About Janet Dawe
Born and raised in Padstow, we have spent all our lives living and working in the town. Both of our children have grown up here, our son now working with us in our Electrical Contracting business which we have been operating for thirty years. We have seen Padstow grow and change over the years and have a wealth of knowledge of the immediate area and the local community.
Janet Dawe purchased this Apartment in 1999
Why Janet Dawe chose Padstow
50 Church Street has been a family home for nearly fifty years. In 1999 we decided to start a bed and breakfast business, while the children were young and began a modernisation project that has been on-going since! After 16 years of offering bed and breakfast to many guests, we felt ready for a change and so the idea of a self-catering apt was born. The house is spacious and ideally located, and has been enjoyed and shared by plenty of visitors - many of whom have returned as friends over the years. The apt will allow the house to be shared and enjoyed by new and old guests in the coming years.
What makes this Apartment unique
The most unique feature, is the fact that we are a local family living and working in the old part of town, sharing our knowledge and hospitality with visitors that wish to experience our part of the county.

Amazingly clean beautiful apartment, Janet is a great host :)
Every year for 10 years we have been coming to Padstow for the New Year and it never seizes to amaze us how great it is, with the amazing walks, views, restaurants, bars and so many things to do in Cornwall and towns to see it truly is beautiful....We will return to Cornwall and if the 2 of us again we will not hesitate to stay in Janet's apartment again, nothing was too much hassle and the bed, oh my was so comfortable which made it hard to get out of, I thank you for making our stay another great one in Padstow. Many Thanks, Lisa & Martin

Winter Weekend in Padstow
Arrived late on Thursday night and Janet was waiting to welcome us. Apartment is great, just right for a couple on a weekend / longer break, everything is spotless and the living room / bedroom very comfortable and well appointed.
No.50 is a few minutes walk to Padstow so very handy for everything. parking is a two minute walk from No 50 on the other side of the St Petroc's Church.
Janet is a great host who provided useful local information for walks / parking / events etc.
Perfect weekend break!
We had a lovely stay, Janet made sure we had everything we needed.
The flat had everything you needed, it was a short walk from the harbour. Would highly recommend
The accommodation is first class in an excellent location. The owner is friendly, welcoming and helpful.
This property is great, really home from home.
First impressions are always the best and this place certainly does not disappoint. It has all the amenities you would want, very convenient for the town centre, just a gentle walk down the hill.
The place is exceptionally clean and very welcoming.
Janet greeted us on arrival and recommended where to park our car.
Our only regret is that we did not book a longer stay.
Located in the older part of Padstow, directly opposite the Parish Church of St Petroc. Good selection of popular restaurants, shops and pubs within a very easy walking distance on and around the harbour area. Church Street is quietly situated yet ideally located for all the town amenities. The Saints Way, a pilgrimage route between Padstow and Fowey, on the South Coast, begins directly opposite at St Petroc's church. The town beaches are easily reached by foot in about fifteen minutes, and the ferry to Rock, with walks to Daymer Bay and Polzeath is a short ten minute walk onto the harbour.
