This private, cozy 1BR unit, approximately 540 sq. ft. (50 m2) is at your full disposal.
There is a large mirrored closet with sliding doors in the entryway. In the main room, there is a comfy queen size bed, a convertible futon (sleeps two), roomy dresser with eight drawers and a flat-screen TV. In the kitchen, there is a fridge, microwave, electric stove, tea kettle and all the dishes and cutlery you will need. Fully updated bathroom has a bathtub, shower and toilet. The bathroom also has a mirror, towels and disposable slippers.
You will find fresh bread, cheese, deli, yogurt and Czech beer upon your arrival to the apartment. There is always coffee, tea, sugar and salt in the kitchen cabinet.
Tickets, good for one public transit ride in Prague, will be prepared for you. The location of the nearest ticket booths, ATMs, stores and restaurants is marked on the map that you will find at the apartment.
The main room window faces the courtyard and the park - which is really nice, since this 5-story building is located on a busy street, but the apartment is quiet at all times, especially since this is the only unit on the top floor. Your view includes the red roofs, so characteristic of Prague. The building could use a fresh coat of paint, so could the elevator but that will not reflect on your stay in any way.
There is a safe deposit box in the apartment - you set your own code.
Wi-fi and cable available 24/7.
There is also a nice playground for the kids to run around and play in the Jezerka park behind the building.
If you need anything else please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Check in at 3pm (15.00), check out at 12 pm (12.00)
I love to spend time with family, travel, people, new experiences, learning, nature, practical or historical books.
We are easygoing hosts (my dad Alex and I) and try to accommodate everyone as much as possible.
Daria purchased this apartment in 2014
We have this apartment because part of my family still lives in Prague, and I enjoy coming to visit!
It's modern and clean, cozy and comfortable... You will enjoy it's proximity to the center, but still having privacy and peace when needed.
Your place is lovely and so MANY nice things you do for your visitors made me very interested. I was impressed with what you do as my family rents my parents' home on Cape Cod. We know what goes into making visitors' time pleasant and you do a lot.
I wish you success and happiness.
Apartment was just as described. I needed late check-in and organizing this with Alex was easy. Also I requested later check-out, because my flight back home left late in the evening. Organizing this was also easy and communication with Alex worked like a charm. By getting couple of hours later check-out I could enjoy one more day seeing Prague without having to drag luggage with me. I appreciate this flexibility. Tram station was right next to apartment and when I learned to use Prague Public Transport it was easy and fast to get to places without too much walking :)
Also grocery store was right next to apartment, opposite side of street so it was easy to get what you needed from there.
Property was well maintained and clean, but I have one suggestion for improvements: Toilet seat is in too tight space. I'm a man with "normal" height of 182 cm. When using toilet seat knees hit bath tub and that made using toilet little problematic. I would turn the toilet seat 90 degrees to give more room for legs.
I can recommend this property to everyone and I consider using this again should I come to Prague sometime again :)
PS. I would have given 5 stars, but this toilet seat dropped one star from rating.
Daria's apartment was a very nice, clean and roomy apartment as was shown. The kitchen has everything you need and is clean. It is in a quiet building close to transit. Daria was attentive to questions and helpful. You have to take transit to get into the city centre and tourist sites which is ok, but the transit system is complicated for English speaking people. The building is in need of repairs and the lighting at night isn't great when coming in after dark, but the apartment itself is great.
Daria was very helpful in guiding us to find the apartment easily. The apartment is large and clean with easy access to city transit and grocery stores. We had a great time in Prague and we felt like home in our rental.
The appartment was what we hoped for,we missed anything. It was just perfect. Thank you Daria and Alex for rented us your appartment and for your warm welcome!
Thank you Daria! You have a wonderful place in a wonderful city. Alex was a lot of help in many ways. Your apartment was exactly as described and fit our needs perfectly. Thank you and Alex again for allowing us to share your apartment in Prague!
Please note: It takes 11-12 minutes to ride from the apartment building to the Wenceslas square, that does NOT include waiting for the tram to arrive. You can always check the schedule ahead of time and come downstairs just in time to catch it.
It would take you about 35 minutes to walk to the center.
The Nusle neighborhood is one of the most attractive areas in Prague, where the medieval architecture and modern infrastructure mix. The apartment building is over a hundred years old, and so are the surrounding buildings.
There is a restaurant serving traditional Czech dishes on the ground floor of the building. There are various shops, restaurants, bakeries, ATMs, household services, and bus stops and street car stations all along the street.
A lovely park, called Jezerka, is situated right next to the building – you can see it right out of the Nuselska apartment window, it is a wonderful place to take a stroll and relax in any season.
Prague boasts an excellent public transit system. The streetcar station is located right by the building. Within a few minutes you can get to National Theater (Národní divadlo) station by streetcar route 6 and walk out to the Charles Bridge (Karlův most). Or, take route 11 to the National museum (Národní muzeum), station Muzeum, and walk out to Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí). At night, route 56 stops at the same station.
