The Diacceroni Organic Farm consists of four antique country homes, immersed in lush Tuscan fields that offer you a vacation get away filled with rest and genuine provincial pleasures. The farm is just around the corner from Volterra and San Gimignano, two walled Medieval towns, rich in art and culture. You will find serenity, tranquility and simplicity here with us in your apartment. We also offer organic products that are grown and produced on the farm. Diacceroni Organic Farm offers: beautiful garden area; communal swimming pool (15 x 9 m, max depth 1,40 m); playground for children; and parking.
At Diacceroni we have our own riding stables. With as many as 22 horses of various levels and abilities, we offer hacks out around the gentle rolling hills that surround our farm, traversing rivers, and passing through quaint borgos. If your dream is to go horse riding in Tuscany, then take a look at what wonderful horse riding experiences await you at Diacceroni Riding Stables. We have a horse riding option for every type of rider, from pony rides for children to a full day horse riding with wine tasting. The hacks are designed to accommodate the least experienced rider, but for those with experience it is possible to go on faster and more challenging rides. When riding out we keep our groups to a maximum size of six including guides. This means that we group horse riders according to their abilities and what they want to do and see. If you are an experienced rider, you can take long rides over varied terrain, enjoying fast canters whenever possible. If that doesn't appeal, and you prefer a more relaxing pace, just enjoying the views then we can do that for you too. For those who have never been on a horse before, it is possible to take lessons in our 30 x 60 arena on some of our gentle and forgiving mounts with qualified instructors, learning the very basic riding skills and building confidence in the saddle and a deeper understanding of our equine friends. We also give intermediate and advanced lessons in dressage and jumping for advanced riders who wish to improve their equitation skills. For the little children we have three ponies who are adapted to giving pony rides, and while the old adage, 'the only good pony is a sleeping pony!' our ponies are the exception!
In addition to the riding stables, we offer other activities, such as mountain bike riding, guided hiking tours, yoga classes, and cooking courses.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, heating and air conditioning. It resides in a recently renovated antique farm house, which maintains elements of its rustic origins. The apartment is pleasant, cozy, rustic, yet elegant.

Our cooking courses are designed to teach the basic traditional Tuscan recipes, with the intention of creating genuine dishes, using our organic products. We will learn the entire process, from start to finish particular dishes.
In Italy, in particular Tuscany, one of the most exported products is the truffle. It is an elite product with ancient origins, and is used in the preparation of refined and exclusive dishes. Our farm organizes excursions in our reserve, where we find many truffle varieties. Our experts along with their truffle dogs are the guides, and they will teach you how to search this noble truffle and how to remove it from under the ground. When you return to Diacceroni, you will enjoy a dinner, included in the price, with the truffles found that day and a glass of wine!
Wine is a strong component of our culture, not only at Diacceroni, but all of Tuscany
Our Wine Trails offer you the opportunity to visit the hilly territory of Tuscany which is home to many vineyards classified as IGT, DOC and DOCG.
The various Wine Trail itineraries will be accompanied by an enologist, Doctor Alfredo Tocchini. During the visit we will talk about the process of making wine, from the harvesting to the bottling. Each course will involve a lunch and more wine tasting!

In Mid of August 2016 we arrived at Diacceroni resort. We chose this place reading all the nice commentaries from the previous visitors.
When we, 2 adults and 2 girls, visited the resort for the first time, we found everything available and in shape as described on the homepage and the HomeAway booking page:
-very friendly owner and team, always helpful, providing the expected service and beyond (thx for the cooking recipes..)
-rooms (we stayed at Pelagaccio) were clean and well equipped
-surrounding included everything we were looking for: great pool with 360 degree view, table tennis, horse riding at Diacceroni, friendly neighborhood, beautiful landscape, etc.
- don't miss the parties (3 times a week)!
Generally it was the perfect place to be, if you want to relax on one hand and enjoy meeting people on the other. Our girls loved the horses and were easily in contact with other kids.
The whole family decided already during the stay to return next summer.
Thank you again to Massi and his team. We will see each other soon.

In the middle of the Tosca landshape, you can enjoy the rest with nice neighbours as a dunky and some horses for example. We had an apartment 2+2 and it is really an absolute topper: it's very clean, the owners are helpful and friendly. The swimming pool is large and there is also a playing parc outdoor fot children... We enjoyed it soo much!!! Lot of thanks to Massimiliano and family. I hope we come back as soon as possible!!!
My fiance and I really enjoyed our week's stay at this lovely farm. We stayed in one of the 4 villas about fifteen minutes walk from the main house. The location as amazing, especially views from the pool area. The villa was clean and peaceful, with a real rustic charm. We enjoyed feeding our leftovers to the pigs and seeing the donkey everyday.
We were invited to several nights at the main house, including a welcome party on the saturday, amd pizza and pasta parties through the week. We went on the sat and had great meal thanks to the owners, a really friendly affair.
We'd really recommend Agriturismo Diacceroni as a base for seeing Tuscany or as somewhere to unwind.

We have just returned back from 1 week holiday. We stayed in Diacceroni facility Apartment Nb 3. decorated in Tuscan style, apartments have own heating and air-condition equipment, TV is on demand but actually you do not need it with all the activities around.
What we liked most:
1. Horse back riding and lessons with Julia instructor. Julia is the best horse back riding teacher in the world and in addition really splendid human being. We will return back next spring in order to continue lessons and visit what we did not succeed this time.
2. Welcome party, Pasta party, Pizza party, Wine tasting. This is an excellent formula free of charge proposed by Diacceroni, we liked it so much.
3.Eating in local restaurant, locally produced pasta, wine and limoncello were really delicious.
4.Local staff - always smiling, making your day and willing to help whenever you need it, you feel like at home within your family.
Areas of possible improvement:
1. Wi-Fi in Diacceroni facility was so weak that it could not be used at all.
2. Restaurant menu was simple and did not change during whole week. Even though food was delicious we would welcome better variety.
Despite of that unfortunately we had to leave 1 day sooner due to personal reasons and my car got broken I rate this vacation as excellent and we felt really sad by leaving with impression of missing it already only few meters after main entrance gate. We definitely return back next spring !
GRACIE MILLE MASSIMILIANO E CIAO A TUTTI

Volterra is located in the province of Pisa and lies between the valley of Era and Cecina. Built on a hilly Pliocene ridge 545 meters above sea level, surrounded by two defensive walls, one Etruscan and the other Medieval, it is one of the most important centers of Tuscany, for its monuments which testify 3,000 years of civilization and for its traditional craftsmanship in alabaster whose products are one of Italy's leading crafts. Volterra is not yet touched by the stress of contemporary life and visitors who come to Volterra have the immediate impression of stepping into the past, of being in a particular place with its narrow medieval streets and the enigma of its Etruscan origins. Volterra is prevalently medieval and yet cherishes abundant evidence of the Etruscan period: the Porta all'Arco (the Etruscan gate) which date from the 4th century B.C., the Acropolis, and the defensive walls which are still visible in parts of the town.
