Modern apartment ideal for family rent. Situated on a raised, south facing site, with nice front garden. Typical Algarvian beaches located nearby, accessible via free regular transport. Town square can also be accessed by this free service. There are 4 outdoor swimming pools (one heated) and 4 cafes/bars on the complex. All the comforts of home and more. If you don't feel like going out, the apartment is ideal for sunbathers, as it has an ideal ground floor patio & garden with sun all day. For those familiar with the club, the blue house (Case Azuil) is now open as an additional restaurant and pool area. The apartment has a modern smart 49" flat screen T.V. where you can connect to Netflix, stream off a phone/computer or connect an exterior hard drive and enjoy your own viewing. Cable T.V. is installed with numerous English films and series'. A DVD player is also installed with a selection of films supplied. A big bonus is that high speed internet is supplied free of any charges.

While smoking is not forbidden, I would request that residents smoke outside as much as possible. Internet facilities are available at reception. The reception operates a 24 hour service and is available to sort out your problems. You may also book taxis and tourist attractions from there. Please note, towels for beach and pool use are NOT supplied and apartment towels are not for outside use. A hairdryer is also supplied at the apartment thus reducing your luggage weight. There are a number of novels supplied which may be exchanged free of charge at reception. Cable t.v. is installed, t.v. has H.D.M.I. input for computer or external hard drive (cable not supplied) there is also a large selection of d.v.d. supplied and an ample supply of novels.

Wish we were still there!!!!

We had an amazing holiday and loved this apartment, as another review states the pictures don't do it justice. The living space is larger than it looks and the private veranda is a perfect place to relax. John was very helpful and we enjoyed a lovely meal at the restaurant he recommended and we appreciated the transfers being organised. We used Uber for all our travelling needs which was great as they pick you up right outside the apartment if you leave your phone at the kitchen window!!! The wee shop in the complex is fine for your basics and the campsite shop has a slightly larger range but we used Aldi's for our large shop and got everything we were looking for there. The housekeeper was very helpful and her local knowIedge helped us greatly. I would definitely recommend this apartment and wish we were still there!!!!

Spacious and clean apartment w/ aircon & all mod cons on a complex w/ 4 pools & lovely gardens

I stayed for 10 days (10-21 July) with family and would definitely recommend this apartment and Clube Albufeira. The apartment is clean and comfortable with everything you need, communication with the owner is easy, very responsive to emails. Easy access from the apartment to a choice of 4 clean and spacious pools on the complex (and you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sun lounger - usually filled up between 9:30 and 10 a.m.). Mini market, 2 restaurants, children's playground, crazy golf, volley ball court, pétanque and pool bars on site, as well as a shuttle service to town (which we did not use as we hired a car). The car came in very handy as one of our party had knee problems and therefore the fairly steep slopes on the complex were a struggle but there is ample parking close to each pool so it wasn't a problem and the car was great for exploring a bit further afield. The distances to each pool are short, so slopes not a problem for the rest of the party (aged 6, 8, 39 and 69). The resort is well maintained with lovely gardens. The apartment has a lovely terrace and garden, sunny all day, patio furniture, sun loungers and a good BBQ.

Aqua aerobics at different pools throughout the week if you want to join in, there is a kids club (which we didn't use).

Thanks John, wouldn't hesitate to return!

Excellent apartment and on site facilities

Just back after spending 14 nights in this fantastic apartment which is ideally located in the centre of the club with easy access to the pools, bars and restaurants on site. The apartment is very well equipped and the living area spacious, the photos do not do full justice to this property. The outside garden area is great and fully echo the comments of others that it provides a safe environment to relax if you have young children.

We chose not to hire a car and instead opted to just use taxis which can be booked at the club reception for a small charge. €5 will get you into the old town and even when we went further afield to the Zoomarine water/theme park it was only €15 each way (Note: there is a free bus service available from the club, but we wanted the flexibility to come/go as we pleased).

As well as the mini market on site and the slightly larger shop over the road at the camp site there is a Pingo Doce supermarket about 1.5km down the road which stocks most things you might need during your stay. Also nearby is Restaurante A Cocheira, ideal if you're looking for a change from what is available on site and don't fancy venturing too far, the service and the food on our visit were both first class.

John has been a pleasure to deal with from the initial booking right up to the end of our stay, always prompt to respond to any questions or queries we have had.

Just as described

Just spent a week in this apartment before heading off to another location, and a week wasn't long enough. It was just as described, if anything, the photos don't do it justice. I went with my partner and two children (3 & 2 years) and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grass area outside the terrace was great for kids. It was quite private and felt safe. The complex itself was great, and we spent most of our days at the 'top pool' where we'd eat lunch too. The staff on site at the complex were fantastic, so polite. We would definitely look at going back.

Lovely apartment, clean and comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 11 night stay in the apartment which was in a quiet location and had a patio and garden where we could relax on sun loungers when not using the pool. The owner was extremely helpful and we would recommend this apartment for either couples or a family. We walked into the town every evening where there are many restaurants to chose from one of our favourites is Ricardo's. The Portugese people are really friendly and it was a perfect, relaxing holiday.

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment

We stayed in this apartment for 10 nights and had a great time. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and clean . We loved the private garden ,ideal with our young children . The apartment is close to 2 of the pools ,one of them is the main pool which we used most days. There is also a little shop that sell's essentials close to the apartment. Would defiantly recommend both apartment and complex. Also owner very helpful.

From this apartment you have easy access to shops, bars, and restaurants. The train station is close by and serves Lisbon (less than 2 hours) Seville may be accessed by bus in roughly 2 hours. The popular LIDL store is located close by. From the apartment you can choose from a myriad of fine beaches such as fisherman's, gale, san rafael and salgados. This is also an ideal location for golfers, as staying here entitles them to green fee discounts at certain courses. The Algarve is a golfers dream as you will be spoiled for choice. This complex is also a safe haven for children. A bonus to this complex is, that there is 24 hour security personnel onsite. The reception, with it's very friendly and helpful staff is maned 24 hours per day.
