Great home, Great location

  • 5 of 5

Went for a long weekend to do some distillery tours and spend some time in Lexington. Home was very well appointed and suited our needs well. Game room in the detached garage was a nice area to hang out at. In a beautiful area of older homes. Within walking distance of just about anything you would want to do in downtown. The owner was very responsive, helpful, and provided some great recommendations. Highly recommend this home.

Beautiful historic house in the heart of Lexington

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this gracious house with three couples for a 4-day weekend. We loved that we could walk to interesting historic areas in Lexington with plenty of access to good restaurants. The house is well-suited for three couples with the three bedrooms / private suites. The owner is very response to questions. The house was clean and had a good parking spot.

Beautiful home in excellent location

  • 5 of 5

This older home home is beautifully appointed and was clearly lovingly restored. All the finishes were 5 star worthy. The home was spacious and very comfortable for a large group. I had some friends over and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. We had a lot of fun in the man cave. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars in the near by downtown area. The short comings of the property is that the parking is mostly on street with an area for one car to be parked in the rear but it is tight. It is a great location but as it is downtown their were some unsavory characters about so I would encourage any future renters to keep the doors locked at all times and the back gate closed. I went to school around the corner and the area is very safe but every community has trouble makers.

Excellent stay

  • 5 of 5

A group of five of us stayed and had an excellent stay. The property is beautiful and the owner is extremely accommodative. I could not give our stay a better review. The location is also ideal as it is in the historic district yet a very short walk to the downtown area. The owner has really gone above and beyond in terms of the furniture, keeping the property clean, the kitchen features, etc.

Beautiful Historic Home

  • 5 of 5

This georgeous historic house has period antiques, comfortable furniture, plenty of seating and the best up-to-date kitchen and bathrooms. The owner couldn't have been anymore accommodating, made dinner reservations for us, and encouraged us to call with any questions of which we never had to bother him. Mew had a great female cousin reunion. Let me say that all of the bedrooms are upstairs, so that may be an issue for some people; however, the ac worked great upstairs and down and it was in the 90's while we were there. The property was very clean and well-maintained with beautiful flowers blooming on the large front porch. We were within walking distance of several restaurants. We ate at Nick Ryan's restaurant and it was delicious. Parking is not discussed on the web and the driveway is too narrow, therefore all cars must parallel park on the street. We pick up two people from the airport which was only 15 minutes away.

Feels like home..

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a long weekend staying in this gorgeous home. It is always a relief when the home looks just like the pictures online. We felt like we were staying at a friend's home. Fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed. Awesome comfy beds and luxury baths. Spent time relaxing on the front porch and in the sunroom. (Backyard is still under construction, but I'm sure it will be just as nice as the rest of the home.) Location could not be better. We walked to breakfast, lunch and dinner and toured the neighborhoods and downtown Lexington. Also an easy drive to Keeneland and Woodford Reserve Distillery. Definitely recommend this home for a stay in Lexington.
