The Diacceroni Organic Farm consists of four antique country homes, immersed in lush Tuscan fields that offer you a vacation get away filled with rest and genuine provincial pleasures. The farm is just around the corner from Volterra and San Gimignano, two walled Medieval towns, rich in art and culture. You will find serenity, tranquility and simplicity here with us in your apartment. We also offer organic products that are grown and produced on the farm. Diacceroni Organic Farm offers: beautiful garden area; communal swimming pool (15 x 9 m, max depth 1,40 m); playground for children; and parking.
At Diacceroni we have our own riding stables. With as many as 22 horses of various levels and abilities, we offer hacks out around the gentle rolling hills that surround our farm, traversing rivers, and passing through quaint borgos. If your dream is to go horse riding in Tuscany, then take a look at what wonderful horse riding experiences await you at Diacceroni Riding Stables. We have a horse riding option for every type of rider, from pony rides for children to a full day horse riding with wine tasting. The hacks are designed to accommodate the least experienced rider, but for those with experience it is possible to go on faster and more challenging rides. When riding out we keep our groups to a maximum size of six including guides. This means that we group horse riders according to their abilities and what they want to do and see. If you are an experienced rider, you can take long rides over varied terrain, enjoying fast canters whenever possible. If that doesn't appeal, and you prefer a more relaxing pace, just enjoying the views then we can do that for you too. For those who have never been on a horse before, it is possible to take lessons in our 30 x 60 arena on some of our gentle and forgiving mounts with qualified instructors, learning the very basic riding skills and building confidence in the saddle and a deeper understanding of our equine friends. We also give intermediate and advanced lessons in dressage and jumping for advanced riders who wish to improve their equitation skills. For the little children we have three ponies who are adapted to giving pony rides, and while the old adage, 'the only good pony is a sleeping pony!' our ponies are the exception!
In addition to the riding stables, we offer other activities, such as mountain bike riding, guided hiking tours, yoga classes, and cooking courses.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, heating and air conditioning. It resides in a recently renovated antique farm house, which maintains elements of its rustic origins. The apartment is pleasant, cozy, rustic, yet elegant.

In Italy, in particular Tuscany, one of the most exported products is the truffle. It is an elite product with ancient origins, and is used in the preparation of refined and exclusive dishes. Our farm organizes excursions in our reserve, where we find many truffle varieties. Our experts along with their truffle dogs are the guides, and they will teach you how to search this noble truffle and how to remove it from under the ground. When you return to Diacceroni, you will enjoy a dinner, included in the price, with the truffles found that day and a glass of wine!
Wine is a strong component of our culture, not only at Diacceroni, but all of Tuscany
Our Wine Trails offer you the opportunity to visit the hilly territory of Tuscany which is home to many vineyards classified as IGT, DOC and DOCG.

The welcome was fantastic, we felt like family. Such a relaxed atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble. Very clean, pool beautiful with breathtaking views. Centrally located for day trips to Pisa, Siena and Florence, also the smaller surrounding towns, one of which is A Bocheli's birthplace. The horse riding on site was very professional and the horses are beautiful. There is also an opportunity to have tuition from the excellent chef on site. With a pizza evening, pasta evening and welcome party. The way the communal spaces are laid out means you can be private and quiet if you wish or one can socialise with other guests. I can't say enough about this holiday apart from the fact that we will definitely return, along with many others.
My new wife and I had an absolutely fantastic time at Massimiliano's Pelagaccio.
I booked this villa as it was a reasonable price and seemed to have numerous fantastic reviews wherever I looked.
I originally booked Massimiliano's Diaceronni villa (there are three different villas on Massimiliano's farm), but when we arrived, Massimiliano greeted us with a big smile, and told us that he had somewhere that we might prefer.
I felt a bit nervous as I was being told I was going to get something other than what I'd paid for, but I didn't realise at the time, but this was just excellent service from Massimiliano.
Diaceronni looked great, but there were more families and it happened to be fully booked. Massimiliano took us to his nearby Pelagaccio, which was almost empty, really quiet and the pool had just as amazing views if not better!
The pool at Pelagaccio is also a very ample size, maybe 20m x 15m. As it's on top of a slight hill, you have 360deg. views of Tuscany while swimming.
The apartment was absolutely clean.
Massimiliano happily came and checked how we were later that evening and that we had everything we needed. The complimentary pasta and pizza parties were great fun, a good chance to mingle with others when you want it, we just had to walk 10 minutes through Tuscan fields to get to the main house, quite a treat!
It was a great stay, Massimiliano obviously puts a lot of effort into making your stay enjoyable. He remembered my name and always used it whenever he saw me around. They sent around farm-hands with free excess vegetables that they had from the fields, giving us enough tomatoes for a week!
Massimiliano also gave us restaurant recommendations for the nearby area and one in an old monastery was a great treat for us on our last night.
If you're looking for a good villa holiday with a shared pool, I highly recommend it.
We had a truly fantastic holiday. The location was stunning, and very peaceful. The apartment was very spacious, very clean and well equipped. The pool area was also very nice and clean. We liked the quality of furniture, fixture and fittings. Massimo and his wife made us very welcomed, so we will be definitely coming again.
We had a wonderful holiday in Tuscany at Massimiliano and his wife. The location is very nice with a great panoramic view. The apartment was clean, tasteful and well.
We received a very kind and nice. We miss the daily view of Volterra. The large pool area was created clean and chic.
The events such as the welcome party was just great. We learned in a lot of new people and families know.
The entire family has recovered well and we will be back next year definitely. The system is particularly suitable for families with children. The staff is very nice and helpful. Massimiliano and his wife loving and affectionate. Thank you for the great time.
Volterra is located in the province of Pisa and lies between the valley of Era and Cecina. Built on a hilly Pliocene ridge 545 meters above sea level, surrounded by two defensive walls, one Etruscan and the other Medieval, it is one of the most important centers of Tuscany, for its monuments which testify 3,000 years of civilization and for its traditional craftsmanship in alabaster whose products are one of Italy's leading crafts. Volterra is not yet touched by the stress of contemporary life and visitors who come to Volterra have the immediate impression of stepping into the past, of being in a particular place with its narrow medieval streets and the enigma of its Etruscan origins. Volterra is prevalently medieval and yet cherishes abundant evidence of the Etruscan period: the Porta all'Arco (the Etruscan gate) which date from the 4th century B.C., the Acropolis, and the defensive walls which are still visible in parts of the town.
