Good place to stay
Clean appartment near Termini train station. It has all you need to enjoy your stay in Rome.
Amazing! Recommend this two bedroom apartment
The owner was very helpful and understanding when we had a delay on our arrival. She was extremely friendly and helpful with questions related to, not only the apartment, but also our stay in Rome and travel details.
The apartment was clean and spacious. The high ceilings and large doorways felt like we were staying in a majestic building.
My family of four enjoyed the extra space to spread out including a dine in kitchen and living room with a dining area. Having twin beds in the second bed room for my teens was helpful. AC was wonderful on hot days in summer.
Location was ideal. Small market across the street and little sandwich shop a few doors down were helpful for breakfast and evening snacks.
Only a 5 minutes walk from termini bus/train station to the apartment. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Giulia was very welcoming and gave lots of advice. We walked everywhere. Only 15 minutes to coloseum, 30 minutes to trevi fountain and pantheon and a further 30 minutes to the Vatican. In the evening there were many good local restaurants to choose from, not too expensive, serving pizzas and pasta. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rome.
This apartment is situated nr Terminii and is an easy 20min stroll down to the Colesseum. We didn't bother with the bus or metro as found walking around so easy, about 1hr walk to Vatican city via the Trevi fountain. We managed to walk 40miles over 3 days but covered the whole of the centre and the parks. We ate in the restaurants nr to the apartment there is a lot of choice whichever way you go.
Make sure you book tickets for Colesseum and Vatican before you go and avoid the 'free' sundays as will be too busy. We still had to queue for 45mins to clear security at the Colesseum but collecting tickets was easy. We went straight into the Vatican with our pre booked tickets but it was extremely busy inside as you can't get around the big tour groups which spoilt the experience. We don't like organised tours and downloaded the Rick Steves audio guides to our mobiles for the Vatican, Colesseum, Roman Forum, Sistine Chapel and Pantheon - they were excellent guides.
We booked our airport transfer with Rome Shuttle Limousine for 50E each way for 4 of us, cheaper than the Leonardo Express train for 4 of us. Highly recommend this company they were excellent.
Giulia was an excellent host and waited til 11.30pm in the apartment for us to arrive as plane was delayed. We were also able to leave our bags on the day we departed until we were picked up.
I would thoroughly recommend this apartment as a central base whilst visiting Rome.
Great Apartment in Convenient Location
My friend and I, two 60+ women, stayed in this apartment May 2018. Our first time in Rome, we were a bit hesitant to go with an apartment rather than hotel. We were both very glad we chose this place! Great location, very safe, great set up, very helpful landlord in Giulia. It really does look exactly like the pictures! We were able to walk everywhere except the Vatican, but the close proximity to Termini make it easy to take the Metro if you prefer. Another reviewer mentioned noise from the restaurant below. While this is true, shutting the windows eliminates most of the noise. Lots (and I do mean lots!) of restaurants nearby as well as several markets. Please note that there is an elevator, but it is necessary to go up a few steps to get to it.
Thanks, Guilia, for both the terrific apartment and your help.
Lots of room for everything and convenient to all transportation. Restaurant on the far corner is filled with locals and serves delicious dishes.
