Very Comfortable Home in a Great Location
We spent a month here and felt right at home. It is spacious, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the farmer's market is held across the street each Friday, so cooking is easy-but so is the 1 block walk to the square for great restaurants. The hiking trails are also a block away, so the location is perfect. The cute backyard is private and offers sun and shade, good for any season, and it has a beautiful view of the western hills. Denise is easy to work with and we would love to come back again.
Our Home for the Holidays!
My husband and I spent a wonderful month at this charming Sonoma home just one block from the Square. It was a magical place to spend the holidays! We enjoyed dining, wine tasting and window shopping in the beautifully lit and decorated plaza. Every Friday, we picked up fresh produce and goodies from the year round farmer’s market across the street from the house, and each day we would take walks on the nearby trails.
The home was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was nicely decorated with quality furnishings and original artwork. The living and dining rooms were large enough for spending time with family and friends, and the back yard looks out onto a meadow. Unfortunately, the weather did not permit us to take advantage of the welcoming outdoor space.
The owner has thought of everything to make this home a pleasant place to stay for her guests. FYI, we had the pleasure of meeting Denise prior to our stay, and she is a lovely and gracious woman. We highly recommend this home if you are staying in Sonoma!
Wonderful home, great location!
We had the most wonderful weekend in Sonoma when we stayed at this fantastic place! It is a beautiful home with plenty of space and is beautifully decorated. My husband and two sons enjoyed everything about this home. The yard was peaceful and pleasant and a wonderful place to hang out, chat and enjoy our wine. When the weather cooled and turned rainy, there was plenty of space for us to relax in the living room. The kitchen has everything you need. And the beds were warm and cozy. The kitchen has everything you need should you want to cook. You can't beat the location - short walk to the Sonoma square where there are restaurants, shops and wine tasting rooms. And a quick drive to the wineries. We will definitely be staying here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this beautiful home. The home is beautifully appointed and so comfortable. We especially enjoyed the lovely gardens in the back yard...very private and quiet (except for the occassional baseball game in the nearby park). Just a few blocks from downtown, we loved being able to walk to restaurants and shops. The home owner was so easy to work with and super nice. Definately will stay here again when we return to Sonoma.
Perfect in Every Way !!!
We rented both the house and the cottage. Both were absolutely charming, nicely decorated, filled with everything we could possibly think of and were spotless !!! The beautiful garden was a delightfull place to relax to while we enjoyed our wine purchases. The kitchens were so well stocked with all the cooking pa ns, dishes and additional items we were thrilled as we love to cook! The location was perfect for walking to the Sonoma square. We are extremely happy with our decision and have already talked at length on when we will come back to stay - what more could we ask for a beautiful place and at an affordable price!
Location and outdoor living space are the best features of this property. The gardens are lovely and the home has several patios, beautiful flowers and trees and a large front porch. The location is excellent and within walking distance of restaurants and the Sonoma Plaza. There are a few quirky things about the house, such as the shower being located in the master bedroom and the rest of the bathroom is in the hall between the two bedrooms. It was not as clean as I would have liked, with trash and soiled linens remaining in the bathroom. The "intimate" guest bedroom is another word for tiny! The living room is spaceous and clean. Another quirky thing about the house is the screen located at one end of the living room used to cover a pile of unwanted objects.

Bike path two doors away, Overlook Hiking Trails one block away. Friday morning Farmers' Market across the street. Tuesday night Farmers' Market in the Plaza plus Food Vendors, music, picnicking.
