A unique development of 4 apartments with large swimming pool, set in mature gardens with sea views. The elevated ground floor apartment has a large, light and airy open plan living/dining area with patio doors leading to a large south facing terrace with patio furniture and barbecue. There is a feature fire place with flame effect gas fire, satellite and android TV via the WiFi in the apartment, DVD and CD player. The modern, well equipped kitchen has granite worktops with breakfast bar, gas hob/ electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and family-sized fridge freezer. There are two good sized bedrooms (one double bedroom and one twin) with fitted wardrobes and safe. There is separate access and private parking. Sun loungers are provided for the pool area.

The apartment is in a great location, less than 10 minutes easy walk from the village centre and beach.

We had a wonderful fortnight at this lovely, very well equipped and clean ground-floor appartment in Luz. This is our second visit to Praia da Luz as we loved it so much two years ago. The accommodation was very comfortable and the gorgeous pool and views an added bonus. There's plenty to do around Luz, with lovely restaurants and a beautiful beach, but we would recommend a car to enable you to see places further afield. Lagos is a town located within a 10 minute drive which is bustling of an evening. It's teaming with shops and restaurants, as well as live entertainment and other side shows. If you want to take a boat trip to see caves/dolphins there are several companies based at Lagos harbour that will compete for trade! Other attractions well worth visiting (particularly for kids) are Zoo Marine, Aqualand and Sand World, but you will need a car to visit these. We would definately recommend this lovely apartment, and found dealing with Tom and Pat a dream. A very friendly, accommodating couple. Thank you guys.

Owner's Response: Glad you found Luz as charming & relaxing as we do. Lagos is a wonderful vibrant town with a spectacular harbour /marina to have on your doorstep. Lagos is easily accessible in 10 minutes by the regular bus service from Luz.

Bright, roomy apartment fully equipped

Found easily from good directions. Beautiful ground floor apartment just walk out onto pool area - bliss! Apartment had everything you could need. Big living/dining area open plan with kitchen so with patio open plenty of air blowing through. Very clean and tidy. Close to town. No parking issues just park on private area by door at side. Would definitely recommend.

A perfect apartment

Quite simply a perfect apartment. A clean and fully equipped home from home with easy access to the pool and garden.

The apartment has everything that you would need and this really enhanced our 2 weeks out in Luz. The apartment is ideally situated at the top of the town and is within walking distance of the beach and restaurants.

If you do not want to stay in the larger complexes then this is ideal as a lot of the time we found that we had the garden and pool to ourselves.

All in all you could not want for a better place to stay.

Stayed for three weeks at the apartment last June; enjoyed experience so much we are returning this July with the kids again for what we know will be another great family holiday!

The apartment is spacious, well furnished, comfortable with brilliant kitchen working area that makes eating in some nights easy. Bar-be-que right outside the apartment is a good option some nights too which we enjoyed while kids played in the pool. Eating out is convenient as you are within easy walking distance of some very good restaurants, only point to remember is to book them in advance otherwise you will be disappointed when they can't take you for several hours! In particular we enjoyed "The Dolphin", swordfish was a great choice for my son. "The Lemontree" was brill too for the earlybirds who may wish to eat a little earlier and get an excellent three course meet for very reasonable rates. Luz beach is only a few minutes away or indeed Meia praia beach in Lagos is wonderful, loads of room for football without annoying anyone! There are many more good beaches and we hope to visit more this time round. Slide and Splash water park is about 45 minutes drive, it's another must for the whole family to enjoy and we hope certainly to be back this year again.

Stocking up with essentials; there are several large supermarkets in Lagos which is really only 10 minutes in the car, so even that is hassle free!

I really can't imagine how anyone could fail to have anything other than a brilliant holiday to remember in Luz and the backdrop of this wonderful apartment to enjoy really sums it up in my view as excellent and well worth a visit!!

Luz is the jewel of the Algarve

The apartment was everything you would desire in a holiday home of your own; comfortable (fantastic bed), spacious, well equipped ( satellite tv for c.beebies etc), and with the most relaxing south facing balcony from where we could keep a safe eye on the children playing in the pool. It was clean and tidy and well maintained, and the pool was fabulous.Everything was so handy. My husband could stroll down to the bakery in the village and we could have fresh croisssants and coffee on the patio for breakfast. We could barbecue at night and when we got the kids to bed could watch the sun go down over the village. The sea was only 10 mins walk through the lovely village and we enjoyed sitting at the sea front cafe as the boys played on the sand , and at the swing and slide. Dining out was excellent (liked Fortalesa restaurant) and a short walk home. The village had a relaxed charm that helped you slip into your holiday, and feel very much at home.The surrounding area was wonderful.Lagos was only 5 mins away by car and a lovely larger town to explore, with excellent boat trips around the coast which we thoroughly recommend to anyone going to the area.

We didn't golf but enjoyed going up to Parque de floresta and watch others attempt to from the safety of the clubhouse. We liked Alvor, and explored Algarve shopping in Albufeira and Portimao shopping centre. The west coast beaches were beautiful and almost deserted. Cannot speak highly enough of the area and are considering purchasing in the area after our stay.

The owners were fantastic and gave us lots of tips on what to do & where to go, and the property management guy dropped in to see we were alright.Easy people to deal with and will go to the apartment next year.

The apartment is ideally situated in the pretty village of Praia da Luz, within ten minutes easy walking distance of the blue flag beach and village centre. This small exclusive development of four luxury apartments is in the exclusive Monte Lemos area, set among beautiful villas and gardens. It is south facing with sea views and spectacular sunsets. Luz is five minute drive from the picturesque old town of Lagos with narrow cobbled streets and marina. There are two golf courses close by, Boavista (2km) and Parque de Floresat (7km).
