We have just arrived back from this property-Last night in fact!

We had the most fabulous time. The villa was immaculate. Very well presented, and very well equipped. The views from the top balcony were just wonderful-With mountains, rolling countryside and sea- all encompassed in a sweep of the eye.

Sally and Paul were very nice people, friendly and helpful, but not too obtrusive.

I would definitely reccomend this property to friends and family.

We will definitely be returning!

Fantastic 'get-away-from-it-all' holiday

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from the most relaxing two week holiday at this beautiful villa. The vistas are incredible and we spent most days just sitting and enjoying the breathtaking views with a few glasses of wine! The villa was one of the most comfortable and well equipped holiday homes we have been to in the past 20 years. There were some special extra touches such as pool towels being provided and a change of bed linen and towels halfway through our stay. This was like having hotel service! If you are looking for privacy, tranquility and somewhere to really 'switch off', then this place comes highly recommended. The owners Sally and Paul live nearby and are on hand for any information or help you need. The house has the best of both worlds, providing seclusion and peace in the hills but is also situated only 30 mins from the more lively town of Torre del Mar with beaches and restaurants. We loved it and hope to go back again soon and explore much more of this beautiful area of Spain.

Stunning Villa

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from 8 nights at this Villa 24th May-1st June 2017.My wife and I have stayed in many Villa's and carefully sellected this one as always due to us being very fussy travellers.

On arrival we were met by Sally and she showed us around the Villa. You can see immediately why every person has given this Villa 5* ratings.

The Villa was spotlessly clean. outside you are met with stunning panaramic views.

We spent many days just sitting in the shade relaxing on the patio. The main reason we booked this Villa was hoping due to its location we would have peace and quite.

In the evenings we heard nothing during the day you only hear the odd vehicle passing by.

My wife and I were totally gutted having to come back home it is safe to say we will be going back.

The Villa was tastefully decorated throughout, The layout internally and externally worked so well, loved the open plan kitchen/ diner and the patio doors leading out to spectacular outdoor pool and views . The winter sunshine was absolutely fantastic. Just an amazing wonderful holiday, and we shall definitely be returning.

The villa was very clean and well presented, with amazing views from both terraces. As the villa is on a hill, there were usually cool breezes which were a welcome contrast to the heat lower down. The villages of Comares and Benamargosa are less than 10 minutes drive away and are very 'local'. The coast was very busy as would be expected during August, so we tended to stay inland and explore the villages and scenery around us. Sally and Paul were very helpful. Due to a flight delay, we arrived late at night and Sally kindly got in some supplies for us.

Beautiful, tranquil villa in the hills

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from an extremely relaxing fortnight in this perfect property.

The villa was everything we expected and more. The views from the terraces are stunning both day and night; the pool is inviting and in a perfect spot; the kitchen is a great size and very well equipped; the living area is spacious and comfortable; the bedrooms are airy and bright with lovely en suites and the whole place was spotless. All the little extras made it a real home from home.

Sally and Paul are perfect hosts, being nearby for any queries, but the clever planning of the villa layout allows for maximum privacy.

Sally was excellent with communication throughout the booking process and the directions were clear and comprehensive. Despite being tucked away up in the hills we had no problem finding the villa.

My two daughters (12 and 10) described the villa as perfect. They loved the pool and enjoyed practicing dance routines on the huge first floor terrace.

I would happily recommend this villa to anyone and we hope to back ourselves sometime.

Comares only 5 minutes away, is one of Andalucia's most picturesque and unspoilt white hill top villages, it is perched on one of the highest peaks in the Sierra de Tejeda national park and is known as the 'Balcon de Axarquia'. The village was of strategic importance during Moorish times and was one of the bases of Omar ben Hafsun. At the highest point of the village there are ruins of a Moorish castle. The village remains unspoilt and is a fascinating place to explore, with its spectacular views, and is ideal to pop to for an excellent lazy lunch.

Velez Malaga a 20 minute drive, is a typical Spanish Town with an old quarter dating back to Moorish occupation. It has an old castle La Fortaleza, of which a restored tower remains, set in pretty gardens. There are also two interesting old churches. The town has an excellent municipal market every day except Sunday, selling local produce, fish meat, vegetables and fruit. There is also a wide range of modern shops and supermarkets.
