Brief Description of the Area: The nearby town of Torrevieja is 28 miles south of Alicante on the Costa Blanca (10 min from Cabo Roig), with its fine sandy beaches. The area boasts of 300 days of sunshine per year. Torrevieja is a typical Spanish town with an expanding harbour and marina. Torrevieja caters for all tastes, with bars, restaurants, an Aqua/Water park, 10 pin bowling, go-cart tracks whilst the Cabo Roig urbanisation is quieter with Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Belgian, German and of course the famous Spanish Restaurants. This Private Complex is mostly owner occupied and thus well maintained. It is within a gated community and has private off street parking. The villa is 50-60M from the swimming pool. It is a Quad i.e each block has 4 adjoining houses.
The main feature of this area is the fabulous all year weather and the huge choice of clean sandy beaches and clear sparkelling sea water.
It is within walking distance of Cabo Roig Strip (i.e. The Social hub of the area which got the name strip due to being rows of pubs, restaurants and businesses running up both sides of the 332 road) and all ameneties such as restaurants, bars, supermarket, pharmacy, banks etc
A footbridge links both sides of the strip over the 332 road. Ideal for Golf enthusiast's and groups due to boasting some of the best courses in Spain. Let me know if you wish to join the local golf groups and arrangements can be made for a great golf week away.

From the description on the advert, this was correct, we found the property fantastic, very clean, tidy and well maintained. Everything we needed was made available.
The owner was unbelievable with the information she gave us, this was from advising us on who we should hire a car from etc, we were picked up from the airport, taken to the Villa and settled in, all within 3 hours traveling from Birmingham airport, are hired car was at the Villa waiting for us.
The area is great, very lively and with abundance of various restaurants, great places to eat and drink and wind down the day. Walking back to the Villa is all of five minutes and back to the peace and calm of your Villa.
This place is a must for all golfers, fantastic golf courses with a new one just opened, Los Colinus, this is from the Troon Company who have made this into a wonderful experience, ranging from the practice ground right up to the first tee, it has 18 wonderful, truly exciting holes.
All rooms have air conditioning which is a must in July and August.
My final note is: I would recommend this Villa who have a life for living, resting and having a great time, be assured the owner really looks after you and nothing is to much trouble, we, as a family will be re-booking. well done and can't wait to get back for sun, sea and and a fun time.

The villa was superb, well equipped , with everything in pristine condition .The equipment provided was second to none and I was pleasantly surprised to find lots of personal touches .
There is a beautiful pool close to the villa , which was also very well maintained.
There are an abundance of excellent restaurants within walking distance, and all reasonably priced .
Overall , we had a wonderful and relaxing break which we thoroughly enjoyed .

The house has a very good location. Near the beach and near a large shopping center. The private pool is very good maintained and not so Busy. However we visited in the last month of June, it might be different during the high season. The house itself was also great. Airconditioning worked fine. You will have to pay for the use of it but this was a very reasonable amount of approximately 20 EUR a week. The rooms and beds were well maintained. Its like coming to your own place. The pool is located just 50 m from the house, not to far and not to close. Part of the garden faces north, which in Sweden is regarded as bad. However in Spain this is almost preferred since the sun stand so high in the sky. You can easily eat you breakfast in the garden in the morning without getting grilled by the sun, and enjoy the evening sun in the late afternoon. The house owner Marie was very helpful and kind, she provided us with everything we needed. Summarising our stay, just perfect.
My girlfriend and I stayed in this villa in early June, before peak season was in full swing, and this property provided exactly what we had hoped and much much more! We flew into Alicante airport and our transfer which was organised through Marie, the owner, was awaiting our arrival with a friendly smile and a helping hand (just what you need after a day of travelling). We were delighted to see that the place was clean and tidy on arrival with beds made, fresh towels etc. The place is spacious and airy and there is plenty of space to move around. The balcony off the main bedroom on the first floor is a gorgeous area to read or have a cup of coffee and catch some sun while the roof is equipped with deck chairs and cushions to work on your tan!
One of the massive advantages of this villa is that everything you could possibly need is there, and I mean EVERYTHING! From salt & pepper to a selection of books and even toys for the kids on the beach! My girlfriend was looking for nail varnish remover and I jokingly said look in that cabinet and believe it or not it was there! Every room was equipped with a ceiling fan which was a welcome retreat from the midday heat and the bedroom came with its own individual fan also. The beds were comfortable and clean along with the bathrooms and showers.
The complex itself is quiet and relaxing and could honestly cater for any demographic. Myself and my girlfriend are a young couple and lived next-door to two elderly couples and a family. The pool is gorgeous and is half a stone's throw from the villa, this is where we spent alot of time lounging and reading in the sun. The general atmosphere in the complex is relaxed and friendly which was very welcoming.
The area of Cabo Roig itself is less than a 5 minute walk from the villa and boasts a host of attractive shops, restaurants and bars. We ate at a lovely Mexican place called the Poco Loco and would highly recommend. The restaurants are affordable and the customer service across the board is high. A great little Irish pub which is 2 mins in a taxi is Paddy's Point which is a more commercialised Irish bar which was always full with well trained staff and a great atmosphere too.
Marie, our contact for the property went above & beyond the call to ensure we had everything we could possibly need and was truly a pleasure to deal with. We could not recommend this property more to anyone who is looking for a relaxing break in the sun, you won't be disappointed! 5 stars!!
Having just spent a most relaxing week at 14 Sol beach, I wish to express my grateful thanks to Marie for being such an accommodating hostess .From the moment we arrived we experienced nothing but the utmost courtesy and consideration from from Marie's team who met, greeted us and had the accommodation in pristine condition .My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our break in Cabo Roig .I have just identified the weeks which suit my family for the coming year and hopefully I shall be able to book this villa for this period .
Having read all the reviews by previous tenants, I was astounded to read one made by R G who stated that the villa was filthy , this I find VERY difficult to accept as I could find nothing to criticise from ANY aspect of my holiday .With reference to the request by the owner to refrain from children playing ball in the patio area,may I state that my children would be EXPECTED to respect the property of others and a request by the owner re playing ball , is in my opinion superfluous.Renewed thanks to Marie and her team. Looking forward to going back again in 2014 .
The villa was spacious, well maintained, spotlessly clean and included everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The rooftop and patio areas were ideal for sunbathing, BBQ's and chilling out. Excellent location, 5 minutes from the "strip" with a good choice of restaurants, bars and shops and we could walk to the beach. We could also walk/taxi (very cheap) to the larger supermarkets at La Zenia. Being in a complex we felt very safe and at night the area was well lit and quiet. Reassuring to have Sharon and Richard to contact when we needed something fixed or sorted or just to get some local information/recommendations/advice. Maria the owner was very helpful and prompt in her response to our queries prior to our departure and even arranged pickup from the airport. I will definitely be booking again and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Cabo Roig is South of Torrevieja in the direction of San Pedro and Cartegena. It is situated between La Zenia and Campoamor.From Alicante airport take the Murcia route on the Auto Via/motorway and exit at the La Zenia junction. Once you come off the motorway it is only 10 mins. to the villa. From Murcia take the motorway in the direction of Alicante and take the same exit. If required ,collection from the airport can be arranged (payable locally) Walk to restaurants, pubs, shops etc ..'The Strip' has all these ameneties including pharmacy, beauty/hair, bainternet/phone, safe deposit box, travel agent, toutist Info, kery, church, bus stop, banks, takeaway food, medical clinic (English speaking).
