Our family has been the sole owner of this property, and we have the house ready for you just like our own family is visiting. Our goal is for your stay to be excellent in every way.
Stacy Kinder purchased this house in 1995
Our family has vacationed in the Vail Valley for more than 30 years, and we have found it to be an excellent place to spend time in every season, with the entire family...there are plentiful activities that are appealing to all ages!
Our home has six bedrooms, all of which are very spacious with private bathrooms and walk-in closets, so there is plenty of room for extended family and friends. Being so close to the ski lifts and hiking trails makes the home very convenient for anyone interested in outdoor adventure, and close proximity to restaurants and shopping areas helps make everyone happy!
Our group of 5 couples and families had a great trip to CO and really enjoyed staying in this house. It's a fantastic property with a great location minutes from the Arrowhead base at Beaver Creek, and it was perfect for our large group.
It's clear the owners have given alot of thought to ensuring the home is well appointed and stocked for large groups and we wanted for nothing. The local manager was also a very helpful resource, both before and during our visit.
We'll definitely stay there again the next time we're in the Beaver Creek / Vail area.
What a delight! The home was spacious, clean and well-appointed. It was comfortable, from the beds to the chairs to the couches, in every regard relaxing. The kitchen was well-stocked and tempted us to cook some delicious meals, although there were a large number of great restaurants near-by. We just had a delightful time, and found the owners easy to deal with in every way. We came to view the fall leaves and took several scenic drives during our three week stay. We have never seen a more spectacular show of fall color! No negatives! We hope to return to this home again!
All I can say is WOW. I stayed in this gorgeous house while on a company retreat with my wife and 8 other adults. It easily fit all of us with tons of room to spare. The photos really don't do this place justice.
The 2 separate living rooms allowed for us to enjoy the cable or play games together or in groups. The kitchen was fully equipped with all kinds of cook ware, spices and so on. Each bedroom had an attached bathroom making it easy for everyone to take showers without waiting. The wifi was more than fast enough to power all of our working laptops, phones and a couple of Roku movie players.
We rented a couple of cars so driving into Edwards (1 mile away) for groceries was super easy and close. Everything we needed was within a 2-5 minute drive. Vail offered so many activities and was fairly close as well. We didn't get to stay long (5 days) but we did so many things including a few hikes and zip lining.
I hate to say anything negative, but the garage door (which we seldom used) did break, but the maintenance guy, Roy, was on the scene within 5 minutes. He had it freshly greased, fixed and running smoothly in no time. I seriously doubt anyone will have problems while on their stay, but if you do, rest assured it will be fixed in no time flat.
I highly recommend a stay in this house. You will not want to stay anywhere else, I promise.
We stayed here for our family Christmas vacation. The views of the mountains were amazing, The home is in a very private and secure community, that was nice. Their was a nearby hill for the little kids to sled at a nearby city park. We went with 16 people and for the most part the house was well equipmed with a fair amount of space so everyone can get their space when needed.
Some issues however we had which were addressed but should be noted... The stove latch wouldn't catch and they had to order a part to fix it so we butted a chair up against the door otherwise it took 30min + longer to cook anything. We had a main water pipe break and water was spraying out in the living room, we had to call maintenance to get the main water shut off, and they had a plumber out to fix (he came three times and finally fixed it). Unfortunately the water issue cause the heater to not work for two days in parts of the house getting as low as 65 degrees Farenheit in parts of the home which made it very uncomfortable and cold. While the water main was shut off we had to quit doing laundry, couldn't take showers, or run kitchen water.
Although we did make some good memories in Beaver Creek, we will not be staying at this residents in the future. I will give props to the owners that they did work with us and were easy to communicate with but I think any future renter should at least know about these issues.
Let me reiterate the issues were all eventually resolved by the owners outsourced management company, however it was just the lack of quickness to which they were resolved and I don't want anyone else to experience that.
Having recently stayed at the property over the Christmas-New Year holiday, I can honestly say that the living quarters exceeded our expectations. The house, viewed in person is much nicer than depicted in the photos. The property is in excellent condition, and the ease of the shuttle to the Arrowhead chair lift most inviting. The house easily accomodated 14 adults and 2 children. The kitchen/dining area was fully equipped and the pantry well stocked with the usual herbs and spices. The appliances were all of high quality and easy to work. The only amenity missing is a hot tub. If you plan to visit Beaver Creek with a large party, I would highly recommend staying here. I would recommend that you have a car, since the shuttle service and in town buses stop running at 5:30 pm and taking taxis to the supermarket or to go out in the evening, was costly. It would also make the trips to Vail much easier.
Our home is located in the residential neighborhood of Arrowhead in the Vail Valley, within minutes of world-class skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, rafting, golfing---the list of activities goes on and on! Only minutes from the Ritz Carlton at Bachelor Gulch and the Beaver Creek Village, there are also plenty of wonderful opportunities to shop, dine, and rejuvenate nearby.
