The building is a Sevillian “casa/corral de vecinos”, which is a singular typology of the beginning of the 20th Century (1902). It was completely rebuilt in 2006, maintaining the original structure and essence but with all the comfort of modern life, and so allowing a unique and cozy stay.

To make your stay pleasant, there is a lift at your disposal, and you can also enjoy the furnished roof terrace anytime during your stay, to sunbathe, have breakfast, dinner or just a glass of wine in the warm and clear evenings.

A very well-run place!

I spent 5 nights in a studio apartment here. This is a rental apartment complex, with various sizes of apartments and a publicly available sun patio on the roof. There's a central elevator linking all the floors together.

The apartment was very intelligently laid out, with a clear sleeping area and a cooking/eating area and of course a bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean, and it is clear that the owners/managers have paid a great deal of attention to comfortable details. So although the furniture is from Ikea, it is all very comfortable, and the bed mattress, pillows and linens are great quality. There are multiple cooking devices in the small kitchen, from an Italian coffee machine to an electric kettle and even an electric juicer, and Maria even supplied washing powder for the laundry! The only thing I didn't find (so I bought it and left it in the apartment) was a wine-bottle opener. I'm sure that was just a fluke!

I really appreciated the fact that both Marias were available by text, email or phone for everything--I only took advantage of this for my taxi to the airport when I left, but it was very reassuring. I also really appreciated the time that Maria spent giving me an orientation to the Seville area and to the tourism and food options nearby.

I stayed here for a conference taking place at the Barcelo hotel just over the river--it was an ideal location, just 15 minutes walk or about 7 minutes by bus. It took a bit longer to get down to the tourist areas, but the bus connections are fantastic, and the bus system is very affordable. For practicalities like food, there are two nearby supermarkets and lots of other shopping and restaurants within an easy 3-5 minute walk, and even a market hall nearby.

I would strongly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Seville, especially if they are in the city for a conference at the Barcelo. Its location is ideal, the hosts are friendly and helpful, and it is quite reasonably priced.

Great place, Great people

Calle Peral 56 is a great little suite, in a great neighbourhood, with even greater management. The Marias are delightful. But don't tell too many people, because I want the place to be available the next time I want to visit.

Perfect stay on Sevilla

The description was accurate regarding location, layout and amenities but couldn't convey the comfortable relaxed feeling of the apartment. It is truly a home away from home. The apartment was clean, well maintained and the kitchen had everything required for preparing small meals to eat at home. Maria was very welcoming, provided advice before and upon my arrival regarding various activities in the area. She also recommended great eating places and tours. I plan on returning in the future and would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family.

Great location, bright and clean with superb service, plus air conditioning!

What a find. Walking distance to everything, but a quiet street off Feria. Fully-appointed, comfortable (firm) bed, feather pillows - I'm a stickler about a good night's sleep. Warm and friendly service, fluent in English. I'll be back and my local friends in the area are going to recommend, too!

Outstanding Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this studio apt. Maria met us at the apartment and showed us around and made sure that we knew where everything was and how they worked. Maria was warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I have used VRBO probably about a dozen times and I have to say that this was the best customer focused service that I have ever received. The apartment was clean, and it was located in the best part of the city with so many little bars and restaurants just minutes away. There was storage space for our things so even though it was a studio we felt it was fairly roomy. Duo Tapes and Sedonia were our favorite tapas places. It was a 10-15 min walk to the "touristy" area but after a day of walking we were so happy to return to our apt before we ventured out for supper. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

A great place to stay

Our studio was comfortable, clean and well equipped, and we made good use of the roof terrace. Our host, Maria, was very welcoming and helpful, and it was reassuring that her assistance was available whenever needed. There are also plenty of local bars, restaurants and shops. We'd definitely go back there and recommend it to anyone wanting to explore this lovely city.

Seville is destination of national and international travellers, which come attracted by its charming architecture and art, its traditionally Spanish neighbourhoods, its lively environment, flamenco shows and tasty tapas. The city is also well known for its two biggest festivities: Easter (Holy Week) and the April Fair, both full of colour, music and passion.

The apartment is located in the North quarter of the old city centre, within the Almoravides walls, still partially standing. The main monuments are placed in the South part of the old town, so the area is good if you want to escape the crowds and the typical touristy atmosphere but still be close to the main cultural attractions (the Cathedral is about 20 minutes walking distance). The apartment location limits with La Macarena, a traditional district in the city, that gives you a real taste of the everyday Sevillian life.

Peral is a quiet street only a few meters from the lively Alameda de Hércules -recently refurbished and full of nice restaurants, cafes and bars- and the commercial calle Feria, where you can find traditional and local shops, a second hand market (on Thursdays) and the oldest market in the city to purchase fresh products (meat, fish, vegetables, sea food, fruit, etc.). You have also a couple of supermarkets within a couple of minutes walking from the apartment.

Accessibility and good communication are guaranteed. If you prefer not to walk, there are several bus stops and a Sevici station (public bikes to rent) within 50 metres from the apartment, and a taxi can leave you right by the front door. There are also parking options.

Activities in the area: touristic visits to monuments and museums, tapas, theatre, flamenco shows, theme park (Isla Mágica), bicycle and river trips, visits to rural and natural surrounding areas.
