One section of the terrace is a solarium, while the other section is a summer terrace. Note: 1 square metre = 10 feet approximately. This spacious apartment, located in a quiet residential boutique development of just 9 apartments overlooking the Bay, boasts over 91square metres of living space and is accessed through an exclusive gated entrance with underground parking and cellar. There are also picturesque gardens and of course an outdoor pool. It is an oasis of peace and tranquility, yet located within a 3 minute walk of the town centre and its amenities i.e. restaurants, bars, shops, port and beach, park etc. Therefore, a car is not an essential requirement. It is also ideally located to the famous school 'Institut Francais'.
This apartment has been renovated with no expense spared. All fabrics are top quality with top of the range furniture and fittings. The view from the terrace can only be described as breathtaking ! The property is ideally located with magnificent gardens and an outdoor pool. It is an extremely private yet centrally located property in the town centre of Villefranche, (Basse Corniche).

This apartment has one of the best views in Villefranche which can only be truly appreciated while sitting on the wraparound L shaped terrace. It is located centrally in the village and situated close to all amenities on foot. The bus stop and shops are only a 5 minute walk away. There is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool which can be used by guests and lounge chairs are provided. There is also an underground parking space for guests to use if driving a car.

Great location and view, superb apartment with everything we needed for a weeks holiday.
The apartment was well appointed, clean and spacious with a wonderful view from the large balcony. There is lots to see and do with great transport along the coast.

An excellent location and lovely apartment
The apartment was very comfortable with great views. A good location, so long as your legs can cope with short but steep climbs/descents into town! It was very good to have easy car parking and our own garage. The swimming pool was always very quiet during our stay, so was like our personal garden. A very good base from which to enjoy all that Villefranche has to offer.
Excellent apartment, great place
We had a fabulous holiday.
The apartment was spacious and well-equipped. The large balcony and the sea views were a delight and we loved watching the cruise ships coming into the bay. The garage was a valuable benefit. The agent was very friendly and helpful.
Villefranche is an ideal spot for a holiday, with plenty to see and great for walking and sightseeing. It was easy to get to Nice, Monaco and Menton by car, train or the frequent bus services. The town itself offered a wide range of restaurants and small shops within easy reach down the hill on foot.
We highly recommend this apartment and will gladly return there in the future.
FABULOUS APARTMENT IN VILLEFRANCHE!
We stayed at La Colline for a week in June and it was simply perfect! My family had never done a vacation apartment rental before, and after this experience, I don't think we'll ever book a hotel again.
The apartment is spacious and well equipped and the view is nothing short of spectacular. We ate breakfast on the wraparound deck every morning - it was hard to leave the apartment and go sightseeing with a view like that! Our young daughters had good sleeps in the twin beds in the second bedroom. And the AC in the master bedroom proved useful on a couple of warm evenings. Patrick and Lucy Travers were polite during our phone chats ahead of our trip, and provided us with detailed instructions and info, and the gentleman Frank who met us at La Colline with keys was kind, and also incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations, directions...etc. The walk to the centre of town is about ten minutes and includes a couple of hikes down fairly steep stairways. There's a wonderful Boulangerie about a five minute walk away, so breakfasts consisted of chocolate croissants and fresh baguettes. While we only made it to the pool once, it made for a nice afternoon. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to La Colline. In fact, I'm fantasizing about it right now!
You could not get a better view
The apartment enjoys a stunning location with a panoramic view over the bay.There is an extensive terrace to enjoy this view and we ate most meals here, although we did dine out a few times. The apartment wants for nothing in terms of equipment. We didn't take advantage of the television; the view was entertaining enough! The wi-fi reception was excellent and the garage facility was a major bonus in this bustling town.
Villefranche has a great deal to offer, both as a place to explore and to enjoy the many excellent restaurants.
A return train journey to Monaco from the local station was 6 euros each; this is quite a bargain compared with the cost of parking.
One thing to bear in mind, the walk back to the apartment from the town is short but quite steep, so may not suit everyone.
All in all this was a fantastic place to stay and we hope to return in the next year or two.
Fabulous - however . .
I stayed here for over two weeks last September. The apartment, its views, terraces and décor are all absolutely fabulous. The apartment is very well equipped and I cannot think of anything else it needed. I spent many hours sitting on the balcony enjoying the view sipping a rose wine. The main reason I chose this apartment, however, was that it indicated it had a pool. When I went to use it, however, it was clear that it had not been operational for quite some time. I spoke to the property manager and he indicated there was a crack that was probably not repairable. So, aside from everything else being beyond perfect, the fact that a pool had been advertised but was not usable was very disappointing.
We are delighted that you really enjoyed your stay at 'La Colline' last September, that the apartment was fully equipped for your needs and that you were able to enjoy the fabulous views from the spacious balcony. We always strive to please our customers and maintain the apartment to the highest standards and we are very pleased to receive your excellent customer feedback. However, we are disappointed that that outdoor pool was not in service at the time of your stay. The pool is fully operational and maintained from May-September by the building management company. Unfortunately, at the time of your holiday, there was a fault with the pool which caused it to be unserviceable. As you can appreciate, this was outside our control but we are disappointed that we were not informed of this problem by our local agent in Villefranche. so that we could have given you some advance notice. This fault has now been repaired for the coming 2015 Summer season. We understand how it may have detracted from your holiday and we offer you our sincere apologies on this occasion. We look forward to welcoming you at some time in the future when you will have full access to the outdoor pool facilities.
This luxury apartment is situated in probably the most picturesque little town on the Cote d'Azur. Villefranche-sur-Mer is located between Nice and Monaco (Monte-Carlo). The Port, the Old town and the Citadel all date back to 1300 BC, with some streets unchanged for 500 years. The towns of St. Jean Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu are both only a 3 minute drive away (20 minutes by foot), while Nice and Monaco are each a 15 minute drive. Nice International Airport is only 15 kilometres away. Known as the 'Golden Triangle', this area is considered to be the most exclusive part of the French Riviera and is truly one of the world's great locations. La Colline apartment is located on Rue Victor Cauvin which is very centrally located and only a 5 minute walk to the main street in Villefranche. It is a quiet residential area and the apartment is situated in a boutique residence of only 9 apartments all having unrivalled views of the Bay of Villefranche. It is only a 5 minute walk to the bus stops to Monaco/Menton/Nice on main street and to the nearest supermarket, pharmacy, hairdressers, cafe and the local park and farmer's market. The train station in Villefranche, the Port, the Citadel, old town and local restaurants are only a 10 minute walk on foot. You can have the best of both worlds in this luxury apartment by staying in a luxury residence with a magnificent terrace and outdoor pool, yet only a stone's throw from all the center of Villefranche.
