About Teresa Teagle
The Lodge at Georgetown was built by our two families. We met in 1992 and were fast friends. In 1997 we decided to purchase land together on 'water' after looking around for awhile, we came to Georgetown and fell in love with it! We cleared trees, pulled stumps and started the building process---a labor of love. Between the two families, we had 6 small children at the time. We wives would take turns having all the kids on the weekend while the other one worked or caught up on life. The dedicated guys would work during the week in Missoula preparing things for the weekend where they would head up on a Friday afternoon and return dog tired on Sunday evening to start all over again. This went on for most of the weeks of the previous year (they built the boat house first so could camp out there during their build time) by May '00 we officially moved in! The next year we decided to try and rent it with a management company.... The internet was not as friendly to use as it is today. We rented the property for many years( till December 2014) with the same company but over the years as we have traveled, we have noticed that our company has our property on VRBO and Homeaway and they were getting less direct referrals so we decided to try on our own in 2015 as we have been missing having a little more connection with our guests. We two families have stayed great friends over the years and enjoy sharing our home with others.
Teresa Teagle purchased this House in 98
Why Teresa Teagle chose Anaconda
With 120ft of lake frontage with a sandy beach Fire pit, grassy area and a private dock... This really is one of the nicest water fronts on Georgetown. The home has been very well maintained and we spend a good portion of rental income improving or maintaining the property to our high standards. We wish we could take our 5 star rating with us but we keep a guest book at the house and here are some of the things they are saying 'Everything was so nice and I love the way you decorated it! We have never stayed in such a well equipped home' 'I have stayed all over the states and Alaska in places similar to this and have never been so pleased with the accommodations' 'most relaxing week of my life' 'The house is amazing, Definitely the nicest place we have ever stayed in! You had everything we needed' 'The house was well thought out down to the smallest details' 'This house is awesome, completely stocked, clean, and beautiful!'
What makes this House unique
From the foundation, to the paint, to the decorations...we had a hand in it all! We take great pride in this home and have continued to make our own great family memories here. Our children are almost grown and we look forward to the cycle continuing and many more memories.

Loved Lake Lodge Anaconda
We absolutely LOVED our family mini-Vacay in this beautiful home on George Town Lake in Anaconda Montana! We are already planning our next visit to stay there. This home had everything we needed. The location & views are spectacular!
We are looking forward to your next visit as well!
Family ski trip
Great location for skiing at Discovery. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group. We all gathered around the over-sized counter for meals. Kitchen was well equipped. Disappointed that there wasn’t any recycling for cans, bottles & paper.
Thanks Rhonda.. glad you had a good time. Sorry you were disappointed about recycling. We actually do have a separate small trashcan in garage for cans and unfortunately no one will take glass anymore and we have to bring back home to recycle but sounds like I need to mark containers better. We burn cardboard as firestarters down by the firepit. Thanks for suggestions.
Great location for our family reunion. Sledding, skiing - both XC and alpine, ice fishing and skating, all within a few minutes. House was very well stocked and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!
Glad you all had a good time.
The ice fishing seems like has been a popular sport this year!
Montanna boating Trip To Georgetown Lake
The House sure made this trip. It was stocked with everything, even the sand toys for our 5 year old daughter. Thanks for making a family of 6 from Alaska, really enjoy a long Montana Boating Weekend.
Thank you for taking time to review your stay.
Alaska is on the bucket list for sure some day for us to visit your beautiful state.
Perfect family vacation!!
This is our second time at the Lake Lodge, both times it was perfect. We had 19 people in Aug, 2015 and 16 this July , 2018. The house has everything you might possibly need, enough room for everyone to spread out and relax or all be together. The beach is perfect for adults and children. My grandkids played on the beach everyday almost all day long. It is a beautiful house and the scenery is amazing. Close to Anaconda and Phillipsburg. The only bad thing is, it is so hard to leave and go home (: Thanks for sharing your beautiful Lake Lodge!!
Thanks for taking the time to write a review joyce!
We were excited to have you back!
We look forward to the next time!
Every year our family gathers for a week in Montana, usually at our home near Boulder, MT. This year we were able to rent the Lake Lodge. It was everything we hoped for. The house was large enough to accomdate our whole group comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed was there. The house was clean and orderly. Our favorite part, however, was the beach and water. We arrived at 5:00 pm and the boats and paddle boards and kayaks were in the water by 5:30 - the kids didn’t waste a minute of daylight. Most days we were out on the lake from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm. It rained one day but we ran to Phillipsburg and visited the candy store as a distraction for the kids. We planned on hiking and exploring the area, but no one wanted to leave the beach! It was perfect. Thank you, Teresa, your home felt like our home!
Thank you Marla
Glad you had a great week!
Family time is the best time!
Hope we can be of service in future vacations!
