About the property

Spacious House, 6 Bedrooms, 5.5 Baths, Sleeps 14-16

Arrowhead is an exclusive, residential gated community with 24-hr. security located at the base of Arrowhead Mountain. Village-to-village skiing is possible from Arrowhead to the Bachelor Gulch/Ritz Carlton area, and then on to Beaver Creek Ski Resort. There's rarely a line at the Arrowhead high-speed quad lift, which is located just one minute from the house via on-demand private shuttle service. The convenience is wonderful!

63 Aspen Meadows Drive provides a private back yard where you can grill on the patio and enjoy the summer sunset. Inside, features include a stone entryway that leads to a large, two-story living room where your family can enjoy the large stone fireplace. A flat-screen TV and DVD player can be found in the entertainment center. WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS IS AVAILABLE.

The main level also includes a large dining room with hardwood floors. This leads into the family-sized kitchen, which features marble countertops and stainless steel appliances, and is fully stocked for food preparation. Located off the kitchen is the laundry room and the two-car heated garage.

Also on the main level, you will find the large, luxurious master bedroom, which offers a king-sized bed and flat-screenTV/DVD, soaring 20-ft. ceilings, and a private patio. The romantic master bath is finished with marble floor, countertops, and steam shower, and features a large jetted soaking tub. Upstairs, you will find two large bedrooms, each with a private bath, and both feature queen beds and mountain views. Downstairs contains a large family room that holds a game table, three sofas (one of which is a queen-sized pull-out couch), as well as a flat-screen TV.

Off of the family room, several bedrooms are located. One is a twin bed room (if you prefer a king bed we can have that arranged in advance) with its own bathroom. Another bedroom features a king bed and private sink, which shares the toilet and bath with a third bedroom which holds four bunk beds---perfect for kids! The bunk room has its own sink, as well.

Why Stacy Kinder chose Northwest Colorado

Our family has vacationed in the Vail Valley for more than 30 years, and we have found it to be an excellent place to spend time in every season, with the entire family...there are plentiful activities that are appealing to all ages!

What makes this house unique

Our home has six bedrooms, all of which are very spacious with private bathrooms and walk-in closets, so there is plenty of room for extended family and friends. Great Home!

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 5 couples and families had a great trip to CO and really enjoyed staying in this house. It's a fantastic property with a great location minutes from the Arrowhead base at Beaver Creek, and it was perfect for our large group.

It's clear the owners have given alot of thought to ensuring the home is well appointed and stocked for large groups and we wanted for nothing. The local manager was also a very helpful resource, both before and during our visit.

We'll definitely stay there again the next time we're in the Beaver Creek / Vail area.

Beautiful Fall Colors

  • 5 of 5

What a delight! The home was spacious, clean and well-appointed. It was comfortable, from the beds to the chairs to the couches, in every regard relaxing. The kitchen was well-stocked and tempted us to cook some delicious meals, although there were a large number of great restaurants near-by. We just had a delightful time, and found the owners easy to deal with in every way. We came to view the fall leaves and took several scenic drives during our three week stay. We have never seen a more spectacular show of fall color! No negatives! We hope to return to this home again!

Absolutely Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

All I can say is WOW. I stayed in this gorgeous house while on a company retreat with my wife and 8 other adults. It easily fit all of us with tons of room to spare. The photos really don't do this place justice.

The 2 separate living rooms allowed for us to enjoy the cable or play games together or in groups. The kitchen was fully equipped with all kinds of cook ware, spices and so on. Each bedroom had an attached bathroom making it easy for everyone to take showers without waiting. The wifi was more than fast enough to power all of our working laptops, phones and a couple of Roku movie players.

We rented a couple of cars so driving into Edwards (1 mile away) for groceries was super easy and close. Everything we needed was within a 2-5 minute drive. Vail offered so many activities and was fairly close as well. We didn't get to stay long (5 days) but we did so many things including a few hikes and zip lining.

I hate to say anything negative, but the garage door (which we seldom used) did break, but the maintenance guy, Roy, was on the scene within 5 minutes. He had it freshly greased, fixed and running smoothly in no time. I seriously doubt anyone will have problems while on their stay, but if you do, rest assured it will be fixed in no time flat.

I highly recommend a stay in this house. You will not want to stay anywhere else, I promise.

trip to Beaver Creek 2012

  • 2 of 5

We stayed here for our family Christmas vacation. The views of the mountains were amazing, The home is in a very private and secure community, that was nice. Their was a nearby hill for the little kids to sled at a nearby city park. We went with 16 people and for the most part the house was well equipmed with a fair amount of space so everyone can get their space when needed.

Some issues however we had which were addressed but should be noted... The stove latch wouldn't catch and they had to order a part to fix it so we butted a chair up against the door otherwise it took 30min + longer to cook anything. We had a main water pipe break and water was spraying out in the living room, we had to call maintenance to get the main water shut off, and they had a plumber out to fix (he came three times and finally fixed it). Unfortunately the water issue cause the heater to not work for two days in parts of the house getting as low as 65 degrees Farenheit in parts of the home which made it very uncomfortable and cold. While the water main was shut off we had to quit doing laundry, couldn't take showers, or run kitchen water.

Although we did make some good memories in Beaver Creek, we will not be staying at this residents in the future. I will give props to the owners that they did work with us and were easy to communicate with but I think any future renter should at least know about these issues.

Let me reiterate the issues were all eventually resolved by the owners outsourced management company, however it was just the lack of quickness to which they were resolved and I don't want anyone else to experience that.

Owner's Response: In response to this review, I unfortunately must admit that some of these events did occur. During this group's stay in late December, the temperature turned unseasonably cold, and during one evening when the temperature dropped to -20F, a pipe that ran along an exterior wall and which supplied heat to the house did develop a leak. Our property manager, along with our plumber, were out at the house several times over the next 24 hours to get the problem completely resolved...and measures have been taken to ensure that the problem does not occur again, even in ridiculously cold weather. In rectify the situation for this family as much as we possibly could, we reimbursed them 100% of their week-long rental payment. Our motto is to treat out guests as we would want to be treated, and a great experience for our renters is our goal.

Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Having recently stayed at the property over the Christmas-New Year holiday, I can honestly say that the living quarters exceeded our expectations. The house, viewed in person is much nicer than depicted in the photos. The property is in excellent condition, and the ease of the shuttle to the Arrowhead chair lift most inviting. The house easily accomodated 14 adults and 2 children. The kitchen/dining area was fully equipped and the pantry well stocked with the usual herbs and spices. The appliances were all of high quality and easy to work. The only amenity missing is a hot tub. If you plan to visit Beaver Creek with a large party, I would highly recommend staying here. I would recommend that you have a car, since the shuttle service and in town buses stop running at 5:30 pm and taking taxis to the supermarket or to go out in the evening, was costly. It would also make the trips to Vail much easier.

Owner's Response: We agree with this renter's recommendation in having a car while at the house. During the ski season, it is certainly easy to get on and off the ski slopes with the shuttle system and the buses that run between Arrowhead, Bachelor Gulch, Beaver Creek and Vail. However, during the summer months and in the evenings, a car is nice to use to get to all of the other great stuff to do in the Vail Valley---eating, shopping, entertainment, hiking, sightseeing, etc.
