About the property

2 bedrooms 3 bathrooms with a pool and views of the ocean

Newly constructed home features a pool and sliding glass doors to off the kitchen to the pool. Very private if you require this. Features a detached guest cottage out back which is also available. The home sleeps six and is gated for absolute solitude but close to all activities. The home is less than one year old. The access is gated and is the last home on the street so if privacy is important this is the place. You can see whales breaching from the deck and watch the sunsets daily. Also follow the trail to a 15 minute walk to the beaches to watch the surfers.

Why Patricia Porsnuk chose San Francisco

I Travelled all of Mexico and San Pancho is my favorite place, it is clean, safe and what Mexico is really all about. The tourists are just starting to find this hidden jewel and therefore it is not crowded. The beaches are amazing and the restaurants fantastic.

quiet and beautiful

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here with our two year old while visiting friends in San Pancho. Patricia met us upon arriving and was warm and kind. There was a pack and play for us and a beautiful clean house. The second bedroom is very secluded from the first so it might have been better if our kid was a little older, and needed their own space. The house is situated on top of a hill, overlooking all of San Pancho. If you like feeling the burn you can easily walk into town and then hike back up. The pool was a little on the cold side, but it's such a lovely view you seriously can't really care that much. The rooms have black out curtains for sleeping in and then open up, allowing for all of the beautiful natural light to come in. A lovely home.

Amazing - will be back

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had a 4-day getaway to Casa Guadalupe and we had an amazing time. Patricia and Lalu were both super helpful. With that said, everything was perfect with no problems, so we didn't need them too much. :) We saw them each day walking through town, which was very personal as well.

The views from the home were stunning and all the valley sounds were so authentic and enjoyable. Very comfortable bed and amenities as well.

Again, just perfect all the way around. We returned on a Monday and booked a return San Pancho summer trip later that week. We need a bigger house for the broader family, but we will 100% be returning to this home for another getaway.

Essentially every other review here already states what I want to say about this VRBO - it is tremendously beautiful, enjoyable, and soul-enhancing. The combination of the ideal location (looking out over the ocean, the sounds of the roosters and music drifting up from the town below, feeling steeped in Mexico but also in privacy) and gorgeous home (those doors that open the house to the outside, the comfortable beds, the stocked kitchen and cozy living room, the beautiful design) and loving care from the owners/caretaker (just the right amount of helpful, affectionate, knowledgeable, caring, and protective) combine to make this an unforgettable vacation spot. We talk about it every day, and have tried to take some of the peaceful, joyful feelings our family experienced there into our everyday life - part of Villa Guadalupe and San Pancho are lodged within us now, and we cannot wait to go back. The walk down to San Pancho and the beach turned out to be so enjoyable - plenty of time to take in the sights, sounds, and wonderful people but not so long that anyone was exhausted. We adored the town, the shops, the food, and the ocean. Travel tips from us - do rent an SUV (the road is steep and rugged, but fine with an SUV and steady focus), and do bring a flashlight if you plan to walk at night (it's safe, but dark!). To Patricia, Donny and Lalo - you have our love and deep thanks - we cannot wait to see you again!

Repeat visit. We love this house!!!!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

Our second visit to this property was every bit as wonderful as the first 2 years ago. The house is perfectly placed above San Pancho and we never tire of the near distant sights and sounds of this special place and the ocean beyond. The house has a thoughtful combination of open common spaces, multiple patios and a wonderful infinity pool contrasted by lovely, private bedroom suites. Patricia's eye for detail and concern for comfort is evident everywhere. Lalo does an amazing job of quietly caretaking the property and we know he's there if we need anything. We've chosen to forgo a car each visit and enjoy the mile trek to cafes, markets and the beach, often multiple times a day. San Pancho offers an impressive number of good restaurants for a town so small. There's often live music on the streets.

Thanks so much for another wonderful stay.

Perfectly Private

  • 5 of 5

Great house, great owner. Tucked away on a hilltop, this house offers absolute seclusion if that's what you're in search of. At the same time, it's an easy walk down to the beach/town if you're feeling social. Lalo the caretaker was great, and there anytime we needed anything. Although the photos don't show the kitchen, it's great too - so stock up at the Mega on your way in. A true escape that we'll defiantly head back to whenever we need a break from life.
