the house is situated on the sudern part of the Island in the small and quiet village of St Trojan-les-Bains, 5’ walk from the beach, the forest, tennis courts, shops, restaurants and summer cinema.

The main house is composed with a large living room, opening widely on the terrace with a fire place and an American kitchen. A large first room opens on the patio, and a second room has its window giving on the front garden. Huge Italian shower-room with two lavabos and separate lows with a small lavabo complete the house.

Maison avec beaucoup de charme!

Maison avec beaucoup d'âme et de charme, située au coeur du village, avec accès facile aux commerces et à la rue centrale où il fait bon flâner. Petit jardin agréable au calme avec son beau bassin, ses nombreuses fleurs, son figuier et sa vigne à l'ombre agréable en plein été. L'ensemble de la maison est très bien équipé et surtout extrêmement calme et ressourçant. On s'y sent comme chez soi très rapidement, et on ne souhaite plus repartir, ou alors on ne demande qu'à revenir! Ce que nous avons fait régulièrement durant deux ans.

location de charme

maison très agréable, lumineuse très bien entretenue et pleine de charme.une décoration soignée

situation idéale :les commerces à proximité, la mer très proche ainsi que les pistes cyclables

la propriétaire nous conseille très bien et je recommande cette location

idéale avec deux adolescents qui étaient avec nous et en même temps qui avaient leur indépendance

très bon souvenir de ces vacances

Séjour vacances Toussaint 2011

Semaine en thalasso avec mes 2 filles et ma belle-fille ! super semaine ! la maison se prête très bien à ces "retrouvailles" entre "filles" par sa décoration délicate, son ambiance sereine qui favorise les conversations, son équipement, sa propreté, sa situation dans St-Trojan (marché, resto, etc...) tout est proche. Les conseils de la propriétaire sont super et les adresses de restaurants aussi!

Vacances idéales

Maison tout à fait charmante située idéalement, au coeur d'une petite ville de l'ile d'Oléron et très près de belles plages. La décoration intérieure est soignée et de très bon goût, la cuisine est parfaitement équipée. Parfait pour des vacances en famille ou même entre amis, tout est à portée de main : le marché de St Trojan tous les matins en juillet et aout, les bonnes boulangeries, les terrasses ensoleillées, les plages magnifiques. Nous reviendrons et conseillons fortement!

Séjour à Oléron

Nous avons passer un excellent séjour dans cette trés charmante et agréable maison, trés joliement décorée. Les enfants étaient ravis, beaucoup d'activités à proximité et un marché bien achalandé pour le plaisir de nos papilles. A refaire !

On Oleron Island an ancient fisherman’s house completely rebuilt and decorated by a decorator in 2004. One storey, opening on a gardened patio with a sunny and wind protected terrace.

The house is located on the southern coast of the Island in the small and peaceful village of St Trojan-les-Bains, about 5’ walk from the beach through the forest, near tennis courts, shops, restaurants and summer cinema.

The main house is composed of a large living room, wide open on the terrace, with a fire place and an American kitchen. A large first bedroom also on the patio, and a second one with its window to the front garden. Huge Italian shower-room with two washbasins, and separate lows with a smaller basin complete the first house.

A second house is situated just on the opposite side of the patio, with its own bath-room and lows.

The patio garden is equipped with outdoor furniture, and gas-BQ.

Very well furnished and newly equipped the house offers the best comfort and a refined good taste decoration.

Kilometres long, or more private fine white sand beaches, are all walking or biking distance from the house. The Oleron Island offers all sorts of walks, excursions, sports, typical villages, music and handicraft festivals and markets. The continent with the cities of La Rochelle, Saintes, Rochefort, Brouage, and the Saintonge province, is 15’ drive crossing the free-fee bridge.

All kinds of sports can be practiced, also because of the glorious weather most of the year… wind-surf, surf, body-board, jet-ski, sailing (club 5’ bike) biking (to rent in the village) riding (several clubs on the island) tennis (tennis courts 100 m from the house)

A famous thalassotherapy center can be found on this side of the Island.

What about the local gastronomy? Eglade, mouclade, galette… Not to mention the famous sweet wine Pineau des Charentes, and the dry of the Oléron Island that matches so well to fresh shells, oysters and lobsters…From the market immediately downstreet, fruit and garden vegetables, cheeses, and morning fish are so delicious to enjoy in the shaded patio garden.

February is the season when the whole Island is covered with golden mimosa, and in May, June, September, the weather is so gently warm and the beaches are so calm that the island seems to be all yours.

A charming place to make a break and realise how natural, sound and pleasant life can be.
