EXCEPTIONAL CONDO, VIEWS & TERMS!!
My husband and I drove from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and were not sure when we would arrive on the 17th. We made good time & asked for an early (noon) checkin and the Owner/Manager has happy to accommodate. We arrived to 1 of the best kept secrets in Florida. Stunning full on ocean views, right on the beach and the water is blue as opposed to most places in Florida. The owner has thought of everything in this condo. Tons of beach chairs; snorkelling gear; beach towels ... A very well equipped kitchen with everything you could want including paper towels, foil, filters - even leftover coffee just in case. The furniture is very comfortable, flat screen tv & dvd player and the 2 full baths were well equipped with toiletries and towels if you didn't bring your own. I like this building for it's heated pools (2) so you can swim when it's not that warm out. Also the balcony is not screened in which we prefer because the view is that much more stunning. The games room was an added bonus with big screen tv; kitchenette; pool table & washrooms if you didn't want to go up to your condo while spending time at the pool and/or beach. Hutchinson Island (on & just off) has some great restaurants which I reviewed on Trip Advisor. We go to Florida most every year and were most happy with the food here. You can get great home cooking for a reasonable price at Jan's off the island. Dine on the water at Shucker's and they have very good food as well. Bathtub reef at the other end of the island is definitely worth a trip to. There is a reef and you can snorkel - the water at low tide is not rough and very clear. Doesn't cost to get in & there is free parking and life guard.
Fabtastic view and location!
This condo is right on the beach and has a fantastic view. You can see schools of fish passing by. No crowds on the beach and surf fishing is good. Several very good restaurants in the area. The owner is great to deal with and the place is very well equipped and clean. We look forward to a return trip.
Spectacular Oceanfront Location
As a first time visitor to Florida's Atlantic cost, I was so excited about my 'Can't Wait To Get Away From Chicago' vacation here. We flew into the West Palm Beach Airport and rented a car for the one hour drive to the condo which is located on Hutchinson Island - a barrier island which isolates it from a lot of of the typical touristy traffic. I came as a guest of a good friend and this was a perfect spot to de-stress, put on the flip-flops and shorts, and enjoy warm weather and sunshine. A Publix grocery store, CVS, surf shop, and some local restaurants are right on the island just a short drive from the condo. The condo was welcoming, clean, and comfortable with a spectacular ocean view from the balcony. After enjoying morning coffee on the balcony watching the incredible sunrises, most of our days were spent right on the beach, reading, sunning, and beach combing (there were tons of interesting shells for collecting) or relaxing at one of the two swimming pools exclusively for condo guests. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and entertaining, but since we were on vacation we chose to eat out for most meals. 'Shucker's' is just up the beach and is a great casual eating spot complete with beachfront seating and tiki bar. The fish tacos were wonderful. Just over the causeway bridge in Jensen Beach, a great choice for brunch is 'Jan's' a popular and friendly gathering place surrounded by artsy and souvenir type shops. A little pricey but fabulous dinner spot in Jensen Beach is the elegant and historic Dolphin Bar. If you drive into Port Saint Lucie, don't miss a stop at TooJay's Gourmet Deli - and DO take home some of their bakery delicacies. I hated to leave our island retreat, but hopefully will return again soon!
