This was our second stay in this quiet and conveniently located apartment. Comfortable bed, great shower reliable wifi, pleasant manager. We hope to return next year.
We just checked into this apartment yesterday. So far it has met our expectations and we have not faced the issues a couple of recent reviewers experienced. The apartment was clean on our arrival, the kitchen is adequately supplied for preparing a simple meal and we had plenty of hot water for two showers last night. No, its not perfect but I don't know what more could be expected for the price. I will post an update if something happens to change my mind but so far were happy with the apartment.
The bed was extremely comfortable after a long day of sight-seeing. The kitchen really helped to make the trip affordable. All pots and pans for cooking with ease, although no dish towels were provided. The manager met us in a timely fashion for check in and check out. It was explained that a professional cleaning service was used, although there was quite a bit of long hair left throughout the apartment and in the bathroom on the floor. Sacre Coeur could be seen from the kitchen window and the Bastille subway stop was a 3 minute walk from the apartment. A bakery, many restaurants and shops in the immediate area made for a pleasant stay. The description of the apartment is accurate - cozy place for two, maximum.
Pleasant with a striking view, this studio was right for me until I discovered that the management and owner had no intention of supplying basic items described on the VRBO for this self-catered apartment rental. Despite asking for help over the month of my stay, I had use of only one cup, no useable knives, a dirty microwave and frost-filled fridge, dirty bed linens, a clogged vacuum cleaner, burnt-out lighting, and no heat, telephone or working TV. Emails to owner, calls to the management service were essentially ignored. I have stayed in owner-operated apartments in Paris for over 25 years with great satisfaction; but this is the first time I experienced fraud. I will not use VRBO again and will warn my clients of this unsatisfactory booking service.

We loved the location of the apartment and the convenience to other destinations. Joseph, the property manager, was very helpful and accommodating. The price was extremely reasonable. However, we had a few concerns. The elevator is smaller than a phone booth so moving both people and luggage to the 7th floor is a challenge. The apartment is very small, especially with the Murphy bed in the down position. A minor quibble was that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, which we did not discover until an inopportune moment! Finally, the temperature in the shower was only lukewarm which did not make for a pleasant shower after a long day of sightseeing.
