Why Jérôme GLORIE chose Castellina In Chianti
I love Italy since i'm a teen. The sounds, smells, tastes and flavours, all..., and I discovered Tuscany at 18. An immediate 'coup de foudre'. I come in Castellina for vacations since 42 years now. It was always my dream to buy a house here, in the forest and wild surroundings. I am so happy to stay here, walking around and working hard to grow aromatic plants, harvest and distillate them to produce my organic essential oils. People here are fantastic, helpful, hard and inspired workers.
What makes this Villa unique
The Chianti area: fine wines and good food, The view, the nature, the air, the Magic Cypress Circle, the 10 feet high Mushroom. All the Italian Renaissance culture at your fingertips ! I come here every winter and i adore this season : fresh air, clear light, less people so i can see more wild animals, also the smell of the open fire...

Our group of 9 absolutely love our stay at Jerome's villa in Castellina in Chianti. Jerome was so easy to contact and made the process seamless. The property is gorgeous, and the pool and spa area are divine. Thanks for having us.
A piece of Paradise in Tuscany
Fantastic house in an unique location. Sorrunded by vineyards, great local restaurants, and in the middle between Firenze and Siena. For sure will be back.
This villa is a perfect place for a family vacation in Toscana. A wonderful garden surrounding the house giving peace and quiet, and amazing sunsets. The rooms are nice, but not much in use when can be outside enjoying the pool and the jaccuzzi. Everything you need is there so we ate some of our meals there, and also enjoyed the restaurants that are not far in Castellina or San Donato.
Wonderful time. Gorgeous property, loved the spa amenities. Perfect location. I would recommend.
A Tuscan Dream
If only pictures can capture the beauty of this home and property. House has a view from every window showcasing the beautiful Tuscan landscape. The house is equipped with everything you might need for any length of stay every detail has been thought of even bathrobes in every bedroom. Especially loved that there was dishwasher equipped as the last thing one wants to do on vacation is wash dishes. The property has an amazing sauna and spa room. My favorite part were the chairs outdoor where we spent every night watching the sunset. We recommend renting a car as it’s a bit remote but close to the small towns nearby where you can pick up groceries or dine at very authentic Italian restaurants. My only wish would be that I was the owner to this beautiful home so I would never have to leave. Book away you won’t regret!
The Chianti area in Tuscany is world famous for its great 'Chianti classico' wine and delicious food. I suggest booking a wine tasting by Nittardi, just 4km from our home, or at the Fattoria La Ripa for organic wines (5km), and a guided tour of some of the Chianti Classico vineyards and "cantina".
Castellina is offering several good restaurants, from one gorgeous (ex) 1 star Michelin to the local tasteful pizzeria.
Our nice neighbor (2km) Katharina-Ulrike organise excellent Tuscan cooking lessons in English, German and of course Italian. Her son Fabian is a bow instructor and have a nice and very realistic 3D archery trail. (Chianti3darchery.com).
Visiting Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena and of course Florence are a must.
