Location, location, location!

Well, Michael and Estelle, I've been back in the real world for a week now and I don't like it at all - oh to be still in Almunecar. I got to know the town and surrounding area well and your house on the top line at Fuentes is just about perfection - location, location, location! You are near enough to the town's attractions and its beaces but also far enough away to enjoy plenty of peace and quiet. And I for one would never grow tired of the spectacular 360 degree views to be enjoyed from the balconies and sun terrace you have. My grandkids loved their week there, especially the pool a short hop from the front door, and what was so reassuring was how safe the whole place was for them. All being well I will be back, the same time next year will be the plan.Thanks.

La casa tiene todo tipo de comodidades para una familia. Muy bonita y acogedora! Aunque esté retirada de la playa, es una urbanización tranquila para descansar y desconectar. No obstante, a pocos minutos se llega a playas maravillosas.

Our stay in Fuentes, Almunecar - August 2014

A beautiful, hill top setting with fantastic views. The house was well maintained and spacious for the 4 of us and in the heat of the Summer the A.C was welcome! Our teenage girls loved the pools and the freedom to come and go. We visited many close beaches and particularly enjoyed snorkelling. It's possible to walk but as it's very steep the walk not recommended in the middle of August! So a car is advised. Almunecar is an interesting town which we had fun exploring as are the surrounding mountains and coast line. Very relaxing and thoroughly recommended!

"joli location ,calme ,mais besoin d''un vehicule pour tout faire car loin de la plage , loin commerce etc , en faite sur une colline meme pour ceux qui aiment marcher comme moi ,mission impossible!!!!!sinon region tres agreable , plage de cailloux moins classe !!!!"

"Appartement bien équipé, propre et confortable, dans résidence récente de qualité selon les normes locales en vigueur. Beau panorama à 360° (montagne et mer) depuis le balcon terrasse sur le toit. Lors de notre séjour malheureusement pluvieux, la TV satellite n'offrait pas le bouquet de chaines promis. Manquent un aspirateur de même qu'un étendoir à linge déplaçable notamment en cas de mauvaise météo. Isolation phonique moyenne. Nous sommes globalement satisfaits de notre séjour."
