Located in the historic centre of a fishing village, this air conditioned apartment for 4-6 people (60 sq.m) is peaceful and located on the second and uppermost floor. It is comprised of a large living room with a fully-equipped kitchen, which includes a washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, and a coffee machine. It also has two bedrooms and a bathroom.

The 45-sq.m, fully-equipped terrace is located behind the apartment and enjoys a view of the Guadiana River and the royal Vila San Antonio, in Portugal.

It is ideally situated, whether you wish to enjoy the superb Spanish or Portuguese beaches, visit the natural parks and the Andalusian sites, as well as the Algarvian coast of Portugal.

Why Christophe Pannier chose Costa de la Luz - Huelva

Ayamonté is a well-preserved Andalusian village, right next door to Portugal and active year-round. It is an hour away from Seville and 30 minutes from Faro, and offers the discovery of Andalusia and the Algarve coast; two cultures in one climate. It is very pleasant, even in the heat of summer, thanks to the nearby ocean.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment's location is directly in the downtown area, right next to the river and near the sea. It allows for a pleasant climate year-round. It also offers the possibility of moving from one country to the other, since we have a boat that can cross the river and take us directly to Portugal. Portugal offers a rich variety of excursions and other sites, such as the small islands that dot the coast (the islands of the Rio Famosa). It's perfect for those who love activity-filled holidays, with the option to sit back and get away from the hustle and bustle.

Très bon séjour!

Très bonnes vacances, Appartement très bien entretenu et situé idéalement : marché couvert en bas, bar à tapas excellent... Ayamonte est une ville très vivante et familiale et nous a permis de visiter aussi Séville, Huelva, le parc de Donana, el Rocio, Jabugo et Almonaster la Real...et le Portugal. Nous avons adoré!

Muy bien situado. Buena relación calidad - precio.

Hemos pasado una semana en el apartamento y hemos estado muy a gusto. El apartamento está justo al lado del mercado y se puede comprar pescado y marisco fresquísimo. También carne de cerdo ibérico de bellota, jamón cortado a cuchillo, etc.

Los desayunos y las cenas las hemos hecho en la azotea donde se puede enchufar la plancha eléctrica o encender la barbacoa de carbón. Bonitas vistas de la azotea. Ayamonte es un pueblo con mucha vida y para nosotros es mucho mejor que Isla Cristina, Isla Canela, Punta del Moral, etc.que está demasiado explotado para el turismo de playa y chiringuito.

Hemos aprovechado para conocer el Algarve portugués. A 25 km está la playa de Cabanas, con arena fina y agua muy limpia. Recomendable visitar Tavira que está justo al lado.

A 130 km de Ayamonte se puede visitar Lagos, con preciosas calas y un paseo por todas las cuevas en barca o en kayak.

Schöne Wohnung, geschmackvoll, sehr zentral, Küche gute Ausstattung. Markthalle, Supermarkt, Fähre nach Portugal um die Ecke. Hübsches Städtchen Ayamonte, die besten Tapas in der "Bar Cortada"! Spanischkenntnisse erforderlich wegen Kontaktperson am Ort. Gebäude neu renoviert, leider einiges nicht ganz fertig, z.B. Außenbeleuchtung. Fahrstuhl funktionierte nicht.

Located in the village centre, in the heart of the commercial area, this apartment is located 15 m away from the covered market and 150 m from the marina. The docks for the Portugal ferry are 200 m away, while the magnificent beach of Isla Canela is 3 km, with access via a ferry that leaves every half hour. There is a golf course 2 km away. The Guadiana cruise boat, and Faro (50 km) or Seville (150 km) airports are also options.

Spanish cuisine, including tapas bars or traditional year-round restaurants, is available right outside the apartment. Portuguese food, such as cataplana or bacalao, is available within a 5-minute drive or ferry ride.
