On the positive side, the apartment is large and inexpensive compared to many of the other properties we looked at in London. It has a washer and dryer which allowed us to do laundry during our extended vacation. On the down side, it was not very well maintained. The rugs and furniture are run down and need replacing but the shower curtain was downright gross. Be aware that you will be charged for your use of gas and electricity. We did not spend much time in the apartment as we were out sightseeing from early in the morning until late at night so it worked out fine for us. It is ok, if you are just looking for a place to lay your head at night but it is not a place I felt welcome and wanted to spend time in.

Owner's Response: As we did not have an arrival on 1 August, it is not possible to identify the customer or the apartment in which the customer stayed. It is not nice to receive negative comments but all comments should be fair. In this case I do not think they are fair. For example we have clearly stated on the website and it is reiterated in our offer document to customers that the cost of gas and electricity is NOT included in our charges so why this customer should be surprised - I do not know. Secondly we do not have rugs in our apartments. The shower curtain is not gross. One should compare the comments of this customer with that of others who stayed in our apartments

"It was a wonderful stay....

"It was a wonderful stay. We were fortunate to stay at the ground-floor apartment which has a lovely garden. The weather was very good so we were able to enjoy the garden at breakfast and in the evening.

The apartment has everything we needed and Mr Chouthi was very nice and helpful. We hope to stay here again when we return to London."

Zentral und günstig in London

Wer günstig und stadtnah mit 4 Personen Urlaub in London machen möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben. In Tarifzone 2 ist man in 20 min in Westminster oder in der City, dank der Northern Line ab Tuffnel Park.

Zu diesem Preis wird man in London nur weit entfernte Appartments im Umland finden und investiert dann viel Zeit und Ticketkosten.

Die ausreichend ausgestatte Wohnung mit 2 SZ mit großen Schräken, kompletter Küche mit Spülmaschine und sogar Waschmaschine und Trockner machen auch einen längeren Aufenthalt möglich (und dann wird der Zimmerpreis auch noch wichtiger).

Sehr netter und hilsbereiter Service wurde ebenfalls geboten - danke nochmal dafür.

Die Energiekosten waren trotz täglichen Kochens und Heizens mit ca. £4 täglich günstig und wurden fair nach Verbrauch abgerechnet.

Wer Wert auf eine luxuriöse Ausstattung im Neuzustand legt, sollte anderswo für das Mehrfache des Preises suchen, wer die Wohnung nur als Schlaf- und Essstätte sieht und sein Budget lieber für Shopping und Seightseeing investieren möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Buona soluzione per Londra

Tipica dimora inglese situata in un quartiere tranquillo con metro,bus e market raggiungibili a piedi (5 min). Ideale per il relax serale dopo la full-immersion diurna nel piacevole caos Londinese. Proprietario molto preciso ed altrettanto disponibile (abita a 50 mt). Oltre agli scoiattoli noi in giardino abbiamo visto anche una volpe!!! Secondo me considerando il costo della vita a Londra, per una famiglia (noi siamo in 4) ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

"L''appartement est tres peu equipé (par exemple, il n''y avait que 4 petites cuillères pour 5 personnes et 2 jours de délai pour en obtenir 2 supplémentaires) et internet n''est pas inclus dans la location ou alors il faut payer des charges supplementaires. L''etat des lieux à l''arrivée est sommaire et rien ne nous a été montré concernant les compteurs d''electricité et de gaz, on se trouve donc devant l''obligation de payer des charges dont on ignore si le montant correspond à ce que l''on a consommé ou non

Vrai problème: une grosse fuite d''eau avec la location du dessus: l''eau coulait le long de l''interrupteur et Déo a demandé aux autres locataires de ne pas faire couler l''eau en dehors de la baignoire, sans envisager les reparations

Seul point positif: proximité du centre de Londres

Location à eviter pour être en securité"

Carena Apartments are close to Parliament Hill (previously known as Traitor’s Hill), which was originally a point of defence for troops loyal to parliament during the English Civil War.
