My family loves to travel and we have stayed in many rental properties around the US and the world. We are pleased to offer this option to you!
Nancy purchased this House in 2013
Why Nancy chose Westhampton
We fell in love with Pine Island Lake as a relaxing vacation home. We live only 40 minutes away and are happy to accommodate your needs.
What makes this House unique
The view from the living room of the lake and the many windows that slide open for an open breeze are our favorites about the property. Stepping outside and going for an evening or early morning kayak ride is a bonus!

A very nice cottage on a really pretty lake.
A very nice cottage on a really pretty lake. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the gorgeous Autumn colors, canoeing, and walking around the lake. One night we sat on the deck and listened to owls calling back and forth. We had lovely weather and a day of pouring rain. Our only regret is that we did not get to say good bye to your nice neighbors Helen and Mary Ellen - fellow walkers. Our daughter and her friend joined us, and they enjoyed exploring the area. They found a winery, a dairy farm, a guitar shop, restaurants, and an art museum. Thank you for trusting us with your cottage.
Thank you for the compliments and for describing your experience. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay.
Nice lakefront cottage
This was a nice place. It was a bit out in the boonies though. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. One thing bothered me. We were asked via a phone call not to use the outside lights. We weren’t there and were navigating our way back in the dark, the floodlights pointing towards the driveway weren’t working and the overhead porch light wasn’t sufficient so we put on the lights on the side of the house. There was also a complaint from people across the lake that, while we were there, we had the deck lights on overlooking the lake at night. We turned them off by 11. We wanted to see the lake and the lights inside were on with no curtains, seemed logical to us. We stayed 5 nights in September.
Thank you for the review. I apologize about the lights and I plan to have them changed before next season. Obviously, as a renter you should be able to leave the lights on as you like, and again, I apologize.
Comfortable, quiet, simple
It was a bit hard to find but once we did, we found this little place quite comfortable for our purpose--- which was attending workshops at the Snow Farm Craft Center. It has a spacious and well-furnished kitchen and living room area overlooking the lake. We did not get a chance to use any of the water 'toys', but the lake sure was inviting! The beds were fine --- could use an extra blanket for those chilly nights.
Thank you for the positive review and helpful comments. I will work on my directions and make more blankets available! I hope you are able to return and enjoy the lake.
Amazing house in an amazing location!
We just returned home from a week at this location. It was more than we could have ever hoped for. The house was a joy to spend time in. It was clean, totally modernized, and had an awesome open layout with tons of light. It comes fully equipped with water toys and boats for vacationers of all ages. In addition, the view is incredible. The lake was stupendously peaceful. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to spend a week here. Already looking forward to our next stay!
Thank you for the wonderful comments and for taking good care of the property. It will be a pleasure to welcome you back.
Perfect house on the lake. All the amenities you'd want including ac, laundry and awesome grill. Great view of water from your private deck. Great kitchen. Can't recommend it enough!
Thank you for the great review and for visiting!
Great house, beautiful lake, very well-run property!
This is a wonderful property. Nancy has made a beautiful and comfortable home. The house is beautifully decorated and everything you need for a comfortable stay is taken care of. We stayed at the house for 12 days. Two adults and two kids. The view is amazing, and the beds are quite comfortable. The house is very clean, and the lake feels private. The kitchen works very well and has all the cooking tools and pots and pans you need to make a nice meal. From the minute we walked into the house we felt very much at home. Thank you, Nancy, for such a great house. We will definitely want to stay again!!
Thank you Amy for the great review. I am so glad you enjoyed the house and the lake! Have a great summer!
