(Text automatically translated) The house is located in a residential area and pedestrian medina (the most beautiful medinas of Morocco) a few meters from the walls, in a quiet alley where you will not be disturbed by the sound of the waves and the birds. This tastefully eclectic house mixes exotic and functionality. It was designed to create friendly environments: breakfast and meals with family or friends in the contemporary living room or in the Moroccan lounge in the reeds, with the ocean as a backdrop and evenings on the second terrace, under the stars .
This is the best house that we have ever stayed in during our holidays. The house is exactly like the pictures are showing. The house is located in a very quiet area of the medina, and very close to the sea. The house is clean and very well maintained. Simo provides good service, and his helpers Abdou, Abdellah and Fatouma are very kind people. You should really taste food that Fatouma makes, since she is the best cook in Morocco!!!
"Thank you so much to Simo, Abdou and wonderful Fettouma for a really lovely stay. We changed our arrival time from late afternoon to 9am as I wasn't feeling well. With only 1 hrs notice, Fettouma had the house ready and Abdou arranged a taxi to collect us from the train station and drive us to the house in the medina. Abdou showed us the house and how everything worked and Fettouma stayed to fetch us firewood and make us a tagine and Moroccan eggplant salad for lunch for a ridiculously low fee by western standards. And it was delicious! The house was really comfortable, the fire made the place cozy in the evnings, the washing machine was really handy and we could hear the ocean from our blue bedroom on the top floor. Simo called on the first afternoon to ensure we were settled ok, Abdou dropped by briefly one evening to check on us, and a quick phone call to him one afternoon had Fettouma there when we got home from sightseeing with a lamb couscous. She was an absolute sweetheart. Abdou also arranged our taxi back to the train station when we departed.
Asilah is a lovely little town with an extremely clean whitewashed medina which is easier to navigate than most medina's in Morocco. There are a number of great fish restaurants, and it's a really nice place to while away the time, or Tangier is only 30 mins away by train for a day out.
I'd recommend CasaSimo to anyone!"
"Lovely place; perfect for a family of 6 or less. Simo and his staff are very pleasant and helpful when arranging our stay. While not right on the beach, there is a good view of the sea from the pleasant terrace. I've already recommended Simo's apartment to others living in Rabat."
"Cassimo was the most welcoming and helpful host that we have ever experienced. Abdul who looks after the house for Cassimo was able to help us on all our questions. Fatima cooked us the most wonderful Tangine when we arrived. The house is absolutley beautiful and has everything that you could possible need. The roof terraces are fantastic and the sun sets breath taking. We would highly recommend this house as the people, setting and accomodation are perfect."
"Absolutely amazing place in the medina. Beautifully decorated with all mod cons and excellent attention to detail. Fantastic views from the roof terrace. The owner was superb with the help he gave us arranging our trip. The caretaker was great and very helpful especially by bringing us wood for the fire. The housekeeper made us a lovely tagine. Asilah is a beautiful town and the locals are really friendly.
Thank you to the owner - we had a wonderful time."
"We communicated with a few owners regarding a short weekend stay in May in the medina of Asilah. Simo owner of Casasimo was very responsive and we decided to stay at his home. He was very helpful with advance information and gave me confidence that we would enjoy our visit. Abdul is the on site caretaker and met our driver at the parking lot...he helped with so many things and even came to the restaurants after dinner to walk us back to house...this was not a safety issue but we felt more comfortable as we were two women. He was there to help with anything you need.He even walked with us to the market on arrival to get groceries for our stay.
House is just as on website with perfect location in medina and we spent alot of time on the roof and in the little second terrace just below which provides shade. The early mornings and sunset on the roof with the call to prayer are worth the trip alone. The house has everything you could need including a great selection of CDs and movies (my daughter liked these). It was fun staying in the medina and I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Asilah. It is a short walk to restaurants which really is the only thing we went outside the medina for. Simo recommended Casa Garcia and so do we..it was the best in town for sure! Simo even called upon our arrival to make sure all was okay . We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying in the medina and Casasimo is an excellent choice for your accommodations. You feel at home instantly and really part of the medina."
