Feedback

Myself, my husband and our two children (12 & 16) have just returned from a 4 night break in Silvia's apartment. We were met on arrival by Roberta who went through all the details of the accommodation (keys, gas, wifi etc.) and answered our questions. The apartment was extremely well equipped and exactly as described. Even cling film, dishwasher tablets and other useful items were left in the kitchen and shower gel and hand wash in the bathroom! The shower was great and hot water and towels plentiful. On our last day Silvia was kind enough to store our suitcases at her nearby apartment so that we could enjoy our final day unencumbered by luggage. She also helped us to arrange our airport transfer. She did everything she could to help us enjoy our stay. During the booking process, in the run up to our stay and whilst we were there she was always on hand and very responsive to e-mails etc. She never made us feel like a nuisance and did everything in her power to help us to have a great trip. This is a lovely apartment in a very convenient location to explore Rome on foot or by bus. The bus stop was very convenient for the apartment but the infrequency of the buses (beyond Silvia's control!) meant that it took the same time for us to walk (20 mins to the Vatican, 50 mins to the Piazza Navona). The weather was lovely and the walk very pleasant. There is a very convenient supermarket, tabac (for bus tickets), ice cream shop an restaurants. I really would recommend this apartment to anyone! Thank you Silvia!

Rome was fantastic

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was basic but clean, tidy and comfortable. It's situated 20 minutes walk from the Vatican. The owner Silvia could not of been more helpful. There are plenty of supermarkets in the area to get provisions plus cafes and restaurants to go out and eat. Would highly recommend the apartment and enjoyed our stay

Very convenient to everything. Hostess was friendly and efficient.

When we arrived by taxi after our nine hour flight, we were able to get right into the apartment even though it was still morning. Martina was right there and showed us the apartment. She even adjusted our cost since we were a few people short. We walked to everything- Vatican, restaurants, cafes, and markets. Very safe. The only downside was the comfort of the beds , and the inadequate electricity. It kept cutting out. We would only stay for one night.

Owner's Response: Dear Nancy thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry you did not talk about all the assistance we've given you to prepare your vacation. Check in is from 3pm, but we have allowed you to get in the apartment early in the morning to allow you to arrive in time at your Vatican visit at 13.00. I think these things should be appreciated, As far as light is concerned, the problem concerned a failure in the area, and it did not depend on my . When you booked I told you that the apartment was small for you, but you wanted to pay little. This is the first time I happen to have 3 stars, and I'm sorry to have this opinion, if you book a hotel, usually check in is at 15 o'clock, the fact of having welcomed you at 10 o'clock should have been appreciated, Rome is very hot, and going around with the luggage is very difficult.

Great apartment in a conveniently located neighborhood.

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is as advertised. The neighborhood is not touristy, which was very nice. It felt like a place where the locals lived and shop. There are several great restaurants located nearby. We walked to the Vatican in about 20 minutes. There are busstops close by and taxis are easy to catch on the main road. This apartment was perfect for our family (4 adults and 1 baby). I also appreciated that there was a crib for my baby so I didn't have to bring one with me. I would definitely recommend this apartment if you are looking to stay in Rome. Also, the owner, Sylvia, is very welcoming and more than willing to help with any of your needs. Thanks for a great experience!

An elegant apartment in the centre of Rome

  • 5 of 5

With my wife and daughter, I stayed in the apartment for 5 nights. The flat was lovely with everything we needed from coffee makers to towels exactly as promised. The building is pretty and has a lift. It's tucked away in a quiet street, but just 50 metres from a main road with direct buses to the likes of the Forum and Colosseum. It's just 5 minutes walk down the road to the train station and just over 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. Silvia was the perfect hostess, sending us really useful guides in advance and keeping a wide range of guides in the apartment. There was a transport strike on the day we left and Silvia came round the day before and spent time ordering us a taxi and making sure we would get to the airport in time. The apartment is large and tastefully decorated, with air conditioning and WiFi and we are hoping to stay there again really soon; Ireland is cold in November and Rome is fabulous. We had a great holiday. Thanks Sylvia!

Cozy but beautiful apartment in a perfect location.

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was the perfect choice for our recent holiday in Rome. While the apartment initially looks small, it is more than enough space to accommodate a family. It was only my wife and I, but we loved the space and the location. Start your morning off with coffee on the balcony or end it with wine overlooking the busy street. A 20 minute walk to Vatican City, or a 30 minute walk to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, or the Spanish Steps. This apartment is in walking distance of them all. The apartment is on a very quiet block just off a main road and Silvia is a great host. She helped set up our transfer from the airport and was able to recommend amazing restaurants. If you're going to Rome, this apartment should be at the top of your list.

Great apartment and so convenient

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had a wonderful 7 nights stay.

It's location is ideal - we could walk to the Vatican (stopping for coffee on the way) or jumping on 1 of the many busses into the city.

The apartment was as described - very clean and well equipped.

The service on arrival was excellent even though we arrived later than expected due to "sat-nav" issues and on street parking wasn't a big problem.

Many shops and restaurants nearby - everything you could possibly need.

We hope to use this apartment next time we visit Rome and would recommend others to use it as well
