Sunny, bright, magnificent penthouse apartment with 9 meters X 4 meters terrace with fantastic views. Excellent for barbecuing, and watching all the fireworks during the fiesta season in summer. This one bedroom penthouse is located in Msida. This locality makes it very easy to reach Valletta, Sliema, St Julians, etc. It has a large open plan living/kitchen. Is fully air conditioned and equipped. The lounge can be turned into a comfortable double bed, making the apartment sleeping up to four. Separate dining area, T.V with DVD, and computer with 24 hours free internet.

All inclusive stay.: The prices quoted include a week stay at the apartment including all water, electricity, and cleaning rates. For an extra euro 150 to 180 we can offer you your airport transfers both ways, an air conditioned four seater car with comprehensive insurance and unlimited mileage, free parking inside the same block, and a small food pack for guests to fin upon arrival.

We booked the apartment and a pickup from the airport, the airport is quite small compared with others we have used and the driver was easily found and the trip to the apartment was fine. Richard the owner met us at the entrance and explained all regarding the apartment, he was an extremely likeable man, it was obvious he would be available at any time should we require his help.The apartment was very good and we did not find it lacking in any way, it was roomy, clean and had all appliances you would need on holiday, if anything there was more than we needed. The balcony was a great feature with it having full sun from around 9.00 am.

It is important to get to grips with the bus service, on leaving the apartment turn right and right again, passed the supermarket to the top of the hill for bus number 32, less than 5 minutes to get there. The bus is, or should be, on a 1 hour service and will take you to Valletta bus station where you can get a bus to anywhere on the island. To return the 32 bus is from a stand found at the bottom end of the bus station, Take a photo of bus times. The 110 bus at the stop outside the supermarket will take you to St Juliens, again take photo of buss times.Valletta is not too big a place and most can be covered in 2 - 3 days. Get a 7 day bus pass, 21 euros, at the bus station but be prepared for a wait of around 30 mins it is busy. Most of the churches palaces seem to have connections to the Knights of St. John, a wealth bunch of guys.

The country to us seemed to be in need of serious work to the properties,

there were unfinished projects everywhere large and small, builders seemed reluctant to tidy up. The location of the apartment regarding a pub or restaurant was poor, supermarket, Waitrose, and a very well stocked convenience store was as good as anyone could want. Run out of wine? Downstairs , next door and back in less than 5 minutes with a replacement.

All said we had a fine holiday

Appartment very nice; super market 100 meters away; good communications; we are very satisfied.

We are very satisfied with the appartement, the terrace is marvellous. The location is good 100 meters to a super market where you can buy take away food. Good communications with Sliema and Valetta from where you reach the rest of Malta.

We were there mostly for work, research, and found the area quiet and the appartement adequately equipped with fast Wi-Fi, and a combined eating working room made life easy. The appartement is very light since windows are in south.

We are very satisfied and we will definitely rent it again.

summer holdiday 2016

Our stay in this apartment was really relaxed and we enjoyed our time. It is a big and comfortable flat and it is fully equipped . There is enough space for three people.

The highlight is the amazing view from the huge terrace over the city.

Furthermore, there is a good infrastructure and you can easily walk to the next bus stop. You can take the bus to reach all the sights or other destinations.

Close to the apartment is a little shop for small shoppings and a bigger one where you can find eyerything is approximate a two minutes walk away.

Richard is a friendly and attentive owner. He cares about his customers and wants to make there stay as great as possible.

We would highly recommend this Penthouse apartment.

Our second visit to this wonderful penthouse and w

Wonderful stay at the penthouse. Added the car hire to our booking but only used it twice. The apartment had everything we needed and supermarket down stairs and just around the corner, no need to go far. We came for the sun and got it all day long on the balcony. Discovered around 8 or 9 restaurants only 10 minutes walk away. Over by the university, so everything we wanted was there. If you want to visit places around the island, you can get a bus to just about everywhere from the hospital, just across the road. Richard is always available on the phone to help with any problems or advice.

Magnificent views

What a find. We were on a first visit to Malta and decided to book Richards sunny penthouse apartment. We decided to pass on the hire car package opting to be pick up and dropped off by taxi organised by Richard. The driver was waiting when we arrived and within 15 mins we had arrived to be greeted by Richard. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. Everything you require for self catering was there including a few basics milk bread etc. Fabulous views across the city. Didn't really need a car as the bus stop is just a few minutes away and the 123 bus route gets you to Valletta bus station within 20mins enabling connections to anywhere on the island. Added bonus for us was the Malta air show which was on the first weekend of our stay so with the uninterrupted views from the balcony we had the perfect vantage point. Well worth the money for our weeks stay with Richard close to hand when required.

Nice apartment in a quiet residential area.

Very comfortable, well furnished and spacious (by European standards) apartment. Richard was a splendid host who responded quickly to the very few issues we had (e.g., lost luggage, flat tire). Like all the Maltese people we encountered during our stay, Richard was always pleasant and helpful.

We opted for the car rental and airport pickup/dropoff service, since the apartment was off the beaten track on the outer part of Msida. We took the public minibus to Valletta a couple of times, since the stop is a 2-minute walk from the apartment and parking in Valletta is scarce (as it is in Sliema and the three-cities area). Otherwise, we made good use of the rental car for longer trips, especially to visit the many interesting places around Malta. I'd recommend this add-on package ... good value. Just be aware that, if like us you're coming to Malta from North America, you'll be driving on the left side of the road in a right hand drive vehicle. Lots of UK style roundabouts, which I liked in comparison to the North American traffic light system ... roundabouts let you get where you're going faster and with less hassle.

And don't believe the nonsense about Maltese drivers. They're no worse that what you'll encounter in Paris, Rome, London or any other high density location, Personally, I found them to be excellent drivers, and I didn't encounter any problems in the 3 weeks we took to get around all of Malta.

Although the apartment is in a residential area, there's a convenience store right next door, and other general stores and a pharmacy within reasonable walking distance. Also a small pub within a couple of blocks.

The location is very central and makes it easy to drive to Valletta, Sliema, St Julians, Paceville etc. For an extra Euros 230 a week, an air conditioned car is allocated to guests for easy roaming around the island, included are your airport transfers both ways, free parking inside the block, and a small food pack to find upon arrival.
