Careful attention to detail and quality furnishings make this a particularly pleasant environment. The condo is part of a 7 unit 'green', heritage renovation that is presently being LEED certified. Strathcona is a safe, family oriented community with a laid back Bohemian vibe that will give you a small town feel in the big city.

The apt is situated on a bike route, it's about a 10 minute ride to downtown, 5 to the seawall and Chinatown. Park the car and explore all that this vibrant community has to offer.

About Denys King

I am an artist who has lived and worked in Vancouver for over 30 years now. Along with working as an artist I am managing this property for my friend Bibi who lives in California. She furnished this suite as her home away from home for when she comes to Vancouver. It is our hope that you will find your home away from home in one of the greatest cities in the world!

Why Denys King chose Vancouver

Bibi chose this property for the location and also because of it's 'green' standards. She loves the community feeling that is part of Strathcona and also it's proximity to all the great, fun spots nearby. Downtown, Chinatown, Gastown and the Commercial Drive area are all literally within a short walk away. The Skytrain is just down the street and aside from being situated on a major bike route the bus direct to downtown is just around the corner, if you decide not to walk. Car to Go is always an option as well.

What makes this condo unique

Strathcona is unique in it's community vibe, there is a very safe , family friendly thing going on here. From the small cafes to the two family owned markets just down the street you'll feel right at home in no time. The condo is situated on a bike route to the city and you can relax after your day watching the commuters whiz by while enjoying a glass of wine on the patio.

This place is great!

I rented Bibi's place for two months last spring, and again for the month of October. The suite is thoughtfully laid out, beautifully furnished, and very clean and cozy, It is perfect for one person or a couple, and comes equipped with everything that you will need for just a few days or a few months. The suite is in a great location on a major bike route and is only five minutes from downtown Vancouver. There are a number of restaurants and cafes in the area, and Denys is really helpful if you have any questions or concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Bonus: The neighbours are fantastic!

I'd rent it again!

Great location. Clean. Small but comfortable. Great for an individual or couple visiting the city. I hope to rent it again next time I'm in Vancouver.
