Stunning, spacious highly recommended 2 bedrooms apartment sleeps up to 5

The living room is spacious and bright. There is a fresco painting on the ceiling. It has been assessed by experts working on behalf of ‘Les Bâtiments de France’ (French historical buildings authority) and Monsieur Astro (director of ‘Le Palais Lascaris’ a museum in the old town). They are in no doubt that the fresco was painted around 1750, with some ornaments realised later in the century. Unfortunately, they are not able to say who the painter was, but have agreed that a fresco in this area and in such good condition is very rare. When in this room, you get a wonderful feeling of being a part of history.There is a CD/tape player/radio, DVD player and a television should you wish to bring your favourite CDs and DVDs with you. There is an elegant velvet sofa, two easy chairs, dining table and chairs. The ‘kitchen Americaine’ is equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, 5 ringed hob and oven, microwave, cafetiere, electric kettle and toaster, there is an iron.

Great Flat....Great Location....Fantastic time!

This lovely flat in the heart of old town Nice was just perfect for our trip. The listing and description were exactly as described. We had great beach access and a patisserie and wine shop were less then a block away. Who could ask for more in France. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen made for an excellent small dinner party for my friends. Tony Cremer Price was an excellent manager and provided wonderful service. I plan on renting from him again when we go back to Nice. Thanks again for a great place to stay Tony!!

ice falls in nice

the great advantage of this apartment is the location - it's 2 mins away from the cours saleya in the old town with a wide choice of bars and restaurants to hand and it is in an traditional old characterful block. the stairs are a challenge to negotiate with luggage and would make it difficult for mobility challenged. the furniture was mixed with a lovely settee but 2 armchairs that need updating. the apt had a very musty smell on arrival - a blast of fresh air resolved this but the bedding which could do with replacing maintained the smell for the next 3 days. tony,the owner maintained contact throughout and keys arrived as promised - another set would be helpful if, as we were, your party is 2 couples. if you want to have outside space then this apt is not for you but if you want to be within walking distance of the most characterful part of nice then its worth considering

Owner's Response: The apartment had been sealed up for 8 weeks whilst major renovation works and re-painting of all communal areas throughout the building were undertaken - the entrance hall, the stairways and landings. Naturally, during that time I did not accept any lettings for the apartment. I got my excellent cleaner who has worked for me for 9 years to check over the apartment before the guests arrived. I have spoken to guest and explained that he was the first to visit after completion of those major works. This apartment is very much appreciated by my visitors who love it's style, decor and it's historic significance, the rare and original 18th century fresco painting on the living room ceiling, it's very professional renovation, and it's great location in the heart of the Old Town . The 2 armchairs have now been replaced. 2 sets of keys are provided for visitors who ask for them.

Il proprietario è precisissimo, ci ha inviato le chiavi di casa appena ha ricevuto il pagamento, un mese e mezzo prima della nostra vacanza.
