Barn Owl Cottage is a lovely barn conversion, sleeping four people, on a beautiful Norfolk farm in the heart of Norfolk, near Aylsham.
The kitchen-diner has been well equipped to make your self-catering stay as comfortable as possible including a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, as well as a good range of cooking equipment.
Each cottage has two bedrooms, one king-size/twin and one twin. All linen is 100% cotton.
The bathrooms each have a basin, toilet, bath and shower and there is also a separate WC and basin. Towels are provided.
The sitting room is extremely light with French windows leading onto the garden. It is equipped with a flat-screen television, DVD player (bring your own DVDs), plus a projector and sound system for a home cinema experience. There are also a variety of games, books and children's toys.
Outside there is a private enclosed garden and the farm is situated in open country.
A nearby barn has been converted into a games room with a pool table and table tennis for guests use. Please bring non-marking shoes to use on the wood floor. A piano and practice room is also available for musicians on request.
The cottages are powered by an air-source heat pump, immensely well insulated and has many other features that mean a holiday at North Farm is a great environmentally-friendly option for a holiday.
It can be rented alongside Kingfisher Cottage (ref 6109260) (an identical mirror image of Barn Owl Cottage) to provide accommodation for up to 8 people. Ideal for groups of family or friends who love to be together but also have their own space.
To make travelling easier for families, a wide range of equipment from travel cots to ride-on tractors, bedguards to bumbos can be provided free of charge.
Both cottages are located on the beautiful North Farm which is also home to a number of resident artists, including a stone-carver and potter. Guests are welcome to explore the farm and meet the resident artists and/ or animals, depending on what they are interested in!
North Farm is situated in the lovely Norfolk countryside. Guests can spot all sorts of wildlife during the day and stargaze at night, with no streetlights to spoil the view. The lovely North Norfolk Coast and the famous broads only a short drive away. The pretty market town of Aylsham is 3 miles away with a host of independent shops and great markets.
