MADEIRA VISTA CONDOMINIUM is located directly on the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. This fifth floor gulf-front unit is right on the beach. Leave your worries at home and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the privacy of your living room or the beach side deck.

This large unit has a king sized bed in the master bedroom. It is on the gulf-side with a newly remodeled private bathroom with a full size shower, a walkthrough closet and a flatscreen cable TV. The second bedroom has a queen and a twin bed, a newly remodeled private bath with full size tub/shower, two huge closets, and a cable TV. All linens and towels are provided. The bedrooms and their bathrooms are at the opposite ends of the unit thus affording privacy for several couples or a family with kids.

The tiled balcony area has large windows from which the entire beach may be observed. It has a breakfast table and several swivel lounge chairs for relaxing and enjoying watching the waves, dolphins and sunsets. The living room has a large flatscreen TV, a DVD/VCR player and a stereo CD player. It also has a sleeper sofa and a loveseat and a dining area with a table and chairs for six.

The newly remodeled kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs-including new cabinets, new granite countertop, dishwasher, all cooking utensils, dishes, glassware and silverware.

Also provided is Free long distance phone and Free Hi-Speed (20 Mbps) Wireless Internet Access (WiFi).

MADEIRA VISTA is easily reached from either Tampa Airport or St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport. Limousine, shuttles and car rentals are available at both airports.

Florida's premiere attractions-Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios are just a 90-minute drive. Busch Gardens or the Sponge Docks of Tarpon Springs are just 40 minutes away. World famous John's Pass, with shops and restaurants, deep sea fishing boats, casino boats, jet skis, boat rentals and dolphin sight-seeing cruises as well as para-sailing-is just a mile and a half down the beach. For those who prefer not to drive or walk, Trolley (bus service) is available in front of the condo on Gulf Boulevard. A number of great restaurants are also within a block or two of the condo.

Numerous sporting events can be found nearby. The list includes golf, deep-sea fishing, tennis courts, dog racing, para-sailing, jet skiing and casino cruises just to name a few. There are also professional football, basketball, hockey teams and a major league baseball team in the metropolitan St. Petersburg/Tampa area.

At MADEIRA VISTA you have the choice of a heated pool surrounded by lounge chairs for sunbathing, or relaxing on the ocean-side deck while watching the sunsets or sitting on the white sand beach and enjoying a dip in the Gulf of Mexico.

There is a shaded wooden deck downstairs where you can cook on BBQ grills and enjoy lunch or dinner at the many picnic tables while watching the waves and listening to the songs of the ocean. Or just relax and enjoy a conversation or a game of cards with family or friends.

Why Penny Lopez chose Florida Central Gulf Coast

We love this area and we began by staying in many of the beach motels both small and large but then we discovered the 'condo life' where you get so much more for just a little more. We purchased our unit 15 years ago and have truly made it our home away from home. Many of our guests also feel the same way and come back year after year.

What makes this condo unique

This building is unique on the beach - not only for the friendliness of the people that live here but because it is right on the beach - you come downstais and you are literally 30 feet from the sand and a 100 feet from the water - no crossing of hot parking lots or pool areas. The wooden deck downstairs has four grills as well as picnic tables for your enjoyment. This is a unique feature of this building which is great for entertaining or meeting other guests and residents. Finally our resident manager makes the experience even better since he can take care of any small problems or questions and can direct our guests to local restaurants, shopping, etc.

To whom it may concern:

A review was posted to VRBO #60615 (Review #12515600). This person stayed at a different condo in the same building (unit #501, which is next door). That alone should be enough reason for VRBO, whom we do business with, to not post this review. The review had nothing to do with the unit that the renter stayed-in.

In case it matters, his security deposit was retained because of various reasons, including having excess people (over 6) in the unit. He is trying to get revenge for loosing the security deposit by posting bogus reviews for our building. has already removed his reviews after discovering he was posting multiple bogus reviews from different Email accounts.

I hope that, with whom we have a long-standing business relationship, will do the correct thing by NOT posting this bogus review. Obviously, we will not want to have an ad in place that will drive customers AWAY from this vacation condo, especially for something over which we had no control.

Not a good Place to stay

stayed from 7-11 to 7-18 and it was not the best experience. Washer went out and they let us use a washer in another unit which was also defective. There was a drunk woman flashing her breasts, screaming at her husband throwing objects off the 3rd floor balcony into the pool while my grandsons were swimming. I have it on film and have posted it to Facebook and You Tube. This is not a kid friendly place. If you want to drink and party this is your place.

We did have and extra guest which caused me to lose my deposit but I am ok with that. Rules are rules so that's fine. The owner lied saying the room was a mess and my grandsons were unruly, which neither are true.

This is an average place. Look around there are better places for the money.

We require a $250/wk reservation deposit and a $250 security deposit. This deposit reserves the unit and also locks in your rate. There is a one-time $95.00 cleaning/departure fee added to each stay. Local lodging taxes are 13% of the total.
