The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 reception rooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and large shaded garden.

Complete calm as all rooms overlook the private courtyard. The building is located in the city centre, between Saint-Didier and Places des Corps-Saints.


3 bedrooms, 1,300 sq. ft. (130m2) total plus 970 sq. ft. (90m2) shaded courtyard.

Original stonework walls and marble flooring, original ceilings with timbers.

Recent, high-quality renovation. Official French quality certification: 4 stars (Clévacances)

Two rooms in the main house and a separate bedroom at the bottom of the courtyard, plus a sofa bed in the library (ground floor).

Summer kitchen, fully equipped (refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.) and table / chairs to enjoy the outdoors.


Completely independent from the apartment and rented separately. Renovated in 2013. Kitchen, shower room and toilet. Double bed than converts to sofa for daytime use.

Fully equipped with: fridge / freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso, wifi, linen (sheets and towels).

Ideally located in the city center while being extremely quiet since all the rooms overlook the private courtyard.

Many quality shops are found in the same street (butcher, greengrocer, chocolate, flowers and restaurants) and Les Halles indoor market is a 5 minute walk. Carrefour Market supermarket (rue de la République) is also nearby.

A car is not needed to visit Avignon as all main sites can be visited while walking in the city. If you do have a car, two public car parks are 5 minutes walk away (parking Jean-Jaurès, parking des Halles).

All the ingredients are here for a magical stay in the old Avignon while you enjoy the art of living in Provence.

Having grown up in Avignon, I am very keen to preserve the historical legacy of the town. Through the renovation of this beautiful flat in the centre of town and using it as a holiday let, I hope to give visitors an authentic feel for this beautiful and unique town.

I renovated the apartment by keeping the original features of the building: large stones, ceilings with beams, plants from the region, marbled floors...

The central location is key to enjoying Avignon, as a car is not needed to explore the town. The apartment is located in a vibrant neighbourhood, and restaurants, bars, cinemas, theatres and museums are a couple of minutes walk away.

The fully equipped kitchen and large dining room and outdoor mean you can make the best of the local produce: shop fresh vegetables and cook them yourself in an idyllic setting.

Wonderful apartment with a private courtyard!

We were two families traveling together in France and Spain, and we choose this apartment for our 5 night stay in Provence. We couldn't have been happier. The apartment's location is perfect, right near the center of Avignon. There are cafes, restaurants and shopping right outside the door. The apartment itself is beautiful and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our favorite part, however, may have been the private garden space which provided a wonderful setting for meals and afternoon wine. We would love to stay here again, and we highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Avignon.

Beautiful rental in perfect location!

We enjoyed staying at this apartment during a recent 5 day visit to Avignon. The guest space was used by our daughter and new son-in-law, which gave them some privacy. The main unit was so beautiful, stone walls, beamed ceilings, comfortable furniture. It was great to have the garden space because we used it for several meals, and for sitting our with a glass of wine after a busy day. I would be happy to recommend this property to a friend or relative and would be happy to return for another visit myself!

Perfect home in Avignon

This is an amazing property in the perfect Avignon neighborhood. The apartment is gorgeous with ample space which allows for room and privacy for a group or family traveling together. We had 4 adults and 1 child and the house was more than spacious enough for us all. The kitchen is a delight to cook in. The courtyard is secluded and charming. The bedrooms and baths are perfectly laid out to allow for privacy and ease of use. Elisabeth was a responsive hostess. We lacked for nothing in this beautiful home. The neighborhood was also perfect with a boulangerie, a boucherie, an epicerie and several good restaurants within a few blocks. It's also close to Les Halles and easy walking distance to the more central tourist attractions. I would stay here again anytime!

Central Avignon Gem

We loved staying in this apartment. Because it is arranged on two floors, the living space is much larger than one would normally get. Each room had real character and it was very well equipped. We were not able to enjoy the beautiful courtyard garden because we were visiting in November but it must be simply wonderful to have this during the summer months. The location is fabulous - right in the middle of the old town yet very quiet. We would love to return.

Look no further!!

The flat was absolutely delightful!! My family and au pair stayed here for the month of June and we could not have found a more beautiful spot.

The location is central but you can't hear a peep from the street. The courtyard is large and would find the girls blowing bubbles, playing soccer or just having a picnic. There is always a place to find shade which was a must on the hot summer days.

The area at the back of the courtyard offers privacy if you need the option. It's also very helpful to have the dishwasher a few feet from your outdoor eating area.

The interior is full of charm and spacious enough to accomodate many people without feeling cramped.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone! Your visit to Avignon will be a dream come true when you stay here....

Beautiful retreat in a wonderful place.

This place was everything as described. I cannot believe how very beautiful the surroundings were and how quiet. The location is very very good in a wonderful town. Even the sounds of the school children in the daytime was pleasant. The church bells as they rang were musical.

The property was very well cared for and it is obvious that this owner knows what they are doing. We were met by the staff taking care of the apartment and she showed us around. I would recommend investing in a place of this quality for your next time in Avignon. It is worth the price.

We had an unusual dietary issue with our crowd, so it was very helpful to have a place where you felt good cooking. Eating in the courtyard felt like a banquet. We did spend some time on the road traveling to adjacent towns (so much to see close by - this location was a great choice). I would come back and spend more time just staying in one place in future visits. The guides and instructions were well written and helpful. We loved Les Halles market, a place no one should miss.

About the only improvement I could suggest would be a stair-rail on the stairs as we had one elderly traveler with us who felt a bit wobbly on steps. We appreciated the expresso machine and the great stove. I would recommend this place to my family and will certainly be back when we come back to southern France.
