Typical rural stone house with beautiful garden surrounded by vineyards

Ideally situated in the green and flowered "north" of the island, in the heart of the vineyard, very calm, full comfort, tastefully decorated, marvellous view on the volcano and the sea, degressive rates depending on the duration of your stay. The thick stone walls of the house provide a welcome coolness in summer. Mild climate the whole year long.

Someone will be there to welcome you, give you the keys and all the explanations about the house.

About Michèle Matthys

We lived several years in the house fully restored by us. We always enjoy to stay there, we enjoy hiking to discover wonderful natural sites and we like to walk in the historical center of the Laguna with its pedestrian streets, terraces.

We chose this village thirstly for its tranquility, secondly for its authenticity, far from noisy tourism and again its very easy to take the motorway that leads us to the different point of interest of the north's island.

Joli jardin, maison impeccable.

Maison située au nord ouest de l'ile, très joli, beaucoup plus que le sud.

Nice, comfortable, cosy holiday home with gorgeous view and wonderful garden

The place is wonderful, especially due to the view (towards sunset in the evening, the North Coast, Teide all above) and the garden with an avocado and a mandarine tree, as well as a palm tree and flowers. Terrace to enjoy it, although it was a bit cold in this (unusually) cold February (just in case: heating works well).

You have got everything that you need, kitchen is very well equipped and not a cheapy. Spices, sugar, various ingredients left from previous visitors>practical. The kitchen is large with an eating table, and a living room on the other side of the wall, everything very spacious.

Unusually, a second sleeping room is in a second building just besides, but this was somewhat attractive. Bathroom with a decent shower, and a separate toilet between both buildings.

We went there with two children of almost 4 and 6 and they liked it very much, although we had to tell them not to pick all the flowers... Some games for the garden and beach stuff were available. TV has many channels including some kids TV. Don´t forget the babyphone as kids will sleep in the other building. One warning: Kids should have reached an age that they understand that they should not climb the walls. From the terrace it goes down a bit.

Everything was very uncomplicated, the lady giving you the keys lives close by and was on the spot quickly every time (e.g. when gas bottle was empty). Contact with the landlord nice and easy as well, everything very relaxed and friendly... thank you!

As many have written before, it is quite a steep drive up there (the house is on 500 m, despite being quite close to the coast). Parking is insofar difficult as there is a wall opposite the gate. We got a nice limousine which was a bit too long. Fortunately I did not produce any damage on it... BTW, navigation system could be wrong. We used Here and the address was incorrectly shown far above on a field.

Practicalities: Super Dino Supermarket in town which is not bad and has some bread, although we found the bread best at Lidl in Puerto. Opposite there is a fruit/vegetables shop. Area around the town hall is nice for a stroll, and there are a few cafés around. Big supermarket is Alcampo in Puerto de la Cruz, but I hated it: too big. Mercadona towards La Laguna or in Icod is better.

Well, that´s all for now. Thanks for the nice week at your place and we will probably come back.

alles super

Wir haben im September für 2 Wochen hier unseren Familienurlaub (32, 30, 5, 1 Jahre) verbracht. Wir haben sehr kurzfristig gebucht und hier sehr viel Unterstützung und entgegenkommen der Vermieter erfahren.

Norma die das Haus betreut hat uns nett empfangen und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar und mit ihrer charmanten Art sehr hilfreich.

Zum Haus selber möchten wir sagen das vom Schlafzimmer über die gute Küche (Wir haben täglich gekocht) bis zum Badezimmer alles gepflegt war und wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben.

Den Garten haben die Kinder gerne bespielt und die Aussicht egal ob beim Aufstehen oder beim Abendessen auf der Terrasse war toll.

Was man jedoch wissen sollte ist die (in Teneriffa öfters vorkommende) Steigung zum Haus. Wir hatten einen Fiat Panda welchen wir sehr and die Grenze gebracht haben. des weiteren ist die Einfahrt zum im Innenhof gelegenen Parkplatz mit einem zu großen Auto eine Herausforderung.

Nichts desto trotz war es immer ein toller Abschluss eines jeden Tages wieder hoch zu fahren.

Zur Verpflegung sind mehrere Supermärkte in der Nähe und einige Guachinchen mit echt hervorragendem Wein.

Un lugar precioso

La casa de Michèle es preciosa, con un jardín exhuberante que te confirma que estás en Tenerife y con todas las comodidades para hacer tu estancia muy confortable.

La casa está ubicada en La Victoria, arriba del todo del pueblo, con lo que una buena cuesta (o bajada) no te la quita nadie, pero casi todo Tenerife es así ;-)

Norma fue muy amable con nosotros y nos solucionó de forma muy eficiente algunos imprevistos!

Un placer alojarse en esta casa!!
