Serene, beautiful grounds, well maintained gîte

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Sylvie and Gérard's gîte for three nights in Sept. of 2016. We found the property to be just as described and well maintained. Sylvie greeted us and was very hospitable. We enjoyed the tour, champagne tasting and visiting the fields during harvest and the crush. We would return at any opportunity.

Great spot in the middle of Champagne country!

  • 4 of 5

Located in a small village with easy access by road to the Champagne area. The unit was clean and well equipped for an extended stay. Nice outdoor patio and yard. Owner speaks good English and gave a tour of their small winery. Be aware of an extra charge for linens and cleaning.

A small preview of heaven

  • 5 of 5

Great holiday. We loved our hosts, the house has all the required amenities including washing machine. We travelled all over Champagne by car. Came "home" to quiet evenings with a fire. The "vendanges" were over so no traffic problems. We decided on one floor each to have private bathrooms. Stairs are well designed and easy not always the case for tall people.

My husband and I and our adult niece and nephew loved this place. It is recently renovated & clean. Kitchen is well-equipped. Lovely patio with garden where we had dinner each night. In a small village but near bigger ones and restaurants close. There was a festival in town when we arrived, but otherwise very quiet area. Wish we had planned to stay longer. Highly recommend and champagne was very good too! Thanks to Sylvie for the tour of the champagne winery.

Excellent vacation cottage

  • 5 of 5

We were very impressed with the beautiful gite that we stayed in. The hosts, Gerard & Sylvie, were wonderful; we enjoyed learning about their making of champagne. The area was full of history and we would recommend this cottage to any who are able to spend time in the Champagne region of France. Not too far from Paris, but still out in the rural countryside. If we ever return to this area, we will definitely stay here again.
