurant suggestions and even advice for how to find the apartment from the airport.
The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable - all the amenities functioned perfectly and were as listed and shown in the photos. The living room was a great space to sit down and go through our itinerary for each day and then successfully collapse on the sofa after each day's excursions (in fact it was so comfortable that I fell asleep on it!). All home comforts you could want were provided, down to slippers and blankets. From a practical point of view, there is a good kitchen stocked with plenty of crockery pots and pans (even some basic spices), the walk-in wardrobe has plenty of space for all clothes and coats and there's even a washing machine and drying rack in case you want to pack light for your trip. The bathroom was large and decorated in a modern style - it felt like being in a really nice hotel!
The heating functioned well when we needed it and the apartment is in a building block that is generally quite quiet, so noise isn't an issue. The bed was really comfortable too, we slept well throughout our stay! The distance from the apartment to the centre of the old town is about 20-25min walk and there is a metro station at the end of the road. On the walk towards the city centre, you will find various restaurants and coffee shops within about 5-10mins walk - we were even able to find a close post office to send out our postcards.
All in all, it's a great holiday apartment and excellent value for money. Many thanks for letting us stay there and all the hospitality!
We spent 7 nights in Vienna as guests of the Lipinskys. The Lipinksys--Angela and Christoph--deliver the utmost in guest service. They are attentive, responsive, extremely warm, gracious, and take great pride in their accommodations. They arranged for us to be picked up at the airport and dropped off at the apartment with a driver who is just as friendly and attentive as they are.
We initially stayed in one of their apartments situated a couple of U-Bahn stops from District 1 with two grocery stores within a block or so. This apartment was extremely clean, comfortable, convenient and nicely appointed with a renovated bathroom out of Architectural Digest. Unfortunately, the front door lock was not working properly. So, on the first day of our stay, Angela whipped into action to deal with this mini-crisis. She came immediately to try to repair it. When this was not possible, she arranged to move us to another apartment owned by the family that luckily happened to be available. Angela spent the day cleaning the new accommodation, picked us up and delivered us there. This apartment was bigger than the one we had originally booked with an eat-in kitchen and was within walking distance of district 1. (We paid no additional amount for the larger apartment.) It also was clean, well-maintained and comfortably appointed. (Both were elevator buildings, which was important to me because I had knee problems at the time.)
I highly recommend the Lipinskys and their properties. During our booking and before our arrival, Christoph responded to our email inquiries immediately with detailed information, After our arrival, Angela provided the most excellent guest service and handled our mini-crisis and responded to subsequent questions during our stay with a friendly smile and unfailing graciousness. We felt extremely comfortable and well taken care of with the Lipinskys--all for a reasonable price.
The apartment was clean, well equipped. Its location is perfect. There are supermarkets nearby. It is 2 steps from the subway and within walking distance to the cathedral and the city center. Christoph was there to welcome us and answer our questios.
We could not ask for more. It was perfect

You can easily reach our apartment via car, train or plain. We can also check an airport transfer for you.
The historical city centre of Vienna with all well-known sights can easily be reached by walking (5 min)! But also the subway-station (Line:U1 Station: Nestroyplatz)is located next to the house. That subway will take you to Stephansplatz in only 3 minutes and makes it quite easy for you to reach some of the most well known sites like the opera, Karlschurch or Naschmarkt quite fast.
Just around (20-40 metres) you can find restaurants, cafe's, a bakery, supermarkets and lots of other shops. Also a bank with cash dispenser (ATM) can be found just across the street.
For all of you who want to enjoy the night-life , we could recommend the 'Bermuda Triangle' at the 'Schwedenplatz'. It's only 10 minutes to walk there from the apartment and there are bars with live music and discos as well as exotic and Viennese restaurants were you can sit down, have a glass of vine and let the day pass again.
Since last summer we have a bike renting station in front of the house. Vienna got well developed cycling tracks and it's a lot of fun to explore a new city by biking.
