One word: HUGE! Newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 3 bath condo in the the Kona Pacific condo complex is fully stocked with everything you need to make your vacation hassle free. Sleeps up to 6 vacationers.

Right in the heart of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island, there are NO STAIRS to access this unit and we have a keyless entry system so you don't have to worry about late arrival.

A beautiful ocean view from the lanai for sunset relaxing. Amenities include: a king bed, 2 twin beds (converted to a king by request), and a queen sofa sleeper. Fully appointed kitchen with dishwasher and an ice maker in the fridge. Large washer/dryer in unit. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room, with Air Conditioner (honestly you don't need it with ceiling fans and sliding glass doors to the lanai in every room).

Condo is beautifully decorated with print by artist Scott Westmoreland and other Hawaiian art. Includes cable TV (many HD channels), free wi-fi & free long distance to mainland/Canada. Beach towels, coolers and beach chairs for your convenience. Under ground parking that's accessible by elevator. Complex amenities include a completely remodeled pool, gazebo, a bbq area with many tables, and a reading room. One block from downtown Kona and walking distance to 10 restaurants. Also near three popular Kona beaches: Honl Beach, Magic Sands Beach & Kahalu'u Beach.

About Linda Dreher

We are two lovely people from So Cal who met in junior high, stayed friends through high school, and married 30 years later. We've dreamed of moving to Kona, and knew this was the place for us when we spent only 10 minutes at the DMV and got our Hawaii licences. Literally just 10 minutes!

Day-by-day the dream of being full-time Kama'ainas is becoming a reality. We own a few of properties in the Kona area, waiting for the day we can become permanent residents.

You will not find a more beautiful 2 bedroom condo in all of Kona. It's right off Ali'i Drive and steps away from 10 restaurants. You don't even need to rent a car if you don't want. Also, there's no stairs in or out of the unit. Great for Seniors or families with small children.

What makes this condo unique

2 bedroom, 3 BATHS! Yes, three baths! Three people can take a shower at the same time. Where are you going to find that? Huge unit (1200 sq ft) easily sleeps the maximum capacity of 6 people (that's the max, house and HOA rules). King bed master, 2 twins that can be converted to a king on request in 2nd bedroom (for a small fee). Queen sofa sleeper. Electronic lock so you don't need a key to get into the unit, just type in the code. No stairs on and out of the unit. GREAT FOR SENIORS AND RUGRATS. 1/2 block from town, seriously... you can walk to 20 different restaurant and too many shops to count. Walk to Honl Beach and Kona Pier easily.

Excellent place, loved the ameneties and the location

Easy walking distance to heart of Kailua Village. Decent beach access, nice view. Condo pool and grill area was great. The condo itself was awesome. We felt like we were at home every day.

It's always so convenient to be this close to home, and we love walking over to Don the Beachcomber any time we want. We really appreciate your understanding about the window we replaced in the kitchen. Things happen but we tried to get this done before your stay, and thank you for facing this little inconvenience with a smile when Tom was still working on it upon your arrival. We hope if you return to Kona you will remember our condo, and hopefully next time I can meet you as well!

Great property in a great location!

The description for this apartment says that it's big and it's not wrong! We arrived late in the evening and were pleasantly surprised at just how much space we had. And then the next day we took a stroll down the road and within a couple of minutes had several restaurants and bars to choose from.

The apartment was clean and we loved the ceiling fans which kept it nice & cool all day. We also really appreciated the extras such as the boogie boards, beach towels, chairs and cool box. The location was great as it's close enough to walk into Kailua-Kona but far enough out not to be disturbed by any noise. It's also just a couple of minutes' drive to the main road around the island, providing easy access for day trips.

We took Linda & Tom's advice on a couple of trips including the Fair Winds snorkel cruise which was definitely a major highlight for us. We also went to the Luau at the Royal Kona Hotel just across the road which was a great evening and conveniently located to not need to drive home afterwards!

Our two children loved the swimming pool, which we often had to ourselves, and also loved having their own TV in their bedroom!

Parking was easily accessible as was entrance to the apartment itself. All in all, we loved staying here and would definitely recommend it as a great base for visiting the Big Island.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the great review. It is true, the place is huge. What we love is that there's more than enough bathrooms for the whole family, 3 full bathrooms. It is so convenient to have the Royal Kona Luau within walking distance, sometimes I forget how close it is. Hope you had a Mai Tai after at Don the Beachcomber at the hotel. It's a great place to watch the sunset. So happy you and your family enjoyed your vacation. We hope that if you return to the Big Island you will remember our place.

Great Location

Great condo in a convenient location. Easy walking distance to the shopping area of Kona.

The condo itself was everything we could want for our family get together especially with the

three full bathrooms.

The full kitchen enabled us to have the choice between home cooked meals / outside BBQs

or to walk to one of the many great restaurants in town.

Would love to experience Kona and the Big Island again from this super location.

Kona stay

Owner's Response: And thank you! The view from the lanai and the size were two of the biggest reasons we decided to purchase this condo. You can't beat three full baths. We also love that you can park underneath and simply walk down one floor from the front staircase (or use the elevator easily). The other reason this condo is so perfect is the location: a block away from downtown, but off Ali'i so you avoid the noise factor. So happy you enjoyed your stay. Very impressed with this condo and the location to downtown Kona!

4 of us just stayed here early January 2016. The condo is spacious and clean and we loved the wrap around Lanai with the view of the Ocean just 1 block away. We sat out there many time just watching and listening to the waves. There are plenty of beach towels, chairs and other beach supplies as well as condo supplies provided. This location is great to take a walk anytime of the day or night as it's very near the beaches, restaurants and shopping. Many (but not too many) of the restaurants have live music at night and are open air so you can listen while watching the sun set or the waves crashing on the shore, our favorites were Humpy's and Huggo's on the Rocks. We walked everywhere unless we were going more than 2 miles away to a beach or other excursion at least a couple times each day. If you like a very relaxing Massage, I recommend Ali'i Massage right across the street. I would stay here again the next time we visit Kona and recommend it to everyone wanting to be so close to downtown but still have a quiet place to return to.
