Why Anna Polvanesi chose Siena City Centre
This is the ideal apartment for exploring the gorgeous Gothic jewel that Siena is. The tower of the Church of San Giorgio is part of the apartment's inner structure. The apartment is well cared for, immaculately clean, and reflects the serenity and beauty of Tuscan style.
What makes this Apartment unique
Location, location, location! The presence of the owners nearby is a definite advantage. In spite of its inner town location, the apartment is very quiet. There is every convenience; dishwasher, washing machine, one bath with shower, and one bath has a bathtub. Separate thermostat for heat. In the heat of summer the apartment remains cool.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
We so much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment in Siena. The apartment is so spacious, stylish and spotless. It is very conveniently located for exploring all of Siena. We were able to find free parking on the street in the Porta Pispini area just outside the city walls. From there it is short walk to the apartment. Anna and Franco are delightful and helpful hosts. I highly recommend this property.
Very clean property, definitely would stay again. Proprietors Anna and Frank give great information about local history and sites. Siena is great. The only thing I can fault, parking is 5-10 minutes away. The property is outstanding!
You'll be happy you choose Casa Chiara
Anna and Franco were very welcoming and helpful to the 4 of us women. Anna's English was wonderful! They provided a map and then reviewed all the sites and locations that they thought would be of interest to us. The apartment was very spacious, clean and met all our needs. The location was superb for exploring the historical area of Siena. Los of restaurants and take out food conveniently available. We would highly recommend staying at Casa Chiara.
Anna and Franco were perfect hosts. The apartment is so convenient to the heart of Siena. We wished we could stay longer. We stayed 5 nights. There is a separate charge for gas for heat. Heat cost $25.00 for 5 nights at end of March/beginning of April but we kept it very low and only used it at night.
Lovely Large Apartment Close to Everything
This property is in an ideal location to discover Siena. The owners are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, incredibly helpful and full of information. From helping us with our bags to providing detailed information regarding the museums, churches, restaurants and scenic walks, we fell in love with this lovely couple and Siena. The apartment’s authenticity is in keeping with other Italian homes I have seen. A combination of antiques and more modern appliances was terrific and the kitchen is well-stocked. If you’re going to Siena this is the place to stay!
Classic Tuscan apartment!
We highly recommend staying in this beautiful apartment!
Our family of 5 (myself, my husband, and our 3 adult children) had a special Christmas in Siena thanks to Anna and Franco. Even before we arrived, Anna was a tremendous help to book restaurants for our arrival night and Christmas Eve night. She had one lined up for Christmas Day, but we decided to cook in the apartment for a very nice meal.
The building is an old convent, and the apartment was wonderful-spacious & beautiful with old furniture pieces and art. It's on a quiet street-a 5 minute walk to the Piazzo del Campo. The grocery store is a minute away, and there are plenty of smaller shops nearby.
Anna & Franco spent time to show us how everything works, and gave us an orientation to Siena with its main sites-all walking distance. They live just a floor below, and were very helpful to confirm our restaurant reservations.
On our departure day, they allowed us to keep our luggage at the apartment till our train time. They arranged transport for us to the station, and both Anna and Franco saw us off on the street. We felt like we made new friends! We would definitely return to them!
Grazie Mary per la tua meravigliosa recensione!
Franco ed io saremo molto felici di ospitare tutti voi, i nostri nuovi amici, ancora nel futuro!
Un abbraccio affettuoso
Visit Siena during Palio period, so on July 2nd and August 16th. Palio is the world famous traditional horse race held in Piazza del Campo. Visit Siena also on Christmas time: the city has got a very amazing atmosphere.
