Bob and Stephanie Ambrozy. We have been happily married for 9 years and have 3 beautiful children. Although we rent our home for most of the time, we do reserve 2 weeks every summer at our home because we love it so much. The kids can't get enough of all the interesting beaches and things to do. The Memories are so grand! We would like you to have the best possible experience at our home so know that we will always be reachable by cell/text/email. We also have a caretaker on the island that can help you with any emergency needs. :)
Stephanie purchased this house in 2005
My husband's cousin owned a bed n breakfast in Vineyard Haven that we visited often. We realized that we needed to own a piece of this beautiful land and share it with our growing family! :)
Our Vineyard Haven home is only 1 mile from the town and beach! It is so wonderful to wake up in the morning and walk into town for some fresh coffee and bagels (or maybe something gluten free! Sometimes I'll take the kids to the library to pick out books then off to Owen beach (right down the street) for a little crabbing. It's just so great to have the option of walking instead of driving! When we bring our English Mastiff to MV, we'll take him to Owen beach or Lake Tashmoo for the much needed Vineyard air.!
Interaction with owner is very easy. The house is very close to town, but still very quiet. On a little cul de sac with three homes, so stick ball is usually the game of the day. House is very nice, great grill, and plenty of room for everyone. I have rented there twice and never had an issue.
We had a very nice stay in Vineyard Haven on Irene's Way. Very close to town and Lake Tashmoo for sunsets! Main Street is within biking distance or walking if you like a nice long walk through the town. The house was very nice and clean. Bedrooms were nice size and the back deck was an extra added bonus. We spent most of our "lounging" on the back deck. I would recommend this rental. We even had a slight problem with electric and owners were very quick to respond and help.
This was our first vacation on Martha's Vineyard with our family and we already miss the island. This property was perfect for our family which consists of 2 college aged sons and one high school daughter. The home was clean, open and airy with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and it was stocked with everything you could need and then some, including local maps and guide books which we used often. It was close enough to town for convenience but far enough away to afford peace and quiet. Having wi-fi available was an added perk. We spent our days exploring all sides of the island and towns each with their own unique character, but it was so nice to have a comfortable quiet spot to come home to each night. My husband and I were truly spoiled by the king sized bed and the secluded sitting area in the master bedroom. The kids were spoiled by the ping pong table in the basement. The owners were so helpful and available to answer questions and we felt more like we were using a friend's house then renting. If you visit the island, my one recommendation would be to take the small ferry out to "Chappy" and enjoy a day on the beach at this secluded spot. Pack a cooler, and just enjoy the pristine water and sand, truly spectacular and shouldn't be missed.
We went to Martha's Vineyard this past August. We have never been before and it was such.an amazing.place we will definitely go back. The house we stayed in was absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating, the home owners have thought of everything!!!!!! I was extremely impressed. From the.out door furniture to the beach supplies!!!! They even had extra.batteries. Which came in handy for one of our kids games. The property was immaculate!!!!! Since we had never been there before we wanted to get the ultimate MV experience and that was so easy to do since the.homeowners left a very user friendly MV guide book. This book had everything you would ever need to know about the island. They home is.also equipped with wifi. When we got there it wasn't working right away so I contacted the homeowners immediately. They were able to fix the problem within minutes. ( we were.putting.in the wrong password) We went with another family and a.nanny and we had.plenty of room for all of us.including.our.dog!!!!!! Martha's vineyard.is.such a quaint, charming town however I know that if we.had.not.stayed at this lovely home we would.not have had as great of.a time as we did. We will definitely.be back and we will.only stay here. I high recommend staying.here especially if you want the ultimate Martha's Vineyard experience.
A very satisfied customer!!!!!
Great place to stay in Martha's Vineyard, especially before or after summer crowds. Very peaceful, beautiful rooms, great master bedroom. Clean and roomy!
Just wanted you to know that we had an awesome time at the MV house. It
was beautiful! We have the same sunny yellows in our home in Virginia - our
favorite color! We had no problems at the house at all. We fell in love with Lake Tashmoo and after 35 years of coming to the Vineyard, I think it's our new favorite spot. We went clamming, had bbqs on the beach, watched 2 sunsets and an amazing storm, and even did a sunset kayak tour with Island Spirit. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.
Owen Beach - kids catch crabs and swim out to floating dock (less than 1 mile from our home)
